If she hasn’t frozen her eggs most likely you will need an egg donor or adopt which is such a loving beautiful act. My aunt was adopted from birth and I cannot imagine her or my cousin s not being a part of my life. This was back in 1957 my grandparents were way ahead of their times. They adopted her from my grandfather’s niece the bio mom and her two other children lived with my grandparents before my aunts birth, off topic I know, but it’s a beautiful option. I’m going to be 47 next I’m still having my regular monthy menses, but it doesn’t necessarily mean you can still get pregnant at 55 I would be absolutely shocked if she is still regularly menstruating and with healthy eggs. No shade it’s just biology.
I'm going to be 46. I have one 23 yr old daughter. My boyfriends 50 and has no kids. Would have liked to have a second child. My boyfriend keeps bringing kids up. Been really thinking about giving him one, yet I'm concerned about my age.
I got my wife pregnant at 45 and gave birth to my 8 lb. healthy son. We just kept trying for a little after 4 years after our daughter was born when my wife was over 41 years old. Let me tell you, I told her when I wanted to MARRY her and she said that she was 40 and had given up marriage and REALLY gave up ALL HOPES of getting pregnant and having babies and children. Well I said to her as long as long as I love you and keep making out every chance we got... and always kept our hopes up we had a chance and that we kept praying. Sure nuff...we have two VERY HEALTHY children. A healthy girl and a very healthy boy!!! Life is good and GOD IS GOOD!!!

Its very wise to leave wealth to family instead of starting young with nothing and a deadbeat. We were conditioned by baby boomers to have kids af young afrs when the economy was thriving
NO one is conditioned to have kids! Its a natural process ... and very rewarding to have ppl (family) that loves you when you get old and lonely! You will see... time is merciless

Raising kids has more to do with than age. You need to prove you have enough brains and brawn! Not many of my piblings (aunts and uncles) have addressed that! An aunt of mine who used to be my godmother and her husband are the only piblings of mine who haven’t been such goofy parents!

Sorry. Risk of downs syndrome goes from 1 in 1250 for a 25 year mother to 1 in 100 for a 40 year old mother. Risk increases for older father too, but it never even reaches 1 in 1250. Increased risk of gestational diabetes, pre eclampsia, premature birth, low birth weight and other.medical issues. I don't why a doctor, especially an obgyn, would tell you that there is "nothing to worry about." Saying that could be malpractice. She should know better. Most kids are born healthy. But the odds of problems keep going up with age. If you COULD have your kids in your 20s, why wait to your 40s? Rolling the dice doesn't sound like a good idea, even if you're more likely to be okay. What parent who has a child with medical issues wants a doctor to say "only one kid in a thousand ever gets this. It almost never happens."?
what about the age of the Father? is there any decline as age sets in? I am really close to 40 and I almost think its mother natures way of telling me I am too old for another tour...…. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Yes, over the age of 40 in men, the risk of them fathering an autistic child increases. On the plus side, I've heard that the children they father live long because the telomeres in the genes are longer (!)
Mothers over 40 have a 50 percent higher chance of thier baby being born with autism. Ladies best advice is put the family before carrier and build it while your young beutiful and vibrant. And if your older understand the risks and conaider adaoption as well as child birth if your concerned about the risk.

@@jasminelofton1028 Congratulations. Hopefully there is still hope for me. Good men are hard to find.
Please freeze your eggs! At your age it should work... Try to do it before you hit 36
I'm 52. When we get married, my wife will be around 55. I think we both want to have children.
too late
It's been 2 years since your post. I was just wondering if you did have your second child after all. Thanks.
50 year old "boy"friend...sounds creepy
If you're watching this, good luck!
I’m just 14 haha, but my mom is 40 and I want her to get a baby so I’m trying to help her out
You sound like my daughter 😂
My sister just had her second baby a few days ago. Shes 44 He's perfect. His 18 month old brother is perfect also. Both where IVF. She was very lucky as she didnt have a long drawn out process of ivf
I had a ruptured ectopic at 33. The world works in mysterious ways. I'm just so happy for her and my little nephews.

