    Thanks for making your videos. Relaxing watching you work because of your layed back style. Also sweet collection of tools and machines.

    Where you left off on this video is where I am, but I'm trying to get it back together. I only took out the one pinion gear, which was the same one you took out. Mine had two teeth broken off. My problem is getting the two gears to line up. I don't know how it was when it worked, because mine, I didn't open until it wasn't working. I found the teeth in the housing with a magnet. I hope you show how you got it all back together. I'm not worried about getting it aligned, I just can't get the gears to jive. Anything you can throw at me, I'd appreciate it.
    Thanks
    Stephen

    Would this work on a model 50 as well? I have one, the steering of which has become almost seized up, and I need to find a way to free it up. Any ideas along these lines?

    Why did you destroy a vintage steering wheel completely unnecessary.

  • @peterevens6463

    should of put the nut on three turns before you put on pullers.

    • @steved6990
      @steved6990 4 года назад

      Yes, use the nut to keep puler center. I removed the same type of steering wheel. Hard job but I didn't have to cut anything. Destroyed what was left of the old wheel but didn't damage the thread or the taper.
