Tamera...same thing when a ghost visited me and my 4 year old daughter!!! I walked into the room and instantly felt the presence of something truly evil in the corner by the foot of the bed. I looked to the corner and all the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I could feel the darkness suffocating that corner of the room. My daughter was lying on the bed when i looked at her she was wide eyed and frozen, with her gaze fixed on that corner of the room where the bad energy was. She would not look at me. She kept repeating..."there's a ghost" through a frozen terrified little face. All i wanted to do was grab my child and run out the room. I stopped myself from showing anything other than faith in God. I knew that if i freaked out that she would be scared for the rest of her life in many ways, and i did not want to brand that kind of fear on my four year old's spirit. So even though i was terrified beyond anything i have ever known, i calmly told her to rebuke it in the name of jesus christ and trust in the power of God. I said "God is more bright and beautiful and powerful than any darkness and with our love of God and faith in the power of God we have the ability to rebuke anything demonic. When we do this nothing can harm us and we can make the bad spirits leave us." So, I rebuked the ghost: "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ..." And then she rebuked the ghost..."i rebuke you in the name of cheese and rice." I ended up laughing so hard i nearly peed myself! Oh man...anyhoo she went from terrified to empowered and it worked. That ghost left us as soon as the words fell out my mouth and my finger pointed instruction to leave, with conviction. All i know is that...The power of God IS real. When we call upon the blood of jesus to be around us in fighting the principalities of darkness...we are truly protected...i absolutely believe this with all my heart. My daughter and I witnessed it first hand that evening. It was a life lesson. Love this show so much.

My New Walk With Jesus woah.. didn’t even think of that. Makes sense, I don’t play with none of that. My father had a crazy experience one day, he has his own pest control so he has keys to places and is allowed to go in when no one is there, he went into this church and he said he got a weird feeling going in. But he loved him so Jesus so he was going to get the job done. He came into a long hallway and there’s a bunch of doors and the one straight down just creeked open and slammed shut, then the one behind him did. He said when he walked outside to leave he thought it was going to be dark, gloomy and raining but it was sunshine and the birds were chirping. Eek!

Loni experienced sleep paralysis. It's scary. I've tried waking up and for some reason, my eyes just wouldn't open, so I try throwing myself on the floor to wake up, and my body wouldn't respond. Like, in my mind, I'm awake, but my body wouldn't move. I was screaming in my head outta fear, I didn't know what was happening. Then outta nowhere, it's like I came to and finally just snapped awake and was breathing heavy. I was freaking out.

When my ex passed away, he made him feel his presence in every way. By moving the dining table, ringing door bell etc. Was scary I believe Jeanie's story those spirits are real but I keep my Jesus close to me.
I came back here to say I had not one, but TWO ghost encounters tonight. I was alone in my room for both of these, too. First: I was over at my mirror brushing out my eyebrows. On the opposite side of my room, the little handles on my makeup case started swinging all on their own. I was a little freaked out but I thought of Tamera and said, “I rebuke you in the name of Jesus!!” So thanks Tam for helping me out! 😂❤ Second, I put hand sanitizer on my bed post and then I was folding my sweatshirt in another part of my room. Out of nowhere the hand sanitizer fell onto the floor. That freaked me out too but again. I prayed to Jesus and I knew He had me covered! With Jesus on your side NO ghosts can get you 💅🏼
Aside from the bacon part, I really believe Loni's story. I've experienced sleep paralysis once and it is the most frightening sh*t ever. I couldn't move my body upon waking up even when I tried to. It was crazy!
I remember sleeping one night and hearing someone by my bed breathing really heavy. when I opened my eyes, i saw an outline of a man standing at the foot of my bed. I was so tired that I literally shouted at it saying "REALLY?! I'M TRYING TO SLEEP AND YOU HAVE WOKEN ME UP!! GO THE HELL AWAY!!" and then I remember falling back to sleep. I had told my mom about it and she never believed me.

