I love Kagernac’s though process: Miner: “Sir, We’ve found the heart of a dead god.” Kagernac: “Hold my sujama and get me a freaking quill! I’ve got an idea!”
OMFG! The Amulet of kings being the blood of Lorkan and not Akatosh makes so much sense; especially if you’re a follower of the last Dragon born is Shor in mortal form theory. The gift of the Thuum was given to men to be free from the rule of dragons, almost every dragon born we can think of in lore is human (Mankar may be an exception) and The dragonborns purpose is specifically to hunt and devour the souls of other Dragons, dragons being the physical representation of Akatosh, the god responsible for Lorkans death. It’s as if he got his ultimate revenge.
Computer Assisted Biologically Augmented Lifeform He was possibly born in high rock in one version, that doesn't make him breton. Also with his name, at Keats one parent is a nord
Lol “He’s a Breton” are you trying to imply that Bretons Arn’t human? They may be of Mer descent but it’s so minor in their bloodline now that it’s basically superficial, then again during his life it may have been stronger. Babychan; You can be any race because it’s an Rpg that doesn’t necessarily mean who you are is canon; the only canon parts of the story are the main quest and faction quests (Not saying they’re all done by a single person but that those factions stories are completed with or without you).
You do see a lot of this in the story of morrowind, not just in the books. Also that's kind of what lore is, the all encompassing backstory to the main story.
Millanstar cause if you dont read the books you wont know jackshit, just like when nords in skyrim spout "Shor's bones, etc". You take the word Shor as a curse but you dont know why it is used in that manner. As is running around dwemer ruins, as is always finding daedra quest around but never receiving quest from the divines, as is all the time mentioning the divines in Skyrim without knowing who what where when why, they are mentioned.
Oscar Rivas he still reads the story and paces them out like a story, while also creating footage and editing said footage to match the stories and info that he found on reddit ??? don’t make it sound so simple lol
Yeah but let’s be honest Kagrenac was really in charge. Like all Tonal Architects, he was very important, but was the foremost master of it, above all other architects. No doubt he had more weight to throw around than even the king.
@@cobaltprime9467 I mean it's stated in lore that dumak had no idea the numidium was being made or what kagrenak was doing with his tools, and he probably didn't even know they had the heart of lorkhan til nerevar brought it up. So for a king dumak really had no knowledge of anything important going on. Sounds like a figurehead only important when they were at war, with kagrenac being the one really in charge, with him being the one everyone went to and had the ability to a hide the literal heart of a god, and the fact that he was building a giant robot the size of red mountain.
Okay, so here's some things I've picked up from deep lore discussions around the web on this topic: 1. The Dwemer succeeded. Sorta. Their souls were transmuted into the gold armor of the Numidium, thus they became one with the god they invented. What exactly this means is unclear. This is based on a forum post by Kirkbride several years ago (yes, I know he is controversial, but it's at least one explanation offered). 2. The "soul" that the heart gave Nirn is... time. Prior to the Heart landing in the earth of Nirn, time was non-linear and had no direction or pace. But a heart beats at a steady pace, thus granting time a rhythm and direction, and linear time. This is really interesting because time is otherwise associated with Akatosh/Auriel, the Dragon God. This isn't the only time Lorkhan and Akatosh seem to have an odd relation with each other, however - like the origin of the Amulet of Kings mentioned in the video. It's possible that the two are just opposite facets of something greater, much like Anu and Padomay once were. Akatosh's role in the ending of the world through Alduin each kalpa (cycle of existance) seems to also tie into this duality - Lorkhan/Shezzar creates the world, Akatosh/Alduin destroys. Or maybe it's more complicated? 3. Lorkhan means "Doom Drum" in Aldmeri, and is probably a reference to his beating heart, and what it means in the worldview of elves. 4. The tools used by Kagrenac are references to tuning devices, as his the title "tonal architect", all references to the rhythm and pitch of the heartbeats. The idea seems to be that the Dwemer were seeking to exploit the Heart's powers by either altering, imitating, or enhancing the Heart's beats.
It's because all of creation in TES is a song, so sound based magics are especially powerful. Every single thing in TES adds it's own part to the Song of creation itself. It's why the Hearbeat is so powerful and Shouts are such a fundamental, divine and powerful force (in theory) because speaking the words literally slips notes into the song of the world. Also makes it pretty damn clear that Dragons are BY FAR the most absurdly bad-ass race in Tamriel.
I don't think the time part is accurate, with all due respect. Its said Auriel, as the first established God of Time, had to set time as an actual thing, and make it Linear, so that the other Et'Ada could actually learn and make something of themselves and understand themselves. So I think the Soul that Nirn has is a divine spark that allows for Mundus to be somewhat more stable, or keep Lorkhan's essence grounded into Nirn in Mundus, so his work couldn't easily be undone. Plus, think about it, we have Talos now, the one who mantled Lorkhan's spot amongst the Divines, and it's after the Heart is essentially "deactivated" by the Nerevarine in Elder Scrolls 3 Morrowind
#4 is excactly right. The dwemer were trying to manipulate the beat of the heart in order to extend their lifespan (+ other side projects i guess). Probably the dwemer-tuned heart also gave them access to a "hive-mind" communication. This can explain i) their extremely fast technological progress, because they shared all the knowledge availiable to their race (i mean the were well pas the 1st industrial revolution nad close to the second), and ii) their sudden and simutaneous death when kagrenac desperately tried to re-tune the heart to change the result of the battle of red mountain (probably the numidium was the end game research tech for the dwemer which wasnt ready, but kagranac, so desperate as he was, gave it a shot). The dwemer were so atuned socially and physically to their telepathetic link that could neither comprehend existance nor withstand living without the heart's beat after generations of its divine magic affecting them. That itself is another crazy story in my opinion about how fraudulent of a god Lorkhan was, letting them to freely play with his heart untill their unintentional suicide.
Nah fuck Talos, Tiber Septim was an asshole and he didn't deserve the divinity. I mean I guess you worship him if you want his support in conquering the whole known world, but other than that it's useless.
Midnight Lemon Dibella's crazy priests in Markarth kind of turned me off to her. Julianos on the other hand is the patron deity of the elder scrolls and hasn't done one dickish thing as far as lore is concerned... I think.

