"And God Created Woman; and the rest, as they say, is history... and Steak Tartare." Kudos to Mr. Boo for casting that hotel venue, he's indeed quite an intuitive location director, truly a remarkably moving scene. And, not just appreciated, but much loved. Thank you!
I really enjoyed the drive-through St. Tropez. It’s such a pretty place. The buildings are lovely. The hotel was very interesting. The views from the hotel are gorgeous! I’m imagining the Germans and the Italians occupying the hotel at the same time. I’ll bet the Italians dressed better for the beach. Love from Vermont
This trip is now over, but I'm looking forward to many more interesting episodes and surprises! I want to thank you again for all the work you put into making these videos!
We definitely appreciate the hard work and time needed to make the videos. Really brightens up my Sunday evening. You make me chuckle (the Scooby Doo impression this week) and educate me too. The old hotel is an incredible building. I am glad that St Tropez was quiet too - will visit in the winter, as cannot cope with noisy crowds anymore. Hope the drive back home went smoothly
"Do you know the road to . . . St. Tropez . . .la la la la la lala " . . . . well we do now ! Great travelog thingee for a Sunday evening . . You've purloined Magenta Divine's crown !
Way more to you two than meets the eye... a class act with wonderful northern humour to go with it. Being a Lancashire lad myself with a French partner it is great to see you both embracing France while keeping your roots .. love it
I would love for the channel to be sponsored by Citroen! So far the content creators of the channel have fortunate enough to avoid carriageways but a fellow in Scotland wasn’t so lucky with his Ami because no alternative routes were available. Elton is living I must say, a charmed life!
Seeing the trees and grass makes me want spring to arrive asap because up here in Minnesota we are under tons of snow and I have a feeling that by the time it all melts it'll be winter again.
That hotel was amazing. I love art deco /modernist architecture - and that view. I can well imagine how nightmarishly busy St Tropez can be at high season. Thanks for an excellent series boys, I’ve really enjoyed it !
Your visit to St. Tropez (and more specifically your drive by Senequier) brings back memories of having a coffee there during a Harley Davidson "convention" and spotting a long haired elderly gent in a Dietrich fur coat sitting right behind a group of leather clad HD bikers from Belgium who were also enjoying a café.
you guys made it, and Elton accomplished the task easily, so great. the glamour, the city at dusk, all the ambience, what a fine and lovely place, thanks a lot boys.
Isn't a wee French for Yes. Ha! Ha! Very Good, Informative and Entertaining Episode. There were some Very Beautiful Scenery Captured. Well done my Friends. 🐶🐕
Ooh. New stuff in your shop. Bag and mug bought as late birthday pressie to me 😀. Ps. Hope you are doing well after your surgery, and French doctors looking after you ❤️
We stayed in the Midland Hotel in Morecambe and it was very similar in many respects to your hotel there. I really enjoyed your series and look forward to many more. Stay healthy both of you and good luck from the Isle of Man.
Mister Me, Mister Boo, Halloween & Elton..who can fotmrget Scooby Doo 😃 The hotel looked very state of the art..lovely sunset you captured ❤ the food looked very good, a tad expensive but like you say it's probably a lot less than most places in St Tropez..Halloween left her mark with another poo 💩 🤪 it's been a very entertaining few episodes with the travel & Mister Boo knows how to pick a hotel...stay well and definitely stay charged 💯👌
Ooh memories! I was in St Tropez in 2005 and I bought a Blanc du Nil linen shirt which lasted 12 years before the collar wore out! My most favourite shirt ever! Lovely place, saw Cilla Black’s motor yacht being polished by the servants.
Thoroughly enjoyed the whole journey, the time you put into the editing comes through in the content and your marvellous choice of music, thank you for taking us along with you. Stay safe and be well, 👍
9:32 Georges Henri Pingusson 32 also known as the Latitude Hotel, opened in 1932. Its modernist design warms my heart although they never did make a commercial success out of it! A classic St Tropez landmark and the architect took full advantage of the views. 18:56 VIP Room Gioia! Everyone famous has been here and I’m sure someone with the right credentials can get in and party there. That said, your Riviera expedition turned out to be anticlimactic. St Tropez looks lifeless and sterile in the winter and you guys came along at the perfect time to have it all to yourself! 😊
