If you come afross something like this thats in the road but not in the way, hit your hazards and tap your brake lights. also, if you see a semi doing this its because something is going on up ahead, we sit 10 feet above other traffic, we can see the whole road. You might only see traffic flowing but the trucker might see a pileup about to happen. Just flash your hazards a couple times to let people behind you know somethings up. If you really want to help call the police and they will send someone out with cherries and berries to block the road and remove it.
Just finished driving in my 56th snowy winter. Never lost control, never hit another car, never slid through a stop sign nor light. Every snowy clip I think, "slow down, Slow Down, SLOW DOWN." It is obvious to me, in half-a-second, that they are going too fast for the conditions.
It’s never a wise idea to ride right there next to a semi. It is a huge blind spot that can hide entire cars. That being said this is still on the truck driver. Just be cautious about riding on the passenger side of a semi.
As I've been saying recently, these cammers are now doing themselves harm by acting like the very people they are recording. He/she should have easily backed off or changed lanes to the left all together. Not smart behind the wheel, it seems.

Re: Clip #3, @ 0:34 in video - Cammer's vehicle MAY have been 'hidden' behind the left windshield pillar of the other car. Pillars on most modern vehicles are about twice as wide as they used to be, resulting in A LOT more 'blind spot' area. I've had to develop a new driving technique, shifting my body back-and-forth to see AROUND the pillar in certain turning situations (usually left turns in residential neighborhoods).

After this driver made an unsafe maneuver, I responded with an equally unsafe maneuver in speeding and tailgating. Cammer, you weren’t passing that guy in the right lane. Move over. Quit camping and you won’t have to deal with this stuff.
There is no such thing as camping in the middle lane. There is a lane to his left where the guy can pass safely and not do something like what they did. The cammer was doing nothing wrong and the other car had no right to pass them on the right when there was no reason to.
@@krissimons1339 Subaru absolutely changed lanes in the intersection, which is not permitted. Cammer still shouldn't have gone though, but subrogation will likely place some blame on the Subaru driver if they can argue it well enough based on the angle of their vehicle.
@@aaronlewis8948 Well most states I've lived in didn't allow lane changes in intersections, but even if legal it's just a very bad idea to do so especially if there is traffic waiting to turn at the intersection.
