I was married to a man who was diagnosed late in life with ASD (Asperger's) and it is crazy the similarities I see in the father/son. If my ex was in the same position, I could see him behaving the same way, right down to falling asleep in the interrogation room. If you aren't familiar with it, all you see is odd or potentially guilty behavior. My ex behaved differently (acting as he felt he should act) prior to getting married and over time couldn't keep up the charade. Zero emotion, no matter what the situation, including the death of close family. So, weird to those unfamiliar with someone with those issues, but I would not be surprised if that was the case here.

WOW, poor Cynthia! So sorry for the husband and son to go through this. I knew it was a kid they let in their home. I felt for the father and son feeling shock and denial that someone murdered their wife/mother. My God how horrific!
R.I.P. Cynthia, praying for the father and son to find some sort of peace! 💔💔

I feel sorry for people who state that they "just LOVE people". I do not. i love my husband, children and parents etc but on the whole I do not even like humans on the whole. I adore all non human creatures and trust them implicitly. It must be the worst shock of their life when the human you trust and love so much (even if you only met them a month ago), betrays them or steals from them. I am nearly 60 and have NEVER had anything stolen or been betrayed in my life as I take care who I let into my house and especially my childrens world as they were growing up.
