Hi, Is a 'down jacket' necessary if you have a fleece jacket and a rain coat, etc for end of July. Temp would be around 20*C to 25*C during the day.
From evening to early morning it gets cold, that time you will need down jacket.
@@Ankhondekhhi Noted, thanks, will get one then 😄
Which trek agency you guys choose???
We went with Trek the Himalayas
In which month & date u went to do this trek bro ?
We did it on first week on September I guess in 2021.
Can a foreign solo hiker get a permit to do this hike? I don't need a guide.
I don't know, you should check with the authorities beforehand for that.
Hey did you get the permit without a guide?
Where did you get the permit from, Srinagar or sonmarg.
Without guide ja sakte kya
No khale guide nhi hota hai pura group rehta hai weather k b issues hotay hai(Guide+co Guide rehta hai aur helpers)
@@Bhat_Sameer_Suneel acha Bhai kabhi diy trek kiya hai aapne
What were your trek dates? How was your trekking experience with TTH? How many trekkers do they take per batch?
I went from 22nd August to 29th August in 2021. And we were 21 people in a group at that time.
We had a good experience with TTH. They were helpful whenever needed and the food was also good.
Thanks for watching. I hope you liked the video 😇
@@Ankhondekhhi your vlog captured the reality check, which is missing in most KGL vlogs. I see that most of the trekkers are carrying a day pack. Is it difficult to carry our rucksack throughout the trek?
I have already done Chandrashila Trek this April (without offloading). I am going for Tarsar Marsar Trek in August & I plan to carry my own rucksack. If I succeed, I am planning KGL next year. Do you think it's a good plan, or should I try another moderate trek before KGL?
Also, would June last week be a good time for KGL, considering the rains & crowd in both July & Aug?
Thanks in advance🙏
It's as per your preference, I feel, when day 1 ends we get used to the rukshak than after some time it doesn't feel that heavy. Our body gets adjusted to it.
June will be a nice time, you will find more snow patches probably that time, but less flowers will bloom at that time. They will appear in late July and August month I think so.
Yeah sure if you have some trek experience you will definitely be able to do the trek. :)
Tarsar marsar Is a great option. Its landscapes are similar to KGL.
You should stick to your plan don't wait on KGL . This trek is an treat to our eyes once you are ready to go. 😍
And thanks for your feedback. 😇🙏🏼 It really means alot.
Nice Vlog !
Thanx bro 😍
Total cost please and whom we need to connect for camping 🏕️ and how many days before.
My Trekking company booking cost was 14500 rs. Or Srinagar pahuchne ka and wapis Jaane ka ..wo sab isme included nahi h.
I went with trek the Himalayas company. You need to book the trek 2-3 months in advance and can book it on their online portal.
I am making a new video of all the expenses budget for KGL trek. So be sure to subscribe to my channel.
