Don’t know how I’ve missed your house plant tours. Just finished Part 1. No worries, I took a few breaks too. It was nice to see the growth potential of some of your Hoyas and other plants. For example, the Lisa made my jaw drop. So there’s hope for mine too. Thanks for your effort to share them all with us.😊
That was fun. Love your collection so far. Really like your Alocasia plants. My Alocasias never grew that well so I don't have any at the moment. Can't wait to see Part 2.
I love slow growing plants as they fit perfectly on my shelf which only has a 12 foot height. All plants are special and need different attention. I don't ever get rid of plants as a true plant lover loves all types
That's smart to put slow growing plants on a shelf like that. I don't have many super slow growing plants but I tend to get smaller ones for those kind of shelves! They always outgrow it though. Cacti have been intruiging me lately so that may have to be an option 👀
I started this video first thing in the morning and I’m just now finishing its 5:35 PST and I loved it! I was working so I would pause, go back and rewatch! I loved it….wait I said that already! 🤭I can’t wait to see the rest!!!❤️
My Pachira aquatica is braided and has large leaves. It is growing beautifully and I love how it looks. I totally agree with you about hoyas misbehaving! I am definitely someone who cuts and tosses, since I don't want duplicates and there are no local plant swaps. And I don't want to sell (none of my friends are into plants unfortunately). My Manjula and Ring of Fire (got mine as a small plant for $14.99 so they are dropping in price) are a couple of my favorite plants in my collection of just over 100 plants. Down from the 250+ that I had during the pandemic!
Nice that's great! Same I'm right there with ya, I don't even like coordinating pick ups and payments when it comes to selling. I love the manjula and ring of fire! I'm so happy to see the prices lowering - I still can't believe they were ever $200+. Wow you had a lot of plants!! 100 or 150 I feel is such a good sweet spot! I feel like you're able to manage and not be as stressed, but still have plants everywhere and get a jungle feel 😊 that's awesome
We are building a Thai Con Army! My bf ran to Walmart for me when the call came. I had to be at work in 5 minutes and knew they'd bed gone by the time I'd be off. He went with specific instructions to look for stem vargation. He came back with two because he also fell in love with an older more established plant with lots of fenestrations. I wasn't mad for a beautiful specimen of each!! $39.99 @ at our Walmart in Kenosha, WI. Sold out in an hour. Didn't know we had so many planty people around here. I need to be better at connecting to my local community.
Yaaaay that's amazing!!! Brownie points for him he did a good job :') Dino will do the same for me. Love a supportive partner!! Oh yeah girl the midwest - especially MN and WI - has a big plant community! Don't worry I need to do the same lol
Thank you for sharing your lovely plants collection. I love the hoop trellis idea. I am in San Diego and have my Hoyas outside and they are huge hanging under a trellis. The greatest joy of Hoyas is when they flower. Wonder why you are annoyed by the flowers dropping. I look forward to the flowers all the time. Thank you again for sharing.💕💕
I’m jealous! I wish I could have mine outside 🙌🏻 I definitely love the flowers too! Just not the aftermath of the massive mess they leave when they drop😅 that’s mainly for my Hoyas that are continuously flowering though.
Love your collection. Thank you for sharing. PS For the paraiso verde, they love warm temperatures which helps with the variegation. I had the same issue and now the color is absolutely gorgeous.
OMG!! Epic❣️❣️💚🪴my Hoya deykea and pot of gold are still small and over 1 1/2 years old.. what substrate do you have yours in? And what do you fertilize with? This is the first video of yours I’ve seen and I’m obsessed ❣️I had to write you after seeing these Hoyas 😅.. also.. try blasting your paraiso verde with light and humidity.. mine exploded with large beautifully varigated leaves during the summer months 💚
They're both just in a basic soil mix: soil/compost, perlite, orchid bark and possibly charcoal (I get an orchid bark chunky mix that had a bunch of stuff in it). I fertilize every once in a while with DynaGrow Foliage Pro, although I think they got bought out so I'll have to look at what to do once it runs out! Thank you so much for the kind words and paraiso verde tip! 🥰
Thank you! I didn’t think of that for the callistophylla 😄 she’s always been in a tiny pot. Do you know if Hoyas tend to do that when in a small pot and/or root bound?
They’re from modern sprout! 🤗 www.modernsprout.com/PLANTEDPERSONALITIES is my affiliate link. I think they’re actually having a good sale right now with up to 50% off!
Zo prachtig al je planten vooral je hoyas🥰 Mag ik je vragen wat voor potgrond en voeding je aan je hoyas geeft.? Mijn hoyas groeien bijna niet dus heel graag wat informatie Groetjes uit Nederland😊
Aw hello! I’m so jealous, Netherlands is on my bucket list to travel to 🥰 thank you! For Hoyas I make sure to have a well-draining chunky soil mix since their roots are so small and fine. Anything to amend regular soil/compost like coco husk, orchid bark mixes, charcoal, perlite, whatever you can find near you! ☺️ for all my plants I use these things and create a mixture
Hi I'm new to your channel and this is my first time ever seeing one of your videos and I love your content. So I immediately purchased those modern sprouts metal grow shelves using your link. But I was having a hard time hearing the info on those little small plant stands that you have your birken sitting on and the ones that are inside of modern sprouts shelves if you don't mind can you please give me that info again on those stands thank you. I kept rewinding and rewinding trying to here what you said and all I can make out is target😂. I'm getting too old.😊
Hi! Thanks for watching 🥰 welcome! Yes of course haha sorry I feel like I spoke quickly over the little stands. They are from Target! I always check the bullseye/dollar section because often they’ll have small risers like these that I use as mini plant stands. Spring time is usually when I mostly see them but they’re good for any decor. So keep your eye out! Otherwise I bet Amazon you could find all sorts of sizes. I just liked target because I didn’t spend more than $5/each on them 🙂
Your cats don't try to eat the Aglaonema? I know a lot of plants are slightly toxic but I thought that one was more so... my cats eat all my plants so I have to be careful.
I haven't heard if they are MORE toxic, but they are toxic! Yeah many plants are, but no luckily my oldest cat Rory doesn't care about plants at all and the young cat Willow has grown out of her phase of eating everything! She will sometimes go to nibble a plant but usually it's hoyas which are non-toxic thankfully. She likes to play with hoyas leaves and vines.