I can't wait to see more of this. Seeing how there's a character in Skyrim who boasts having spoken to the Dwemer (some mage person, forgot who) I believe the Dwemer are either bound to the heart of lorkhan or they're currently in an adjacent space. Eitherway I love this topic and the universe of the Elder Scrolls.
@@packlesswolf1 Fair play man. Thanks for the update, the funny thing about Skyrim is there's always something new unless your basically a devoted Zealot
I think that Kangrenac suceeded in what Aldmer aspire to. With heart of Lorkhan he un-created whole dwemer race and sent them to Aetherius. Also Amulet of Kings being soul gem containing souls of past emperors makes so much sense. Every emperor had access to superhuman levels of wisdom which is probably big part of reason why empire was so successful for so long and why it started falling apart after Oblivion crisis...
Would have been realistic if Vivec didn't straight up say that he cannot sense the present of the Dwemmer , One of the most powerful Gods in all of Aurbis is not capable of sensing the Dwemmer presence . Here is what ACTUALLY happened In Skyrim , a man called Phinis Gestor actually engineered the events of the Downfall of Dwemmer and asked the Dragonborn to help him replicate the Experiment Kragrenac did with the Heart of Lorkhan but on a significantly lower scale . He taps into a soul Gem using precise custom tools , the moment he taps into the soul gem , he gets trapped inside the Dragonborn, so we can assume what happened from here When Kragrenac tapped into the Heart of Lorkhan using The Keening and the other Tools of Kragrenac , the Entire Dwemmer race was trapped inside the Brass God , The Numidium . So The Dwemmer = Phinis Gestor The Tools of Kragrenac = Phinis Gestors tools The Heart of Lorkhan = The Soul Gem The Numidium = The Dragonborn The scale was , of couse , far bigger for the Dwemmer The Heart of Lorkhan is literally higher infinitely Superior to a Soul Gem The Numidium is superior to the Dragonborn The Tools of Kragrenac is superior to the Tools of Phinis Gestos . The Summoning of Dwarven spheres are from normal Dwemmer Ruins rather then the Actual Dwemmer as there is no possible way the Dwemmer Technology went with the Dwemmer The Dwemmer currently are rotting as the Brass Skin of the Brass God of their own creation , They are at the same place as Numidium or whats left of The Numidium . Them turning their backs to the gods and trying to Tapping into Lorkhan's Divine Magic ended up trapping them in The Numidium .
He was a tonal architect working with the heart. I think he may have vibrated the entire race to the same frequency that lorkhana heart was beating at thus achieving Kim and becoming one with lorkhan
@@battlesheep2552 Sithis is Padomay's Soul, and Lorkhan is Sithis' Soul. Lorkhan is a living, sentient organism with thoughts and beliefs, while Padomay is brainless and is just raw energy with no thoughts. Sithis is something in the middle; he's not really a god, but he does have a certain amount of will. But he's not a person either.
As best as I can tell from the extant lore, Kagranac's tools had already been used to tie the entire Dwemer race to the Heart of Lorkhan (in addition to the Heart being set up as their supergolem's power source). Kagranac's act appears to have either severed or activated that connection. Since the Heart of Lorkhan is literally tied to the mortal plane, "activation" would seem to have sucked the Dwemer into Mundus, similar to how ancient spirits became the Earthbones. Conversely, "severed" would indicate they were all simply cut free from Mundus - and if that were undirected, they would have either all gone "zero-sum" or been "ejected" from Mundus entirely. The latter would suggest they were scattered across Oblivion and/or the Aetherius, but there would likely have been some trace of them showing up over the last few thousand years, other than the one guy who was already IN the Outer Planes at the time. So I'm thinking either they zero-summed or became a new set of Earthbones. Either way, sucks to be them.
If they Zero-Summed, the entire dwarven race would have been completely erased from time itself; they never would have existed in the first place. There would be no evidence, no books, no ruins, no armor, no caves, NOTHING. That's the paradox of Zero-Summing; everyone that does it, is completely erased from ALL of history IMMEDIATELY.
shore bones hmm that explain why the nords use that sentence i guess if you want to expand on lorkhan go for the men version next leading to the nords and sovngarde the nordic pantheon rules
Arguably, tampering with the Heart worked out fine for Vivec. He became a living god, achieved Chim, and then likely ascended to become the Dreamer for a new dimension.
Lorkhan is my favourite entity in the Elder Scrolls universe, so this was very interesting to watch, and the visuals/music were really beautiful as well!
In tes 6,I hope that you can’t control your werebeast transformations until you do a certain mission,I think that’d be cool and add to the role playing experience and immersion, and if someone doesn’t like not controlling when they transform, they can just complete the quest
