and aren't cuisines with only one thing required (italian salads needing only the preparation counter, spaghetti bolognese only needing stove, etc) the best because they are the easiest to prepare?
The potential number of customers that can be seated at an 8-seater table is greater than if you had a row of tables which can only seat a potential number of 4 customers. This reduces the downtime between customers spawning as you get more customers per wave instead compared to table row setup. That being said, the amount of cash you will gain is still dependent on how fast your chefs cook as that is the source of your profits. So regardless of how many customers you have, your chefs will only be able to cook at a certain amount of dishes meaning more customers is technically not as helpful as it may seem. That is why levelling and hiring chefs is the most important thing to do
The video is slightly outdated (kitchen update completely rewrote all recipes), however it does talk about using the fastest food (Japan & Mexico at the time). Most foods are relatively balanced and equal now, though Italian salad is one of the fastest foods it is only an appetizer. This means not all customers will order it, and the price of it is less than a main course. The pricing of each food has also been changed so that it varies, so main courses can vary from $7-$9 (I think). There isn't really a set "meta" for foods as their all relatively balanced, though I may be completely wrong and just living under a rock. actually get drinks because drinks are worth money, when you get drinks, they are useful for $2 boosts and stuff. Having 70k on RT2, I think delivery and drive-thru are an alternative way of grinding just my opinion
Back then they did not give any cash so it was not worth serving them. Even now I think the time that the waiters and chefs take to do drinks, deliverys, & drive-thru is time that they could've been cooking normal dishes, all these upgrades don't give as much cash as the normal dish which means lost potential revenue.
Hi this video was actually pretty helpfull at the time and also it still holds up today except some outdated imformations but since game changed a bit are you planning to make new version of this vid?
I have a tip too if you place large tables like 6 chairs in 1 table then you will earn more money because many customers come now because of this i earn a lot of money because the customers order many things
I have a question. So in the early stage of the game, how do i need to place the cooking stations? I didn't saw that in the video, could've been just me though.
yeah my bad, you basically want to conserve as much space for the 8-seater tables, so I place the kitchens at the furthest tile back for extra space. You can see my setup at around 13:06 (I know its for late stage, but the same concepts apply for early game. Save space for tables)
yep, unfortunately when I released the video the menu customization update wasn't out yet. But I did include removing all cuisines apart from a default dish of a specific cuisine and not upgrading it, that was the only method at the time
This video was before the kitchen update, it used to be the kitchen now its been separated into each individual counters. The counters are still found in the Kitchen section, you will have to make it yourself by placing the oven, stove, and prep counter
praying for a response. so there are new restaurants that you could buy, is the old one still better? also, i wasn't on RT2 before and dont know how drinks work but you dont have to make them now? so maybe that would be benefitial to have on the menu.
yes, the new starter restaurants are infinitely better, only because you get more cashback upon demolishing, which gives you a bigger cash advantage to hire chefs and buy tables
@@0qel this was recorded before the kitchen update. The "oven table" was seperated into 3 different counters in "Kitchens". You can just achieve the same result using those 3 counters by putting it together
Hey, I really loved the vid and I've been going through the comments and wanted to ask if it's still recommended to buy the Japan main cuisine or the Austrain-Hungarian Food? Also if for the Japan main dish is faster should I serve the Raman Noodles or the Nigiri?
After the kitchen update they rewrote the recipes for all foods so I'm afraid Japan is no longer the best option. Currently most foods are pretty balanced in terms of speed, you want to look for the ones that are valued the most. As of now, I grind with the Austria-Hungarian Beef Goulash and/or the Greek Soulvaki Skewer (Skewer might be faster)
Happiness only affects the amount of xp they gain to lvl up. If your staff are all lvl 15, then theres no point of worrying about their happiness. What I found was that even 0% happiness still lvls up your staff, though idk how fast. To keep my staff 50% above, I usually close my restaurant, let my staff finish up the last customers, and wait until most of them have reached 95% happiness and then open up again
I don't know if I mist something but how do u like it said something about costumers level or advertising or advertisment I followed but it only takes me back to my restaurant
I know that for getting more money and stuff but takes out the fun it's like u just want more money with 1 single dish ever and ever the same and I say that's boring but u did a great job and I have two restaurants a fully completed one based on these one and the second I'm starting on my own
Hello! I'm not sure if you still respond to comments, but if you do, is it still more efficient to get the second floor? When I follow the steps in the video, my customers seem to be going the same length no matter if I have two floors without the stairs or just the one. They do comically levitate up though, which is funny, but doesn't seem more efficient.
yeah, this video was made during the old meta, where customers would tp to their spots (patched). Currently, I just leave everything on the 1st floor, and instead of using Ramen Noodles I use Nigiri (also from Japan; even faster dish than Ramen) since you can now remove items from the menu
10 months late but I have some questions: If I use both floors for tables, will I get more money or will it be the same as if I just use the first floor? Once I finished the money farm, can I use the exterior upgrade, the mega plot upgrade and (if useless) the 2nd floor upgrade for decoration only? In the video, you said that chefs are the priority. Should I also hire more waiters when I finish with the chefs or just leave my only waiter to work regardless of his stress and sadness problems?