I'm sorry to hear that danielle. It's so different for everyone. Regardless of everything, keep safe in this scary time.
Naturally?
It will be unfair if I can’t have a child once I reach 40.....if women younger than me can have a child then the hell I can’t have one.....just gotta trust in God and keep it moving
I want to have a baby at 31 years old
Babies are not accessories.
One advice u need like 5mg thats 11x what they recommend of Folate in older age women if u want to prevent chromasomal things like down syndrome. Can't remember what study i read that in. They prescribed it to me for my iron deficiency anyway so its isn't difficult to get a hold of. But theres better forms of folate thats more expensive.
With God all things are possible!! blessings everyone, if you haven't yet repent and accept Christ Jesus as your lord and savior? please do so, before its too late, its not God's will for none to perish.
Im 39 and my boyfriend the father of our son really wants another baby.
Emil Kadd there are many women snd men who are just as lonely with a big family. In fact there even lonelier because they neglected to love themselves first .
There's nothing wrong with having kids early. There isn't anything wrong with waiting, but it's unwise to wait until 40 to start a family.
@@finchborat Unwise ? What about young parents who have no life skills and patience to have kids ? Older parents have life experience
@@MelaniaRose But older parents lack energy, have a massive generation gap with the kids, and the kids will be dealing with massive responsibilities a lot earlier in adulthood.
Amidst caregiving with one parent and doing my part regarding the estate of the other parent a couple of yrs ago, instead of 30, I felt like I was 50. Or even 60.
That's up to God's will
Raising kids has more to do with than age. You need to prove you have enough brains and brawn! Not many of my piblings (aunts and uncles) have addressed that! An aunt of mine who used to be my godmother and her husband are the only piblings of mine who haven’t been such goofy parents!
I’m 26 with PCOS, diagnosed when I was 16. Can I still wait until my mid 40s to have kids? I want to wait as long as possible but I’m worried about the health issues you mentioned in this video.
I don’t eat sugar, i grew up only eating sugar free stuff cuz my mom is a type 1 diabetic! I guess I can wait until my 40s to have kids :)
@@natashac1862 I knew a lady at my bank who told me she had a hard time conceiving when she was younger with her first child she was in her mid to late 20's now she was 47 having her 4th baby so it can happen. It might happen for you.
Why am i watching this when i dont even have a boyfriend?
Hmm, that's a vital part of the equation.
Mothers over 40 have a 50 percent higher chance of thier baby being born with autism.
Ladies best advice is put the family before carrier and build it while your young beutiful and vibrant. And if your older understand the risks and conaider adaoption as well as child birth if your concerned about the risk.
Any woman at any age has the potential risks. Not only autism but physical disabilities even with a young mom.

Basic biology doesn't change and women age more rapidly than men after puberty starts. So 30 usually is too old for most women
True. If a man wants more than one healthy kid, he needs a woman in her early 20s. His age doesn't matter.

Good age for a baby is 25-30 because if you have a baby at 25 ones the baby 18 your be 42 and if you have a baby at 30 ones the baby 18 you be 47
There is no good age to have a baby it's more if are you financial stable. Are you able to in times like today you have to think about that.

@94709 yeah not everyone has it. A lot of people have down syndrome children in their 20s.
People in their 20s go through life and things get in the way. A lot of young parents don’t even have life skills or finances for children ! 40s is relatively still young. It depends on how you look after yourself.

It's mind blowing how you have normalized that the normal thing is to get married and have kids in the TWENTIES. 🤯 Even here in Latin America, it's more and more normal to get married and have kids during the 30s, not 20s!

finchborat how on earth would someone be too old to play with their kids at 40 (up to early 50s)? That just sounds immature, sorry. 40's doesn't mean you no longer run around, play chase or with Legos, dolls, go on holidays, day trips.. What condition do you think people are in at 40!? Lol
@@nnnnn1610 Both my parents were in their early 40s when I was born. They didn't have a whole lot of energy to play with me growing up. My dad has had back and shoulder issues all my life and that limited him as far as interacting with me (always fears he'll throw one of the two out). When playing catch with my mom as a kid, I wasn't allowed to throw the baseball all that hard because it would hurt my mom's hands. The last couple of times we played catch, I had to roll the baseball to her. I always had to watch how much energy I put into my throws.
On several occasions growing up, I heard them complain and tell people that they work so hard during the week, they "barely make it to the weekend." Also, I never saw either one of them run in my life. By the time I was 9, neither one of them could bowl with me.
I'm not being immature. I'm telling it like it is. I'm sorry, not everyone will be like Tom Brady or Drew Brees at 40. Age is more than just a number and my experiences are proof.