Was listening to a book about Tantra which is a mystical system of practice from India which is what some elements of Dunmer lore in Morrowind seem to be based on. The narrator said that one of the terms for god in the Tantric tradition was "the heart" not because it's like a physical organ or because the heart is the seat of emotions but because the heart is at the center and the core of all things. The supreme god is therefor the heart of the world. I was thinking about that and thinking about the heart of Nirn and thought I would share that thought with you. The audiobook I was listening to was Tantra Illuminated by Christopher D. Wallis.
i actualy beleive that the dwemer wanted the same as the aldmer, to ascend to godhood, but instead of running around destroying the towers, they did through the heart of lorkhan, tapping into the godly power still clear in the heart, activated the heart and at the same time regianed their godhood
A very complete lore video about Lorkhan, the Missing God. I would have added that the heart of Lorkhan is litteraly his divine essence, and by ripping it from his chest, the Aedra (and not the Magna-Ge, they had already fled back to Aetherius) actually severed Lorkhan from his divine spark, and he lost his nature as a god. That's why very few mortals actually worship him or even know about him, despite his central role in the creation of Mundus : he doesn't exist as a god anymore, but more as a "ghost", a part of Nirn. His vacant place in the pantheon (hence his title : the Missing God) allowed Talos to rise as God of the Mortals, but that's a much more complicated story.
I was under the impression that Magnus and the Magna-G (whatever the spelling) left while creation was being created and were not present at the Tower (their escape back to the aetherius is what created the sun and stars). Anyone at the tower was stuck there (well, ignoring a few who soon after, relatively speaking, or later ascended).
Actually you were right, Magnus and the Magna-Ge did left BEFORE the Convention happened at the Adamantine Tower. That's just one of the two little mistakes he did, everything else is completely accurate.
My take is that all the dwemers became one with their god means that they were hidden. Not into another plane of oblivion but rather in a moment of time. They may exist in the middle of an action/sequence. Such as in between the last heartbeats of lorkhan. Something like that.
If you were somehow able to take the heart of lorkahn and put his corps back together, could lorkahn then be resurrected? Also if you did this, would it be blasphemy to the gods and magne ge and what would happen to the Khajit?
He has sort of returned in the past, for example, to help the Nords to fight the over the heart of Shor. He still holds power, he just prefers to rule over Sovngarde and guard/watch over Nirn.
@@saudade7842 He appeared to help the Nedes in their fight against the Elves in the Merethic Era fighting the Ayleids on Humanity behalf but he vanished for unknown reasons, presumably to help other humans elsewhere and without him, the Ayleids conquered the Humans and enslaved them. Prodigy Gamer im pretty sure that cant be, mainly because you cant be made of 2 gods at the same time, so the hero of kvatch is out once he mantled sheogorath since a piece of a god shouldnt be able to mantle another god, and the dragonborn cant be since they are a piece of akatosh, nereverine might be though
OXOTNHK aka D3ath Patr0l True on the Hero of Kvatch or maybe Sheogorath overpowered shezzar during the mantling and for the dragonborn I dunno I feel like due to Shor not being at sovngarde and that you can sit in his throne i feel like he is a reincarnation of shor
Prodigy Gamer i always assumed you can sit on his throne because you are a piece of akatosh who is the god of gods , its like the king of england going to a dukes castle, would someone stop the king from sitting on the dukes throne, and the shezzerine not being in sovngard could be because many reasons, such as his reincarnation walking tamriel at the time or they havent been reincarnated yet, or they are fighting in a plane of oblivion as one of the previous main characters, though of all characters i feel the nerevarine is probably most likely for a few reasons, mainly the fact that their whole story circled around lorkhan and them still being alive fighting across nirn is known as fact which would explain not being in sovngard as well as being the only "immortal" character not related to dragonborn or any gods and is already a reincarnation
You and Camelworks should do a video together. Maybe some sort of debate about TES lore interpretation or something, idk. Would be cool though, y'all kind of dominate this space in terms of quality imo
I have a theory! Akatosh is the dragon god of time, and Shor is the serpent god of un-time! Just shortly after his death, time became more linear. Every time the Numidium is activated, dragonbreaks happen. The dragonborn himself, ( if he’s a shezzarine ) could explain why he is such a counter of dragons ( aka the sons of Akatosh ). The Tribunal also could devide their their power to protect Morrowind from the dragonbreak. Maybe he was the one to give Alessia the “dragon blood”, it could explain why humans and elves hated each other, the “one” was Lorkhan, the dead god. The dwemer may be in their own “dwemerbreak” and caused a timeline shift like the Yokudans did, by using untime and went to a timeline where they are still et’Ada. Maybe they became the serpent constellation by escaping mundus through oblivion like the magna-ge, maybe the serpent is Lorkhan’s soul. This all seems plausible, but has some holes in it. Like, why would Akatosh be the one helping to defeat Mehrunes Dagon if the amulet is from Shor’s blood? Why would he be connected to the dragonborns if they don’t have his blood? Then again, he is the *trickster* god and could just appear like him and trick the mortals. For what? I don’t know, maybe launching his heart to the twin moons to revive maybe?
