I can't recommend any version of vegetarian goulash, but there are 2 additional Hungarian foods that are worth trying, but hard to find, and easier to make. Borsópörkölt (vegetarian stew made with green pea as it's main ingredient, basically spring only food, as you need very fresh green pea, and canned one won't be good), Gombapörkölt (vegetarian stew made with mushrooms as it's main ingredient, mainly autumn food, as you need lots of mushrooms, and canned ones won't be good). Both can be eaten with side dish like pasta, or without. Don't forget to add dollops of (usually cold) sour cream to the plate! ruclips.net/video/RA7CWmcoRkk/видео.htmlsi=AD1DERLR-r4KmNPI ruclips.net/video/wRjThSqnzW8/видео.htmlsi=3aFZt0BpWbuQXMEw (starch is optional, I prefer it without, I don't think it is a traditionally added) I don't know what is halal and what is not, but as I found these can be prepared to be, and are pretty easy.
@@stevepine3568 hi Steve ! Wow !!! Sounds amazing 😋I am excited to try these 2 Hungarian dishes. Thank you so much for sharing it with me. I might travel again to Budapest and if I do come across these 2, will surely update you 👌🏻 in the mean time, I will probably try to make them at home in Doha. Appreciate your suggestions and I look forward for more from you in the future ☺️
Ya Akhi, I like your query 👍 Well, certainly not for all, especially when comes to their non halal main meals. So the sambal comes in handy when i have their vegetarian version of the main meals… and that’s how i get the “ best of both worlds” 😍
Sedaaaaaap delicious. ❤❤❤
You are right, the Halal food in Budapest was so sedap! 😋

Does it always work well to Malaysianise other countries' cuisines ?
