Superb insight, this gives immense confidence to my share of gold investments. Recent Small caps do paint very rosy picture. But 50:50 ratio giving amazing returns in long term. Awesome 👍 job
Alok you have done a good job in analyzing the past data, historical data is certainly helpful. Here are my views WRT to small cap investing. I will be happy you are others opinion : India in 2008 and India in 2024 is very different. 1. You will have the data of # of demat accounts and demography. There are so big population of young investors who are having 25-30Yrs runway, where they have the risk appetite. #2 with internet penetration Small cap companies are doing extremely good. They are agile and they have got tremendous advantages - like SAAS platform, cloud computing, digital marketing which is greatly helping them to move at a higher speed. 3.Now we are not heavily dependent on FII. FII's predominantly invest in large caps only. #4 is interest rates. Interest rates are not exorbitantly high like it was in 2011-2014. Now a days, banks are disbursing the loans faster. So for small cap companies, raising the fund is not a challenge as such. So I feel the lull period what we saw between 2009-2015 and 2018-2020 for very long years may not occur. Of course volatility is going to be higher
@@mohan7642 agree. But than probably there could be some other trigger that could cause a correction although it might not be that deep. If FII were that heavily involved in moving the markets and if they invested mainly in Large caps than small caps shouldnt have fallen so much in the first place..
It seems that all fund managers from India are bearish on small cap stocks and suggesting investors to sell the small caps during all their public interactions, Tv interviews.
Sir genuine question: Shouldn't return of 50-50 small+gold always lie between 100% small cap and 100% gold, then why in some of your graphs is it outperforming them. I am new to the channel just wanted to know if you could provide how the data behind the graphs were calculated.
Sir, We believe you are an analyst who can analyze the market better than the average person, and with your market experience, I trusted your suggestions by subscribing to your Smallcase. However, I haven't seen any profit so far, and most of the stocks you recommended aren't performing well. Could you please make a video specifically addressing the stocks you've selected, explaining what's going well and what went wrong, rather than general market videos?
@@AlokJain Sir, I specifically requested a clarity video for your investors instead of a general market overview. I understand you could address both, but it seems my question about what matters most to you struck a chord, as that was the only one you responded to. Interesting!
Hi Alok, that shows why our earlier generations always believe in gold...just a thought could you also do a similar analysis of Large cap, mid cap, small cap (equal proportion) vs Large, mid, small and Gold (equal proportion). Not sure if any of your previous video already has it, pls share the link if it analysis was done previously.

Hi Alokji - the video content is really good. Wanted to check if there is option to invest in Norway stock exchange from India. As i get esop which is listed at Oslo. Would like to buy some more from open market but from India you can only buy US stock but do not see anyoption to buy norway stock. Anything that you can think of and suggest on this
Physical gold seems the most reliable asset to mimick gold prices. ETF’s have some error issues that I have faced. Which is the best company to buy physical gold ?
Sir, please send your analysis to SEBI and ask them to launch new Small + gold index. And AMCs will lauch Small Cap + gold mutual fund schemes after few months.
Gold had picked up after covid if you remove covid picture will be very different. High inflation = high gold prices. Unless we believe we will never go back to low inflation.
Sir, one thing needs to be taken into consideration that small caps that have given very good returns might have moved to midcap and that would had affected the outcome, can we try using the same small cap index stock of 2007 against gold and how much return has it given
Again it's a pentastic knowledge sharing Sir. Thank You very much Sir. You never disappoint me. You always come with a superb idea/knowledge. Once again thank you so much❤❤. Gold Investing, which one will be better, Gold ETF or Gold Bonds or Gold Mutual Fund?