The_Drop Bear I don’t remember reading that, prob. forgot. And dragons can’t absorb dragon souls. Otherwise, all dragons opposing to Alduin would be dead forever, Paarthurnaax is an example. Lorkhan didn’t invent space, it was always there. They lived in the Void, a timeless mass split in two areas called Anu and Padomai. In the middle and around them was a place ruled by none of the primary forces. Lorkhan is a serpent, a dragon-like creature, probably looking like an asian dragon.
Zakaria Sithis is the god of the void and the father of lorkhan. Dragons and the dragonborn are the only beings in the entire tes universe that can absorb the fallen (dragons/shards of time/Aka). Paarthurnaax was never slain by Alduin and even if he were Alduin is still considered unique amongst dragons and have the ability to resurrect the fallen. Bro, did you played the game?
LogicxX PhantomXx I did, multiple times. But, Sithis is not a god of the Void, but an entity, he was the son of Anu or PSJJ like the elves call him, and existed after the void. The reason why Alduin is capable of doing that is because he was speaking, aka using Thu’um. The Thu’um is an unlimited power that alter the fabric of reality, especially coming from Alduin. He just gave them souls he made on the spot. Also he says tiid while reviving them, the word for time, probably making time go backwards and reviving them that way. But dragons don’t absorb dragon souls, they are immortal until the dragonborn eats their soul. That’s why the blades don’t use other dragons to hunt dragons, they can’t do that.
Zakaria Dragons can absorb dragon souls it's just not portrayed in the actual game (due to dragons being part of the same faction. Like how a stormcloak won't attack another stormcloak. Game mechanics). The grey beards clearly states this when you ask them about dragon. It's lore. Sithis is the god of the void, an aspect of space. I won't debate you on the thu'um because you're completely correct however alduin did not create new souls, he resurrected the fallen dragons. Example of this is when you go to kyne grove with delphine and fight the dragon that alduin resurrected. The dragon states how defiant mortals become since he "slept". A new soul would not know of the past. Dragons were sleep because there were no Dragonborn to absorb them and the only way that they can die is if they're absorbed by a dragon (which is rare. I assume dragons only absorb other dragons that they've personally slain and not those that were knocked to sleep by mortals). The Dovahkiin is literally a dragon wrapped in flesh and the reason for this is for him to have two natures, mortality (flesh) and immortality (dragon soul), a bridge. The reason he absorb every dragon he gaze upon is because of his mortality (The will to survive and grow). It's not such a big deal to dragons because they're already one with the Thu'um and already immortal unless slain by a dragon. I like your theory though. Would be badass if Lorkhan did turned out to be a serpent and actually turned out to be the true father of the dragonborn kind. Who knows, he is the Loki of this universe after all.
Anybody else suspect that the Dragonborn is meant to be an incarnation of Lorkhan? I came to this conclusion when playing the Dragonborn DLC for Skyrim, and taking a close look at Miraak. The lore says that he did not try to defeat Alduin when the World-Eater first appeared in the Merethic Era and instead left the old Nord heroes to get asswhipped. This doesn't really make a lot of sense to me. Even if Miraak didn't care about anyone else, you'd think he would at least try to stop Alduin to protect his own existence. The only explanation I can think of is that his existence was never in danger from the World-Eater to being with. Maybe somehow he realized he was a god (through Hermaeus Mora, perhaps?) and just wanted to see what would happen if Alduin devoured everything.
@@SophiaAstatine Tsun might not say anything about it also, to avoid making the Dragonborn overconfident and a danger to Nirn like Miraak had been. But of course this is just theory.
I was often wondering... when the Dwemer were so suffisticated as craftsmen, would theyr buildings and everyday items slowly dissolve into dust over the centuries... or is all the dust in theyr citys eventually theyr bodys, that where desintegrated when the heart of Lorkan was tapped by the instruments of Kagrenac? Beware of "spoilers" below: And... is the theory actually valid, that theyr souls became the golden skin of the brass tower "Numidium" when they became totally aware of the fact, that they were all just a part of the dream in the god head?
HOW HAS NOBODY TALKED ABOUT THAT THE AMULET MENTIONED AT 6:45 WITH SHEZZAR'S BLOOD IS THE BLOOD SOAKED DIAMOND THAT IS PELINAL WHITESTRAKE'S HEART, AND WHAT HE WAS IN VISIONS FROM THE DIVINE? This basically confirms the theory that Pelinal was Lorkhan, right???
@Aurelius Philosopher's stone is a recurring term in mysticism and folklore, Harry Potter didn't "invent" the idea of alchemy. Neither did FMA for that matter.