Thanks for keeping me company as I did my plant chores this morning! Your plant room is actually DREAMY 💚
Aw thank you!! Of course! 💚
Yes, more long Videos awesome !!!
Sounds good! 😅 I always end up making them long haha
I LOVE long videos like this! Stumbled upon your channel trying to find something to watch while doing plant chores and cleaning. Subscribed 🙂
Aw yay I’m so happy to hear that! I’m the same way 🥰 Thank you! 💚
That was fun. Love your collection so far. Really like your Alocasia plants. My Alocasias never grew that well so I don't have any at the moment. Can't wait to see Part 2.
Thank you! 💚 They can be fussy but more often than not they want to stay somewhat moist. They don’t want to dry out much.
Loved your plant room tour can't wait to see more of your beautiful plants ❤
Thank you so much! ❤️

You can definitely cover the stem in that alocasia quite a bit. Thanks for sharing 😊
I thought so! 😄 I also did see someone air layer theirs and then chop. So I may try that too.
Love your collection. Thank you for sharing. PS For the paraiso verde, they love warm temperatures which helps with the variegation. I had the same issue and now the color is absolutely gorgeous.
Ooo that’s a great tip! I should test that theory ☺️ Thank you!

Yep I bet bigger pots for both Calistophylla and Azlanii will help with leggy stems & over-flowering.😊🌱🌿🍃
Thank you! I didn’t think of that for the callistophylla 😄 she’s always been in a tiny pot. Do you know if Hoyas tend to do that when in a small pot and/or root bound?
@@PlantedPersonalities not sure, but it could also be your lighting, making them flower
i like small plants to, i like having the space and watching grow then they get big and i cut back hah
Haha me too! Sometimes I totally chop up the big ones and start over 🙌🏻 easier to manage
ya! i just like to have plants the way i want them, like a bonsai hah@@PlantedPersonalities
The splendid hear you when you said you would chop it and took it upon itself 😭
Yeah no kidding! 😅 It's okay I tend to have a lot of props of that plant for a reason!