To this very day, I am still torn on sleep paralysis vs. demon spirit but I’ll tell you this. I had this first happen to me when I six years old while sleeping beside my very religious Christian grandma in her bed. The bed was right up against the wall. She was on the outside and I was on the inside but her back was facing me and I was laying on my back with face slightly titled towards the wall. It was so dark and for some reason I felt like I could see a shadowy face within the wall quietly looking back at me. it gently and bravely reached its arm out to me and slowly rubbed my tummy in a circular motion for 2 seconds. It was so terrifying but I couldn’t move or speak. I could only watch helplessly in fear. For reasons unknown it abruptly stopped/disappeared and the fear subsided and paralysis gone. I immediately shook my grandma to tell her that something in the wall touched me. She said “go to sleep boy” ain’t nothing in the wall. That was her loving way of saying don’t you wake me back up and there ain’t no such thing of anything in that wall. So I eventually fell asleep. but after that night I was forever terrified of sleeping in her bedroom ever again. Fast forward to when I was around age 15, it happened to me again in the same house but different bedroom. My grandma raised me so I grew up in her four bedroom house. This isn’t about the house being haunted because it wasn’t but I still wanted to make the point that I never slept in her original bedroom ever again because that night subconsciously scarred me for life. Over the years, My grandma would occasionally switch up which bedroom she used. Anyway, fastforward to when I was like 15 in high school using one of the other bedrooms. On this next experience I casually awakened in the middle of the night and I felt like something was at the foot of the bed but i couldn’t move or speak and it was pitch black so I can’t see but I am petrified because I’m like oh god it’s happening again. And my eyes are so wide open scrambling to visualize whatever this thing is that I can feel slowly crawling up my legs towards my chest and it kinda decides to just stop moving any further above my chest and it heavily rests right there upon my chest and it’s so dark that I really can’t make out any face or object because I’m laying directly on my back with my head laying flat on the pillow so my open eyes are staring directly at the ceiling and that makes it hard for me to look downward to see my chest. But I feel this presence is looking right at me and toying with me. I’m trying my best to move or scream out for help. ironically the energy from me being so terrified allows me to free my vocals enough that I’m able to scream out what I’d consider to be a very deep and elongated moan of agony. Like uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I can’t say words but I’m repeatedly uhhhhhhhh-ing 2 or 3 times in a row until I was magically and abruptly set free and I immediately sat up in a frenzied panic to absolutely nothing. I mentioned it to my grandma who told me “that’s the witch riding your back” a southern term used to describe this sleep paralysis but she gave no further explanation as there simply wasn’t anything further to the folklore. she defined it to me with a gentle smile yet I could tell she fondly amused because she obviously had this happen to her and she knew full well what I was talking about. but she gave no indication that it was good or bad. It was nearly 10 years later at age 25 that i would randomly get sleep paralysis once or twice a year up until a year ago when I was 39. None were as intense as the first two. through my late twenties any further encounter were short lived and unsettling. I’d either be laying on my side or with the blanket partially over my face so I could never fully see what was going on but I could sense it. One of them I felt like I was slowly being pulled by the legs downward but other than that, the presence stopped making direct physical contact but it would do things like lay right up beside me or against me in the opposite direction of where I can see. Most of the time my fear helped break me loose but I know there were moments I spoke to god to save me and eventually the nonsense would end. But I did try to investigate “witch riding your back” on the internet and mostly everything pointed to sleep paralysis. As I read the sleep paralysis explanation of “hallucinations” and countless testimonies describing my feelings of pressure, paralysis, no ability to speak, then I was kinda disappointed yet relieved that this was a non life threatening thing that happens to people. one of the suggested causes of this is when you’re extremely tired or have lack of rest. It’s so true for my adult moments. But it doesn’t make sense for my adolescent one and my teenage one. I’m 40 today but the last one I had was like a year ago. My cure was actually to stop sleeping under the blanket and to always sleep with the light on. I no longer sleep in the dark. I knew that I could end the hallucinations if My Field of sight is in a bright room that I won’t have to mistake any object in the dark as something else or I feel as if a demon wont let me see it in the light so it will probably leave me alone. Because number one god probably don’t allow demons to appear to our eyes in light because it would give us too much physical proof of life after death and fear would become more important than faith because fear would solely fuel our desire to believe. In that context, Faith would seemingly become unnecessary to an extent. But what i find interesting is that after becoming an adult I’ve never had paralysis happen to me if I was sharing a bed or bedroom. And those are the only times I actually can sleep with the lights off. But if I’m sleeping alone then it’s lights on for the rest of my time on earth. It is an absolute manadatory habit that I turn on the lights before I get in my bed. I really wish there was full clarity on the topic because the scientific explanation and the spiritual explanation both make sense but they both equal unrest which leads me to self curing by way of light lol. I’m too old to have my heart racing from this type of fear. All I have to say is that if this sleep paralysis ever happens to me again and my eyes open up and I’m paralyzed and the lights happen to be already turned off due to a random power surge or if I see the lights simply turn off , then I simply will not accept that moment as random and I will be frantically praying to my lord god before I literally go into cardiac arrest and die from the fear. Hallelujah
I used to have sleep paralysis but I never had hallucinations of any shodowy figures. Just a sense of being mentally awake and physically still asleep. More just a feeling of entrapment in my body. I used to panic the first few times but as it happened more often, I learned to keep myself relaxed and fight to wake up my body. Only have been able to break free omce. I have actually felt myself induce sleep paralysis just by fully exhaling. I thought maybe it could be caused by physically weakness, bad diet or something. I will say that your experiences sound more demonic than an episode of sleep paralysis. So if you're still uneasy about this particular thing then speak to someone religious about it. I believe in demons fully. In Arabic we call them djinn. Wish you all the best.
I think the proper term to use here is Spirits, because they are more defined and have an actually purpose, and they are indeed real. And I agree with Tamera that when you do feel an evil presences you call on the almighty God to save you. Plus Jeannie's story was terrifying.
Yeah, that was definitely a moment of sleep paralysis that Loni had. Which I've experienced a handful of times myself throughout my life and it is one of the most terrifying things that anyone could ever go through. I know there are people out there who swear up and down that sleep paralysis is caused by demons - but thankfully, medical science has a much more judiciously plausible explanation for how and why it happens. Doing a few minutes of research (that is creditably sourced) will give you all the answers you'll need. Sleep tight, friends. 😃