@@arawn1061 Because Lorhkhan wasn't a Daedra. He was closer to an Aedra. He understood things others didn't. He had the Aedra create Nirn so we could ascend.
@@arawn1061 ??? That's literally the creation cycle of TES universe as a whole, and it's a pretty well established fact. You can either read off the wiki or dig through lore books in the game yourself, Elven or not. The only point of contrition or theological friction is how the various races and cultures interpret it. High Elves (I assume wood elves too) see him badly because in their eyes he took godhood from them. Most races of men worship or respect him in some way because he's the reason they get to live. Dunmer ironically respect him because he's the reason they may be tested. Beastmen, it ain't clear. Khajiit like Alkosh (their version of Akatosh) while Argonians honor the Hist Trees (who are connected to Sithis). Padomay is change and Chaos, Anu is stasis and Order, morality, good or evil, right and wrong ECT doesn't even begin to show up as concepts until MUCH, MUCH later, (through Mortal Lenses) so there aren't "good" and "bad" sides. Padomay and Anu are essentially concepts opposed to one another, and from them the Universe simply is. Padomay is the opposite of Anu. His spirit, Sithis, is the counterpart to Anui-el. And Sithis' spirit is Lorkhan, the counterpart to Auriel (or Akatosh), spirit of Anui-el. For all intents and purposes, Daedra and Aedra are the same thing in a vacuum, and are all et'Ada (Original Spirits). The only major differences being that 1 Aedra are composite born from the blood (or essence) of Both Anu and Padomay while the Daedra are "purely" made up of the Blood of Padomay. The only "pure" Anu beings out there are the Magna Ge (two whole other cans of worms). 2 Aedra (elvish for Our Ancestors) gave up some of their power to create Nirn and the Daedra (not our ancestors) basically laughed at the idea and kept their power. It's why Daedra are overall stronger than Aedra, but have little hold on Nirn since they didn't give any of their selves to make it in the first place. Sithis is still basically the "father" of the Daedra and Lorkhan was the greatest among them (though you could say he's not a Daedra anymore, but ironically the greatest of the most selfless and devoted of the Aedra since he literally gave up ALL of himself for Nirn), much like Akatosh is the greatest among the "Anu" side of first spirits. Both are unique in their respective "sides" since they hold or held such a disproportionate amount of power compared to their siblings. In fact the Void a realm of nothingness is where Daedric Princes are Birthed (it also explains their titles, as Sithis is "king" and the Princes would theoretically be next in line, if order of succession is a thing). Though all this birth of Gods is kind of weird and self contradicting since Meridia was supposedly once a Magna Ge and Mehrunes Dagon was supposedly CREATED by the Magna Ge, and Trinimac became a Daedric Prince. This suggests that Gods might not be able to die, but they can sure as hell be corrupted, and that the whole "purity" is kind of an illusion. Which makes a lot of sense given the fact that all these God beings live within the Universe (Aurbis) and/or the Void and said realities are only possible because of Padomay and Anu's conflict, hence outside of those two, no being or "thing" is truly wholly one thing, merely a composite of things.
@@DioBrando-mr5xs Lorkhan aka Shezarr was a Aedra, he and the other et'Ada created the Mortal plane of Mundus, that's what an Aedra is and why it means "Our ancestors".

