Traveled the world, been blessed having experienced many wonderful and beautiful places, full of wonderful and beautiful people and their unique cultures: through all my travels I often couldn't wait to return to home....my roots has always been home here in these Islands...It's hard to articulate how much you really appreciate our Island home until you've been away from it for some time. I love our Islands...I love it dearly, I thank God blessing us with an Island home. God bless you all.....
1972 moved to Hawaii Kai got a waitressing job at Chucks Steak House….Olomana were just starting out & would play there a couple of nights a week. Some of the best times of my life. Brings a tear to me eye each time I hear Ku’u Home O Kahalu’u🤙🏼

I grew up in Hawaii. I was in high school when this record came out. Listening to it again all these years later, I have to say, I think it's the best "local" production of its era.
I was primarily news but also did dj work and even did traffic reports for a little while. How are you doing? The last I heard, you were in the Lake Tahoe area.

“Until you find your answers I will wait for you my friend” I’ve carried that line from this song my entire life having grown up on this album back in the 70s. What a great time to have Been Alive with this kind of music. I never realized the “strings” being played in the background- is that a cello??
I lived on Oahu 1972-1980. All the local music from that era makes me so nostalgic. I’ll never get over Hawaii.
