Umshanti Campsite, Swellendam, Western Cape| Campsite Review

Umshanti campsite is situated on a farm just 10 km outside of Swellendam. This cosy camp terrain consists of 6 campsites each equipped with a gazebo, table and braai drum. Each site also has a 3 point electrical outlet and the ablutions consists of 3 unisex bathrooms each with a shower, wash basin and flush toilet. On the premises you will also find a events venue, bar area and a few communal braai areas. If you don't want to camp, there are rooms and chalets as well. The whole camp has a beautiful view of the valley and the dam. Next to the dam there is a sunbathing deck and a gazebo where you can relax next to the water, swim or rent a canoe or kayak. Umshanti is really worth the visit.
