I am gonna be that guy. fair warning.....This pianist has no singer singing with them, this means then that the normative rubato and other "interpretations" that are period appropriate need to not happen. The accompanist needs to be metronomical and this recording at least, isn't. If you count it consistently and "out loud" its far too erratic this tempo. Singers and their wonderful CP's can do the beautiful back and forth between them when rehearsing live, but not on a "karaoke recording" If we are going to go this route as musical craft, it needs to be a consistent time meter.
