@Alexandra Strambu Thanks for sharing this video, Alexandra :-) Just one question/observation: I see you enlarging a picture from about 1500 pixels to 9000 pixels and leaving the DPI at 72. Now, I don't know if you just did that as an upload example, but blowing up fairly low-res pics make for a very unsharp result when printed. 9000 pixels are good for most products on RB, but the DPI needs to be at 300, the original pic should already be high-res and saved with a CMYK color profile. Then change it back to RGB, before you upload it as a PNG. You probably already know all that, but it'll maybe a little bit of help for your viewers ;-)
How do you start with a high resolution photo to start with? I have some great photos I'd love to use but they have low pixels and I don't want to stretch them
@@jadez7802 If the original is a certain size, enlarging it will always produce a less crisp image. If you only want to enlarge it a little bit, in Photoshop there's a setting (when you resize the image) called Bicubic. That only diminishes the pixelation slightly, but maybe just enough. You can basically start with a high resolution photo if the photo was taken in high resolution. I, myself, have lots of interesting photo's that I wish were taken at a higher resolution, but they are not. Blowing them up to a 9000 x 9000 px image would only blur it and will not be a good image to put on a print on demand product. The only way to use a lower resolution image for POD is to put it on smaller products, like stickers etc. or if you make a pattern of it.
Just started my redbubble account thanks to you! I’m trying to make money on the side for college :) Definitely gonna spend the day optimizing my profile, uploading work and promoting the shop! I’ll keep you updated if I make any sales😊
Excellent instructions. I noticed that you use a resolution of 72 ppi for Blue Mountain photo. I see people use 300. Why do you select such a low res? Many thanks for your videos.
It's because she scales them up so much. The more you scale up, the lower the image quality gets - the resolution decreases. Redbubble actually explicitly states that they do NOT want artists to scale up images because costumers may return the product if they are not satisfied with the low quality of the print
I like Redbubble (before I saw you on RUclips). I set up an account and I have created 3 graphic design images (uploaded 2 of them and one ready to be uploaded). The takeaway for this video is the 9,000 px by 9,000 px which I didn't know and it would have been trial and error. Thank you, Alexandra. I also created a video to promote my image indirectly on how to use the product I am offering. I figured this was a bonus and a good way to promote without selling until the end of the video.
Just found your channel and started taking photos after being inspired by reaction I got to one single photo I took - a simple but beautiful sunset through the trees outside my house. I plan to get a few more photos and then start a Redbubble. Wish me luck!

Hi Thank you for your informative video about redbubble but can I ask if redbubble allows you to put watermarks on our works so that it won't be stolen??
Question. I loaded up my design in the kids cloths. It was accepted but I can't find a way to go back to the products page to view the items again. I need to increase or decrease the deign because the size doesn't fit other products. How do I open the page that lists all the items or products with my design on them?
That 9000 by 9000 tip was worth everything.
How do I adapt if I can't choose this resolution on Canva? :( *sad noises*

Hi Thank you for your informative video about redbubble but can I ask if redbubble allows you to put watermarks on our works so that it won't be stolen??
See the 10 August 2020 RUclips video by Jason Gandy, "Redbubble Watermarks | Protect Your Work On Redbubble." It's very clear, very helpful.
Question. I loaded up my design in the kids cloths. It was accepted but I can't find a way to go back to the products page to view the items again. I need to increase or decrease the deign because the size doesn't fit other products. How do I open the page that lists all the items or products with my design on them?
First time to hear this Red Bubble. Sounds interesting. Thanks for all the infos!
Thanks for watching! :)