What happened to Loni is EXACTLY what happened to me. It was like I could see the outline of a male presence on top of me and I could not move and I just remembered what my mother told me and called for Jesus and I immediately sprang up. Ain't no joke!
I have actually never heard sleep paralysis described as a ghost holding you. I've heard the one about the "witch riding your back" growing up. And also one about the "devil trying to steal your soul" or something. Oh, and how if it happens it means you're evil. Loni isn't exaggerating. It's called sleep paralysis and it can be very frightening at times. I've been dealing with it on a weekly basis since 2011. If you can get through it and fall back asleep, though, sometimes it leads to lucid dreaming which is awesome.
That cord story Tamera told actually kinda happened to me a few years ago, didn't think much of it though until a couple of years ago I remembered it for some reason n I realized that something was wrong.. It was around 3AM, I had just taken a shower n as I came out of the bathroom there was one of those really long cords that has several outlets, it was laying there on the floor when it suddenly was lifted like 6-7 inches n dropped.. This happened in less that 2 or 3 seconds.. Funny part is I went on with my night like nothing happened.. Still to this day I question whether it actually happened or was I just tired n imagining things....

Tamera...same thing when a ghost visited me and my 4 year old daughter!!! I walked into the room and instantly felt the presence of something truly evil in the corner by the foot of the bed. I looked to the corner and all the hairs on the back of my neck stood up. I could feel the darkness suffocating that corner of the room. My daughter was lying on the bed when i looked at her she was wide eyed and frozen, with her gaze fixed on that corner of the room where the bad energy was. She would not look at me. She kept repeating..."there's a ghost" through a frozen terrified little face. All i wanted to do was grab my child and run out the room. I stopped myself from showing anything other than faith in God. I knew that if i freaked out that she would be scared for the rest of her life in many ways, and i did not want to brand that kind of fear on my four year old's spirit. So even though i was terrified beyond anything i have ever known, i calmly told her to rebuke it in the name of jesus christ and trust in the power of God. I said "God is more bright and beautiful and powerful than any darkness and with our love of God and faith in the power of God we have the ability to rebuke anything demonic. When we do this nothing can harm us and we can make the bad spirits leave us." So, I rebuked the ghost: "I rebuke you in the name of Jesus Christ..."
And then she rebuked the ghost..."i rebuke you in the name of cheese and rice."
I ended up laughing so hard i nearly peed myself! Oh man...anyhoo she went from terrified to empowered and it worked. That ghost left us as soon as the words fell out my mouth and my finger pointed instruction to leave, with conviction. All i know is that...The power of God IS real. When we call upon the blood of jesus to be around us in fighting the principalities of darkness...we are truly protected...i absolutely believe this with all my heart. My daughter and I witnessed it first hand that evening. It was a life lesson. Love this show so much.

