Maybe have mama wear a onesie or surgery recovery suit so she can still spend time with puppies. They are still in their critical socialization period and learn a lot from mom

They are at weaning stage which means mom wouldn't be spending any time with them anyway.

I think you're separating the mom from her pups too early. That's why most breeders don't allow the pups to be adopted before 8 weeks.--and some now stay with the mom for 10, even 12 weeks. Moms teach them many life skills that we know nothing about. Why not just let it happen naturally?

He’s not fully separating them he’s just weening them off … also, some mothers ween their puppies super early . Obviously he’s gonna keep the puppies around mama lol .

The pups aren’t old enough to be fully weaned from mum yet they should still be fed by mum a few times a day
He mentioned in another video that she cant feed them for two weeks before her surgery to get fixed.
@@Itszahia the original comment still stands. You’re not supposed to spay a nursing animal. He definitely could’ve waited until she weaned them herself or at least when they’re 8 weeks old. Again, he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

Idk why you wouldn’t let them be around their mom still? They naturally start the weening process at 6 weeks, mine would always get sick of them at 5 tho but id still make mom sleep with them lol and hangout 🤔

Why wouldn't you let the momma decide when she's done feeding her babies? Seriously asking.
The foster told him to stop because she has a vet appointment and and they said she has to stop two weeks before she goes
Why do you think you know better than nature? You made more work for yourself, had a stressed mother in pain and upset puppies who still need their mother for comfort and socialisation, as well as nutrition-packed food. The mother will wean the babies naturally and this also allows her milk supply to decrease naturally. Ask a breastfeeding (human) mother what it feels like to be so engorged with no relief. Keira's op should not have been scheduled until she had naturally finished feeding.

Very disappointed to see the pups without mom having access to them. They absolutely need their mother right now. Too early for her spay too. I sincerely hope you and the vet reconsider this rush. Those dogs will have behavioral issues! 😢

I love your content but I feel like you separate them a little too early :( They needed a few more weeks with their mama and she needed a few weeks with them.

Everytime my dogs hear your puppies barking... they start panicking. They can't figure out how they can hear baby pups but not find them!
Please let the mamma feed her babies. She will know when it’s time to stop feeding them.

Your vet will probably want to put mom on an antibiotic, a painkiller and something to help dry up her milk. I already named one of the puppies Diamond! Perfect little one on her forehead!

He's only assisting the foster people I think. He doesn't really have a say in what they do. He's just there to take care of the puppies until they're old enough to be adopted.

Wait why did you kick the mom out. That’s so mean. They need to learn a lot from her. My pup was separated from her mom too young and she still has weird problems to this day :/
@@lexihashagen332 he’s going to create all sorts of problems that the new owners will have to deal with and being huskies I expect a lot of these pups will find themselves back in shelters because the owners can’t deal with the problems Joey will have created by rushing them through weaning as fast as he can

You should really not separate them altogether this early, the mom could have been slow weaned, as she would still have to teach the puppies some basic behaviours

@@abileger7922 He doesn't know what he's doing because mother dogs naturally ween their puppies around 6 weeks. When the mother starts snapping at them and running away, that's the weening process. Humans do not need to be involved in that process. He still knows almost nothing and hasn't learned either.
I have to agree. Most breeders recommend keeping the puppies with mom until at least 8 weeks,not just for nursing but they learn alot from mom.

Hi joey, your so lovely, just worried me with toothpaste you use,You need to use fluoride based toothpaste, its so important for your teeth health long term. Also i wondered! If the mumma dog can be with her pups out pen , buti know at the same time,, you dont want them feeding off her anymore, ls it worth putting a dog onesize on her,ones they use for operation recovery to cover up her nipples? Your doing amazing ❤

A warming mat might help her let out some milk, that’s what helped me when I had chest balloons lol!
Idk if she’s a chewer but you could get her one of those water jugs that go in a stuffy to cuddle with to also let out some pressure, usually girls use them for period pains. It would help her with missing her babies too. My rescue cat got a mini weighted bean filled toy to snuggle with bc she had some sort of depression after all her babies went to their homes!

Huskies can be very vocal especially when they get groomed at the groomers so it makes sense that your husky would drive you insane

It’s probably the Benzoyl Peroxide in it. Very good for cleaning out the pores and killing bacteria. Also, the ingredient that bleaches your hair and towels.

@@donnastarpaw Because it's the vet's order. The puppies were born weeks before Joey posted the first video in the series. He's fostered for Wagmore several times.

I just feel sick watching this. Those poor puppies, being outside at night with no shelter to go into and without their mom. You think if you're going to do dog "rescue", you would learn something about moms and their puppies.
