😮 Thank you for reading all the way down, you're awesome!
It's really cool to hear Chris talk about the story problems he faced on his films and how he fixed them and the story mistakes of the live action counterparts.
Massively underrated channel
Thank you! Please consider sharing about it on social media :)
This is gold man!! Great interview
Thank you, Chris is amazing and I loved that he wasn't afraid of speaking against things that hurt the animation industry.
it is so interesting to hear explanations of how they build a move step by step and how the ideas come to life from first hand! Great interview😁
Thanks so much for your video and for this hole channel ! It always motivates me to carry on drawing and writting my stories !
I have watched official "Masterclass" videos, and this content is better than anything I saw there.
🥹 I just shared your kind message with my amazing WFA team. It means a lot to us.
As much as i love the version of Bolt that we got from Byron Howard and Chris Williams, i would've still be interested to see what was Sanders' original take as he was the one that pitched the idea first before leaving the project and Disney due to creative differences with John Lasseter
I cannot wait for his new film "The Wild Robot." I read the book and loved it, so I know I'm gonna love the movie.
We also cannot wait. The trailer looks fantastic.
Excellent interview!
Seeing what worked and didn’t in Mulan was mindblowing.
Hope everything related with AI become regulated.
Loved the final recommendations: start by little, learn and keep growing + follow your talent sounds great!

My favourite of your interviews that I've seen yet! It helps that I love a lot of Mr. Sanders work anyway - The Wild Robot is the first time in a while I've been really excited for a new movie! - but he has some amazing insights and great advice here and I find myself agreeing with a lot of what he's saying. Really cool to hear some of these behind-the-scenes stories from Lilo & Stitch, Mulan and HTTYD, too - all among my favourite movies! Thanks for making these interviews public for everyone to watch :D
Okay, correcting myself: I guess The Wild Robot is actually the *second* time in a while that I've been excited for a new movie, I felt the same about The Boy and the Heron earlier this year. Forgot about that one when I wrote the comment though! Still, the point stands that this level of anticipation is a rare thing for me these days ^^
A great man
Sir, how do I format a text conversation in screenplay?
We have a video about the basics of screenplay format here: ruclips.net/video/76vsCSx4180/видео.html
Fantastic interview!
Glad you enjoyed it!
These are Soo helpful!
Legend!! 💫
Yep!!
This is so good
He's great! FYI We have more videos with Chris Sanders.
@@writeforanimation I love your content! I like hearing about how different artists create a story.
Here's a idea. Does the story come first or the dialogue?
In general, story comes first because dialogue needs to serve the story, but an interesting dialogue line could also spark a story idea.