The_Drop Bear yes he did. Not by choice and hes not the same as lorkhan but he most definitely took lorkhans spot in oblivion. They are both tricksters afterall
Shor is the only god in the game that matters to me. He made this world so that people could better themselves. Before Nirn there was nothing but stagnation, nothing happening or changing. Our boy Shor is the father that wants his children to learn, grow, and one day maybe even surpass him. Also if you're a cool Nord you get to hang out at his house forever!
My theory: Kagranac activated Numidium successfully, causing a dragon break, upon touching the heart, Lorkhan spoke to him through the heart and overcame his will, taking control of him and the Numidium, directly controlled by the heart and the god, the Numidium destroyed every last Dwemer, yet none remember the events past the activation, as the events happened concurrently and simultaneously, and collapsed into a single truth once done, the dragon mended, the Dwemer where gone, and the Numidium rested, and the heart lay bare for the false gods to claim.
Just figured it out. Daggerfall - Adamantine Tower Morrowind - Red Tower Oblivion - Ivory Tower Skyrim - White Tower .......ES6? Valenwood - Green Tower. Were gonna stop the Thalmor from destroying the Tower in Valenwood, maybe 10 years from Skyrim?

I always thought the dunmer sort of revered lorkhan. I mean, boethia's a huge simp for lorkhan so much that she eated a trinemac and shidded a malacath cause he was talkin smack about her man.
So Lorkhan is with his siblings as planets because his body became part of Nirn and their bodies became part of the planets orbiting Nirn. In the Imperial Pantheon, they're represented by the planets.
I've always found Lorkhan(or Shor) to be a fascinating subject because I have found so little in-game material pertaining to him. I feel like the race of Men see him the same the Cimmerians view Crom in Conan the Barbarian.

