Another special treat. I never heard NOB song by Andy he did the song great, loved the Bread song he did. Knowing how much he is missed by His fans let's you know he is still muchly loved. Trevor, you were very blessed and fortunate to have known and worked with Andy. Your band sounds great. Much love, stay safe and healthy, God bless.
@@TrevorNortondrummer Hi Trevor, Maurie said one of his favorite memories was in the Spirits Having Flowen concert in 1979, all four brothers were on stage together singing and he mentions seeing the excitement in Andy's face, the energy with the audience and the music was thrilling. If I may ask do you have a favorite memory with Andy you can share, I would love to hear it. Thank you for taking time out of your day to reply I sincerely appreciate it more than I could explain. I love all the brothers Gibb and the music they have given us, they are phenomenal. Much love, stay safe and healthy, God bless you.
Talented Andy I had no idea that he had his own band but in a business that is so cut throat and cruel he was always was compared to his brother's in interviews they always mentioned the Begees to Andy I think that along with the way he was raised got him to take drugs and sent him to an early grave I loved him someone like Andy will always be unforgettable 😉
Andy Gibb una corta vida... 💛 pero nos dejó todo su talento en cada trabajo ❤. Sigues vivo en él corazón ❤ de tus fans . Y en él de las nuevas generaciones... Un cantante atemporal. I love forever 💕
Andy started out so well. He should have continued a little on the metal side and collaborated with the Bee Gees letting Barry manage him. He would probably still be alive 😢
Thanks for sharing, it sounds great and one of my favorite Bee Gee songs. Very cool pic, looks like Andy's hair was longer and love the rockin' sound. Can you tell us, what type of cover songs/music Andy was into? Did he like AC/DC, Rainbow, Sweet, hard rock? I'm curious because I read somewhere that he did not like doing so many love songs.
@@TrevorNortondrummer Thank you Trevor for the info! I read Andy got to open for "Sweet" during the shows you did with him? I love Sweet. What did Andy think of them?
@@Badfingerbabe777 I read in several interviews with Andy that were made in the US in the end of the 70ies, that he especially liked the music style of the Eagles and Don McLean. Joe Walsh of the Eagles played on one or two tracks on one of Andy´s albums and he was much admired by Andy. Hope this helps a bit.
@@joachimjust7819 Hi thanks for the info. I think I remember in a Teen Beat story Andy saying he liked The Eagles Wings and Eric Clapton . I know his nephew Stephen became a heavy metal fan and played in a metal band. I wonder if Andy liked the metal bands that were out at the time. Stephen mentioned seeing Van Halen.
@@Badfingerbabe777 Hi! Well, Andy said in an interview he made after his 1st album, that his 2nd one would be more R&B and Latin, than resemble the Beegee´s sound. So he liked that, and the Bside of Shadow Dancing no doubt bears this own stamp. That said, and listening to his own works that he wrote in Oz and performed with Zenta, and to his first album Flowing Rivers, with it´s melodious country influenced pop, I´d just guess he wasn´t into heavy metal. But the sound of Zenta was nevertheless kinda rough and his voice absolutely brilliant to that tougher sound! And their "Nights on Broadway" cover, I find outshines the original version.
Amen. So sad when people do that. My other old phone automatically downloaded video I would watch. But went into your favor because you had lost the video. Of the Bread number yall did.
Trevor Norton thanks Trev! I bet one gal in particular has already put her USB drive and has downloaded them already. You had issues with her in the past. Even called her out by name
Thank you for sharing. Sounds fantastic! I visited Andy's final resting place at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills on September 1, 2020. So he was not alone on that day, which I disvovered later was Barry & Linda's 50th Anniversary. Cheers.
Here Andy was only 17 and WOW what a voice!
