    Win a lottery jackpot. Shut your mouth, quit your job and disappear for awhile.
    Don't TOUCH that money for six months except for basic living expenses.
    If you have spouse and/or family then it's a little more complicated but remaining silent and discreet is key.

      I believe they offer two payouts: lump sum and large payments over a set period of time (which generally is more money). If your making peanuts 13 million is staggering money. The problem is that most people go into spending mode often buying large homes and expensive assets that end up sucking their winnings away. One could never invest any of that money and still live a luxurious life for decades. If I was to win anything like that I'd never tell anyone (except for close family) and keep spending modest so I don't attract the wrong people.

    The basic to all these horrible heartaches is easy and have always been with us from time immemorial. If a man moves into your house with you as a woman, something is wrong. No man worth his salt will move into a woman's house with her. I would die first. People hate these things but, they keep being victims. You know what to look for to find a man and, not all of the males that you've been going for who are shells of a man. Take it or leave it. Not my loss.

      My sister went to high school with him (in northern Illinois) ... he was thin and good looking then ... he sat behind my sister in one class, and, one day, he kept hitting her on the back of the head with a paperback book. When the teacher said, 'Joe, what are you doing?', he laughed and said, 'I'm tryin' ta knock some sense into her!' ... seeing that photo of him standing behind his wife gives me the straight up Creeps.

    The very best thing to do in regards to money is to never tell anyone who doesn’t absolutely need to know your net worth or your income.
    This is a rule my wife and I have followed throughout our 35 year marriage. A few people have hinted around about how much money we have but we never share that information with them. Doing so would only lead to a negative outcome.

    • @selah71
      @selah71 9 месяцев назад +1

      Agree.
      It's no one's business to know your income and assets, including family members.
      Even our kids don't know. Only our attorney knows everything because he drew our will, he has it and we have a copy in a safety deposit box; and he is the named Executor. Everything will be equally divided among our children.
      My grandmother made the mistake of telling her kids her finances and drew up her own will and told where it could be found. Her youngest child got hold of it the day my grandma died, erased all her siblings names and put her name on it to inherit everything, which she did.
      I learned a valuable lesson from that sad situation.