My father had a crazy experience one day, he has his own pest control so he has keys to places and is allowed to go in when no one is there, he went into this church and he said he got a weird feeling going in. But he loved him so Jesus so he was going to get the job done. He came into a long hallway and there’s a bunch of doors and the one straight down just creeked open and slammed shut, then the one behind him did. He said when he walked outside to leave he thought it was going to be dark, gloomy and raining but it was sunshine and the birds were chirping. Eek!

Loni experienced sleep paralysis. It's scary. I've tried waking up and for some reason, my eyes just wouldn't open, so I try throwing myself on the floor to wake up, and my body wouldn't respond. Like, in my mind, I'm awake, but my body wouldn't move. I was screaming in my head outta fear, I didn't know what was happening. Then outta nowhere, it's like I came to and finally just snapped awake and was breathing heavy. I was freaking out.

I came back here to say I had not one, but TWO ghost encounters tonight. I was alone in my room for both of these, too.

To this very day, I am still torn on sleep paralysis vs. demon spirit but I’ll tell you this. I had this first happen to me when I six years old while sleeping beside my very religious Christian grandma in her bed. The bed was right up against the wall. She was on the outside and I was on the inside but her back was facing me and I was laying on my back with face slightly titled towards the wall. It was so dark and for some reason I felt like I could see a shadowy face within the wall quietly looking back at me. it gently and bravely reached its arm out to me and slowly rubbed my tummy in a circular motion for 2 seconds. It was so terrifying but I couldn’t move or speak. I could only watch helplessly in fear. For reasons unknown it abruptly stopped/disappeared and the fear subsided and paralysis gone. I immediately shook my grandma to tell her that something in the wall touched me. She said “go to sleep boy” ain’t nothing in the wall. That was her loving way of saying don’t you wake me back up and there ain’t no such thing of anything in that wall. So I eventually fell asleep. but after that night I was forever terrified of sleeping in her bedroom ever again. Fast forward to when I was around age 15, it happened to me again in the same house but different bedroom. My grandma raised me so I grew up in her four bedroom house. This isn’t about the house being haunted because it wasn’t but I still wanted to make the point that I never slept in her original bedroom ever again because that night subconsciously scarred me for life. Over the years, My grandma would occasionally switch up which bedroom she used. Anyway, fastforward to when I was like 15 in high school using one of the other bedrooms. On this next experience I casually awakened in the middle of the night and I felt like something was at the foot of the bed but i couldn’t move or speak and it was pitch black so I can’t see but I am petrified because I’m like oh god it’s happening again. And my eyes are so wide open scrambling to visualize whatever this thing is that I can feel slowly crawling up my legs towards my chest and it kinda decides to just stop
moving any further above my chest and it heavily rests right there upon my chest and it’s so dark that I really can’t make out any face or object because I’m laying directly on my back with my head laying flat on the pillow so my open eyes are staring directly at the ceiling and that makes it hard for me to look downward to see my chest. But I feel this presence is looking right at me and toying with me. I’m trying my best to move or scream out for help. ironically the energy from me being so terrified allows me to free my vocals enough that I’m able to scream out what I’d consider to be a very deep and elongated moan of agony. Like uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I can’t say words but I’m repeatedly uhhhhhhhh-ing 2 or 3 times in a row until I was magically and abruptly set free and I immediately sat up in a frenzied panic to absolutely nothing. I mentioned it to my grandma who told me “that’s the witch riding your back” a southern term used to describe this sleep paralysis but she gave no further explanation as there simply wasn’t anything further to the folklore. she defined it to me with a gentle smile yet I could tell she fondly amused because she obviously had this happen to her and she knew full well what I was talking about. but she gave no indication that it was good or bad. It was nearly 10 years later at age 25 that i would randomly get sleep paralysis once or twice a year up until a year ago when I was 39. None were as intense as the first two. through my late twenties any further encounter were short lived and unsettling. I’d either be laying on my side or with the blanket partially over my face so I could never fully see what was going on but I could sense it. One of them I felt like I was slowly being pulled by the legs downward but other than that, the presence stopped making direct physical contact but it would do things like lay right up beside me or against me in the opposite direction of where I can see. Most of the time my fear helped break me loose but I know there were moments I spoke to god to save me and eventually the nonsense would end. But I did try to investigate “witch riding your back” on the internet and mostly everything pointed to sleep paralysis. As I read the sleep paralysis explanation of “hallucinations” and countless testimonies describing my feelings of pressure, paralysis, no ability to speak, then I was kinda disappointed yet relieved that this was a non life threatening thing that happens to people. one of the suggested causes of this is when you’re extremely tired or have lack of rest. It’s so true for my adult moments. But it doesn’t make sense for my adolescent one and my teenage one. I’m 40 today but the last one I had was like a year ago. My cure was actually to stop sleeping under the blanket and to always sleep with the light on. I no longer sleep in the dark. I knew that I could end the hallucinations if My Field of sight is in a bright room that I won’t have to mistake any object in the dark as something else or I feel as if a demon wont let me see it in the light so it will probably leave me alone. Because number one god probably don’t allow demons to appear to our eyes in light because it would give us too much physical proof of life after death and fear would become more important than faith because fear would solely fuel our desire to believe. In that context, Faith would seemingly become unnecessary to an extent. But what i find interesting is that after becoming an adult I’ve never had paralysis happen to me if I was sharing a bed or bedroom. And those are the only times I actually can sleep with the lights off. But if I’m sleeping alone then it’s lights on for the rest of my time on earth. It is an absolute manadatory habit that I turn on the lights before I get in my bed. I really wish there was full clarity on the topic because the scientific explanation and the spiritual explanation both make sense but they both equal unrest which leads me to self curing by way of light lol. I’m too old to have my heart racing from this type of fear. All I have to say is that if this sleep paralysis ever happens to me again and my eyes open up and I’m paralyzed and the lights happen to be already turned off due to a random power surge or if I see the lights simply turn off , then I simply will not accept that moment as random and I will be frantically praying to my lord god before I literally go into cardiac arrest and die from the fear. Hallelujah
I used to have sleep paralysis but I never had hallucinations of any shodowy figures. Just a sense of being mentally awake and physically still asleep. More just a feeling of entrapment in my body. I used to panic the first few times but as it happened more often, I learned to keep myself relaxed and fight to wake up my body. Only have been able to break free omce. I have actually felt myself induce sleep paralysis just by fully exhaling. I thought maybe it could be caused by physically weakness, bad diet or something. I will say that your experiences sound more demonic than an episode of sleep paralysis. So if you're still uneasy about this particular thing then speak to someone religious about it. I believe in demons fully. In Arabic we call them djinn. Wish you all the best.
I think the proper term to use here is Spirits, because they are more defined and have an actually purpose, and they are indeed real. And I agree with Tamera that when you do feel an evil presences you call on the almighty God to save you. Plus Jeannie's story was terrifying.

