- G'Day guys, a lot has happened since the last upload but the post-delivery testing is still ongoing due to some issues that required MAN to replace a few components that were damaged during shipping.
With the issues rectified, Blue Whale will soon be inducted and operationalized. For now, enjoy the testing of the Rumbler siren which was not done during our Factory Acceptance Test in Austria.
NOW FINALLY, THEY HAVE RUMBLER SIREN IN PHILIPPINES! I HOPE MORE CITIES IN PHILIPPINES HAVE THEM.
Pasig City Barangays (All Barangays, Donated by Mayor Vico Sotto) Have New Fire Trucks That have Rumbler.

Almost ready. Once the training is scheduled and undertaken then the truck will be ready to respond.
Quite frustrating for the damage to have happened but it is what it is and Rosenbauer Philippines and MAN have been on top of it since arrival.

@@enzofromwccg electronics in the cab failed to operate and reset requiring a replacement module to be shipped and replaced by MAN.

So have the issues finally been fixed and is he in service now? Nice btw
Due to the parts that needed to be fixed by MAN, the familirization and training were postponed until after the replacement parts were installed due to safety concerns.
Once the training is scheduled and undertaken then the truck will be ready to respond.

I believe it's from their main MAN logistics hub in the Asia-Pacific
@miko235 fair enough going off how long they have been working on the repairs on the electronics on the truck. From their reports how far are they from done? Just this part that needs to be shipped in or a few other modules?
They're just about done, the Rosenbauer technician will just perform a final troubleshooting on Tuesday to make sure the firefighting systems are sync'd with the chassis systems and we should be able to schedule the trainings and such after.

Its finally here! Ever since the blue whale has arrived, why hasn’t it been responding yet?
There was some damage discovered during the post-delivery inspection. We had to wait for MAN to ship in the replacement parts that were damaged. Now that that has been fixed, the fire fighters and drivers will undergo the needed training that was postponed.
The truck should be ready to respond soon once the training is scheduled and completed.
