It's funny how much Mandy's mom looks down on Georgie, considering what a failure her own son is. He makes Georgie look like a rockstar.

Her son is 26 and has never had a job. Georgie has steadily worked since he turned 16. The stupidest thing this show ever did was make Connor quit his job as a busboy. It was the first time Connor ever acted like a grown up. Such a stupid show.

Connor isn’t a failure. He’s not in prison. Penny’s brother went to prison on drug charges. So he’s got him beat.

The Conner story line,isn’t funny.
It’s annoying,and dumb.

They're trying to add the Sheldon character to it but with Georgie it's not needed so while I agree with you it also helps the mom start to see Georgie us a real person
I don’t like his characterization, I like the dynamic with his dad and the general storyline but would rather instead of him being a weirdo friendless freak to instead be a musical and artistic talent. He can have friends, be well spoken but because it’s about art, he still has no job or connection with his dad. It keeps the dynamic from being too one sided because Conner is clearly in the wrong here and is just trying to be another Sheldon which is a bad idea