Kagernac: “Hold my sujama and get me a freaking quill! I’ve got an idea!”
The Void Looks Pretty Sujama is an elven drink, not dwarven
In The Elder Scrolls Dwarfs are a kin of Elves.
Rick West that may be so but Sujama is a dark elf drink, to be more specific
At that point, Dunmer and Dwemer were rather agreeable, if I recall, so its not a stretch to say a dwemer might get some dunmer drink.
Straight White Knight so the High elves were the Nazis?
It’s as if he got his ultimate revenge.
skelitonking117 Tiber Septim was Dragonborn and he was a breton.

Man the lore in Elder Scrolls is insane. Too bad we dont see it come through in the series. Just mostly in books and short un-eventful quests.

I mean... This is mostly just straight up morrowind, isn't it?
The part of the heart and the council is from Morrowind game, the rest is from all the other games Oblivion and Skyrim
You do see a lot of this in the story of morrowind, not just in the books. Also that's kind of what lore is, the all encompassing backstory to the main story.
and how are those books and quest not seen on the series?...

@@draco107 no. Just lazy research.

Ah, I love it when Fudgemuppet or Camelworks updates! Great work.
camelworks ahh Great Scot I know his voice from somewhere :)) !

Okay, so here's some things I've picked up from deep lore discussions around the web on this topic:
So if you imitate the heart with the same, steady heartbeat, you could imitate some kind of nirn.
Like sethi did. Or at least tried to.
Genius. Absolutely genius, fantastic (:
(IDK if it’s true, but cool theory none the less)
That Jeremy Soule track brings back so many memories

The drum beat at the start of the Morrowind is the beating of Lorkhan’s heart.
One important note I'm surprised wasnt mentioned here: the substance of Ebony, by some accounts, is literally the crystalized blood of Lorkhan.
Here is what ACTUALLY happened
In Skyrim , a man called Phinis Gestor actually engineered the events of the Downfall of Dwemmer and asked the Dragonborn to help him replicate the Experiment Kragrenac did with the Heart of Lorkhan but on a significantly lower scale . He taps into a soul Gem using precise custom tools , the moment he taps into the soul gem , he gets trapped inside the Dragonborn, so we can assume what happened from here
When Kragrenac tapped into the Heart of Lorkhan using The Keening and the other Tools of Kragrenac , the Entire Dwemmer race was trapped inside the Brass God , The Numidium .
So
The Dwemmer = Phinis Gestor
The Tools of Kragrenac = Phinis Gestors tools
The Heart of Lorkhan = The Soul Gem
The Numidium = The Dragonborn
The scale was , of couse , far bigger for the Dwemmer
The Heart of Lorkhan is literally higher infinitely Superior to a Soul Gem
The Numidium is superior to the Dragonborn
The Tools of Kragrenac is superior to the Tools of Phinis Gestos .
The Summoning of Dwarven spheres are from normal Dwemmer Ruins rather then the Actual Dwemmer as there is no possible way the Dwemmer Technology went with the Dwemmer
The Dwemmer currently are rotting as the Brass Skin of the Brass God of their own creation , They are at the same place as Numidium or whats left of The Numidium .

Sithis is something in the middle; he's not really a god, but he does have a certain amount of will. But he's not a person either.
@@Alizudo So this is the Heart of the Soul of the Soul of Padomai?

Wallis.
Lorkhan is my favorite being!
Can you do a powerscaling video on how powerful the Daedric Princes are?
i actualy beleive that the dwemer wanted the same as the aldmer, to ascend to godhood, but instead of running around destroying the towers, they did through the heart of lorkhan, tapping into the godly power still clear in the heart, activated the heart and at the same time regianed their godhood
"And there you have it, guys!"
No! NO Drew, I do NOT have it! TELL ME MORE!

All of Nirn knows where it lies, but only the Dwemer put in the effort to find it. Just sad. 😅

I feel like all the protagonists of the elder scrolls games are shezzarines
Nerevarine is still alive though (immortal due to corprus) so that could be why Shor isn't there.
Ch35h1r3C47 that was my thought as a possibility since nerevarine is also already a reincarnation

Brilliant content boys.
Zakaria
The dragonborn is a counter to dragons because he is a dragon, an only dragons can absorb dragons.
Also Lorkhan is the god of space
The_Drop Bear
I don’t remember reading that, prob.
LogicxX PhantomXx
I did, multiple times.

