    I like how you put that brother “you might not have enough motor for a whole gear but got just enough for a half a gear” that automatically made me think of the old 425’s with a graveyard load on it

      @@mccormickchainsaw I learned how to drive in a 77 DM 800 with a 300+ with a ol 2 stick trans and 60 bogeys with a 102 wide 102 deep and 24’ long hauling coal off road at Locust Grove to TECO in Hazard KY

    Stupid question can you explain don't unload your driveline?

      So you have to take some pressure off to shift but don’t drop all your torque inexperienced drivers will shock load the driveline and that’s what gets u joints yokes and rear ends

    I realize you are shifting with the jake on without it cutting while upshifting.
    How are you getting that done?
    Not many can do it without resting their foot on the clutch

      My Jake doesn’t cut out with the clutch it’s all in your timing and throttle position

      @@mccormickchainsaw I realize different trucks is setup differently. Some i drove with jake on and i dont let the jake cut in when shifting and other ones the throttle position dont allow you to do it without it cutting in.

      My clutch switch is bad you just barely keep the throttle down it’s easier in an old truck
