Window A/C repair - squealing bearing replacement

About a two hour project. Bearings in a central air motor can be repaired the same way. Bearing I used in this 10k BTU GE unit was part number 608-2NSE by Nachi: ebay.us/U030IQ. Koyo and Timken are just as good, NSK or SKF are runners up if neither of those is available in your size. Avoid off-brand, or really any China-made, replacement bearings unless this project looks like your idea of fun!

I love that you’re cranking dank Hybrid beats while fixing your shit! I’m preparing to venture down this exact same road myself on a unit that got a noisy bearing after cleaning it recently and failing to run it for a while to get any water flung out. I’ve fixed plenty of random electronics and parts of appliances before, but never anything inside an electric motor or bearing replacements. Really appreciate you putting this up. You covered a few things that other similar videos did not.