I think the Nerevarine prophecy is on a downward spiral and now Dagoth has lost it completely.
An elder scrolls game set in the dwemer golden age would be amazing
If done well
And it's not going to happen
@@Alizudo sadly 🙁 Bethesda doesn't like to spoil us
spent a while looking so, the background track at the beginning is "Auriel's ascension" from Oblivion
I think Tsun would recognise it. Besides, I doubt we have a proper view on what the aedra want to do or are doing. But the possibility is there!
@@SophiaAstatine Tsun might not say anything about it also, to avoid making the Dragonborn overconfident and a danger to Nirn like Miraak had been. But of course this is just theory.
9:30 not a picture of Kagrenac.
Beware of "spoilers" below:
And... is the theory actually valid, that theyr souls became the golden skin of the brass tower "Numidium" when they became totally aware of the fact, that they were all just a part of the dream in the god head?
HOW HAS NOBODY TALKED ABOUT THAT THE AMULET MENTIONED AT 6:45 WITH SHEZZAR'S BLOOD IS THE BLOOD SOAKED DIAMOND THAT IS PELINAL WHITESTRAKE'S HEART, AND WHAT HE WAS IN VISIONS FROM THE DIVINE? This basically confirms the theory that Pelinal was Lorkhan, right???
Shezarr's blood? Yes Pelinal was Lorkhan, that's a Shezarrine.
What if Lorkans heart = philosophers stone
AssasinArsenal47
Ew hell no lol, I was thinking more like Fullmetal Alchemist type of philosophers stone
No
@Aurelius Philosopher's stone is a recurring term in mysticism and folklore, Harry Potter didn't "invent" the idea of alchemy.
Neither did FMA for that matter.
In a way you aren't wrong, though if we're going by the FMA terms it's the one and ONLY "perfect" one.
Immortal Life? Check
Reality altering powers? Check
Madness inducing/has some seriously fucked up origins and can taint people? Check that 6 times.
With so many mods I'm surprised that no one has made a mod that lets you re visit the heart of Lorcan .
Shor is actually the spirit of Sithis, not padomay. Sithis also is the spirit of padomay.
SAANE 53 what proof do you have? Any elven sources are invalid.
The only major differences being that
1
Aedra are composite born from the blood (or essence) of Both Anu and Padomay while the Daedra are "purely" made up of the Blood of Padomay. The only "pure" Anu beings out there are the Magna Ge (two whole other cans of worms).
2
Aedra (elvish for Our Ancestors) gave up some of their power to create Nirn and the Daedra (not our ancestors) basically laughed at the idea and kept their power.
What about jyjalag i know the dedra are obsetensivly all aligned with padomy but that doesn't really fit with his god of order thing
@@DioBrando-mr5xs Lorkhan aka Shezarr was a Aedra, he and the other et'Ada created the Mortal plane of Mundus, that's what an Aedra is and why it means "Our ancestors".
What of kagranac jumped his whole race into the future
If dragonborn is shore and shore is lorkhan, and lorkhan is from sithis, then dragonborn is in some way sithis?
Well you are the listener of the Dark Brotherhood.
I know it doesn't have much to do with it but still.
The Dragonborn isn't Sithis, the Dragonborn is an aspect of Shezarr, the Hero of Kvatch is also an aspect of Shezarr.
i loved it and have a lore point i really want you to talk about alduin befor the events of skyrim
fudgemuppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet notice meeeeeeeeeee
Great lore about him. Thanks for your videos
I was the first viewer and like I love your vids
Very much enjoyed. Even learned a new thing, I didn’t know Lorkhan’s corpse was the moons 👍🏼
Lorkhan's corpse is NOT the moons, Nirn itself is Lorkhan's body.
Lesson of the day: Hate Lorkhan, love the Gods, subscribe to FudgeMuppet
WHAT?! NoNoNo, hate the gods, love lorkhan! You crazy, without the son of Sithis we wouldn't have Nirn to adventure in! Also sheogorath mantled his throne when he got kicked out, who is arguably the most powerful daedric lord, yet I'm sure even he's got nothing on the left handed god
Man Hei Li Lesson of life, love Lorkhan and respect the gods.
N Harwood
Sheo didn't mantle Lorkhan
The_Drop Bear yes he did. Not by choice and hes not the same as lorkhan but he most definitely took lorkhans spot in oblivion. They are both tricksters afterall
No. Praise Shor and strive to better your live, maybe even achieving enlightenment. Then subscribe.
No offense to Scott, but I like Drews and Michaels voices more than Scotts voice. Scott is too energetic for this type of video.
#lorkhandindunuffin5e
He did a lot, thankfully.
The Dwemer disappeared because of the tools. It is like in the college of winterhold quest.
Just figured it out.
Daggerfall - Adamantine Tower
Morrowind - Red Tower
Oblivion - Ivory Tower
Skyrim - White Tower
.......ES6?
Valenwood - Green Tower.
Were gonna stop the Thalmor from destroying the Tower in Valenwood, maybe 10 years from Skyrim?
You should cover some other specific artefacts. Maybe the Cowl of Nocturnal, or the Spear of Bitter Mercy. Or you could cover...THE WABBAJACK! Eh? EH??? Didn't see that one coming, did ya?
Dwmers went to atherius, as well as Vivic. After soth a sil and amalexia were dead, vivic went back to red mountain and used the tool and he too went to atherius
The Dunmer do revere Lorkhan.
I've always found Lorkhan(or Shor) to be a fascinating subject because I have found so little in-game material pertaining to him. I feel like the race of Men see him the same the Cimmerians view Crom in Conan the Barbarian.
Which race first of all?
Yes! Keep doing Deep Lore on the T.E.S!!! It's so thought provoking, what with the God-head and Dagoth Urs plan to usurp the dreamer. Keep it up please!
Keep Kirkbride's garbage out of TES
