Islamic Museum

Some of Australia's first Muslim immigrants arrived in 1860 with 24 camels for the Burke and Wills expedition. Planning is now well advanced for the establishment of the Islamic Museum of Australia in 2013. Moustafa Fahour, founder of the museum hopes the project will foster community harmony and provide a greater understanding of multiculturalism.