Yeah, that was definitely a moment of sleep paralysis that Loni had. Which I've experienced a handful of times myself throughout my life and it is one of the most terrifying things that anyone could ever go through. I know there are people out there who swear up and down that sleep paralysis is caused by demons - but thankfully, medical science has a much more judiciously plausible explanation for how and why it happens. Doing a few minutes of research (that is creditably sourced) will give you all the answers you'll need. Sleep tight, friends. 😃

What happened to Loni is EXACTLY what happened to me. It was like I could see the outline of a male presence on top of me and I could not move and I just remembered what my mother told me and called for Jesus and I immediately sprang up. Ain't no joke!

I've heard the one about the "witch riding your back" growing up. And also one about the "devil trying to steal your soul" or something. Oh, and how if it happens it means you're evil.
I suffer from sleep paralysis about once every few months, sometimes more, and its extremely freakin terrifying.

Loni isn't exaggerating. It's called sleep paralysis and it can be very frightening at times. I've been dealing with it on a weekly basis since 2011. If you can get through it and fall back asleep, though, sometimes it leads to lucid dreaming which is awesome.

That cord story Tamera told actually kinda happened to me a few years ago, didn't think much of it though until a couple of years ago I remembered it for some reason n I realized that something was wrong..
It was around 3AM, I had just taken a shower n as I came out of the bathroom there was one of those really long cords that has several outlets, it was laying there on the floor when it suddenly was lifted like 6-7 inches n dropped.. This happened in less that 2 or 3 seconds..
Funny part is I went on with my night like nothing happened.. Still to this day I question whether it actually happened or was I just tired n imagining things....