What a gorgeous Art Deco hotel, the wife bought a pink camouflage snorkel jacket in Tropez, everyone thinks it must have cost a fortune. It was 15 euros
A fabulous building and great view from the apartment. Fabulous sunset. If ever you're in Morecambe (maybe once Eden North has opened) , pop into the art deco Midland Hotel. I go in there often for afternoon tea. Looking forward to seeing your next trip in Elton.
It's funny how thing change, when I went out there back in 1966 it was normal for men to do their business straight into the road. The view from the hotel window was just like a painting.
Excellent trip St Trop! This was really off-season, been there in May and September but the area is still busy then. 02:33 Maybe he got lost in that big roundabout thing by Port Grimaud and drove around and around until he had to go 🤷♂
Much of the place has kept a lot of French small town charm. Thanks for not only showing the touristic sites 👍 The hotel and especially the views from there looks just great. I'd love to stay there for a trip.. Another beautiful tour with the four musketeers 😉👍👍
Wonderful to see you fellows. I was very interested in that apartment. Was that an AirBNB situation? Also, I was curious to see St. Tropez; I had never seen any videos of it before. Thanks so much.
What a breathtaking beautiful building! Such a, for that period, french design with a lot of Bauhaus and mid century modern influences! Just missing some epic cars on the parkingplace like a Renault Floride, Lamborghini Miura or a SWB Porsche 911 Targa :-)
I follow another vlogger Ame in a van and she was in villefranche sur mer. It looked a beautiful place - have I missed you doing a tour of your home town? I had not seen it before.
Again, a very nice video. Very enjoyable to follow you. Thank you 🙏 Loved your Saint Tropez visit. Did live there… so nice you find l’Olive nice restaurant runned by a real Saint Tropez family. Appreciate your videos, very professional and… You both are very charming people.
Just ordered a T shirt lads …should keep you solvent for a bit 😝💪🏼💪🏼😎👌🏼…last time I was in st tropez was in the early 70’s…… visited for the day….. we were camping at St Maxim.
It appears that one of the unstated benefits of driving an Ami is that because it is so slow compared to other vehicles, you rarely seem to be looking at the back of a car in front (because the have all sped away)! That leaves you with the best view of your surroundings - just don't look in your rear view mirror!
Wow great episode chaps! Thanks for that one. I have always wanted to visit Latitude 43, but not managed to see it yet. There was a little exhibition about Pingusson at the Cite de l'Architecture in Paris about 4 or 5 years ago, otherwise he's rather a forgotten man
@@MeandMonAmi Next time you go to Paris, take 10 minutes to visit his Mémorial des Martyrs de la Déportation on the Ile de la Cite. It's intensely moving
This was a really good one thanks, the big band sound music was great. I have to wait till next week to buy some merch! Btw Tim have you thought about adding your sun cap whatsaname as well? Laurie

Entertaining, interesting, captivating journey. Thanks for letting us sit in the front seat.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Thanks Jack. Yes very good hotel casting!
Extra-glittery Brownie points to Mr Boo for his hotel choice methinks ...
All 3 were great. The first, pink, one was my favourite

L’olive ❤ my favorite restaurant when I live there hundred meters from the restaurant. True tropezien family.
2:41 charming indeed :D
(the background music of the video was charming just like this Latitude 43 building)
We’ve all been there;
Seeing the trees and grass makes me want spring to arrive asap because up here in Minnesota we are under tons of snow and I have a feeling that by the time it all melts it'll be winter again.
I know what you mean. I have always hated winter
That hotel looks like the superstructure of a modern cruise liner has been dumped on the hillside. Very nice though!
"Army and Navy!" 🤣🤣🤣

I love Sunday nights! Takes me away from the freezing weather in Lancashire for a while. Oh how I’d love to be in St Tropez. ❤