1. No, your cash flow is dependant on how fast you can produce food (basically entirely dependant on your chefs, thats why you should focus on hiring and levelling them up). Right now, the best setup is to keep everything on the 1st floor, put your kitchen in the center and surround it with the 2x2 tables with 8 seats. 2. The plot upgrades are up to you, I usually grind up to 50k-100k and then remove the entire setup, buy any extra upgrades and then build a good looking restaurant. 3. Chefs are priority, but you also need to balance it between the waiters. A good rule is to just have 1 more chef than the waiters at all times; you can max buy 7 of each chefs and waiters, so when you get all chefs, you can buy the remaining waiters.
@@AlgBuild Hey, I'm wondering what do you mean by 2x2 tables surrounding the kitchen. Like how would that look like? I'm kinda confused on the table setup, if you don't mind could you explain it more?
@@a_quaria3427 essentially, put your kitchen in the center of your restaurant, that way you decrease the time that your waiters have to walk to collect the food. after that you just need to place 2x2 tables (8 seaters) in the surrounding area, filling up the entire 1st floor with it. The setup should look similar to mine at the end of the video, except the kitchen should be in the middle of the restaurant instead of the back

all my workers are level 15 and all I do is sleep while my pc on and get my auto clicker on and let my workers do my job but when I wake up I also help them so their happiness isn't 0% also auto collect game pass is helpful so you can be afk and the money will be claimed automatically
You don't need to worry about happiness if all workers are max level, happiness only affects how fast they gain exp so it doesn't really matter when their maxed
I know this is a year ago but I am a little confused on how only have 1 dish is better because let’s say your using the most expensive drink starters main dishes and desserts that’s 7x4x8 and if your only using 1 dish that’s 7x1x8. And another question I need stairs for second floor so is just having 1 floor better now?
Basically the main course costs the most, therefore any other menu items that are valued less is wasted time that could've been serving a more valuable food. Yes having 1 floor is alot more efficient now, keep everything on the first floor shorten the walking distance of the customers to tables and the waiters to the customers
the 2nd floor bug has been patched, I'd just keep everything on the 1st floor. Keep your kitchen in the center of ur restaurant, and surround it with 11-15 2x2 tables
The fastest food strat is no longer viable, I'm not entirely sure what the fastest food now, but it used to be only serving 1 food in the entire restaurant for max efficiency. This was changed after the kitchen update changed all the recipes for the foods
@@HoodieBlocc expansion glitch should still work, however the 2nd floor strat was patched, so its now faster if you just leave all your stuff on the 1st floor
I think it might be the new warm cafe starter (L shaped), but I'd appreciate it if you used the modern diner with an outdoor kitchen! (because its my design lmao, up 2 u though)
Hello should I still buy the 2nd floor or just stay with the 1st floor and what type of food is the best now because of the new update and I have kids meal even if I make a new restaurant and should i just hire a cook or waiter if i have the money
Just stay with 1 floor, 2nd floor bug has been patched. You can now remove specific foods from your menu as well, so I'd remove the kids menu. For the fastest cuisine I'm not entirely sure, I heard it was kimchi, however I tested some more and am currently trying austria-hungarian foods (remove swiss roll from there). If your starting a new save, buy chef 1st, that should always be priority, hiring and levelling chefs.
@@kjans5910 honestly its up 2 you, at this point I don't think theres much difference between all of them. Kimchi is the fastest in the game, however the downside is that its only starter, so it doesn't give as much cash. I'm testing Austria-Hungary only because all foods in there give max cash output
This video is a bit old, currently the best way is to turn off all cuisines, leave only japan on. Then you want to only serve ramen (you can remove items from menu) until you unlock Nigiri (for japan) (you have to unlock a starter and a dessert before unlocking nigiri, make sure you don't serve them). After unlocking nigiri, remove ramen from the menu so you only serve nigiri in your restaurant
Yo, absolutely love the video. What would the best kitchen setup look like? can all chefs use the save oven stove etc? or does it have to be different, also is the kids menu still bad? I don't see a reason why it its bad. Also is the drive through and outdoors bad still?
After the kitchen update, the most optimized setup would be having 1 prep counter and only serving kimchi (currently, this may change in the future). Update also allowed no limit of chefs to now use 1 counter, so only keep 1 prep counter. Kids, drinks, drive-thru, delivery are still not worth it, this is because the value that they give is not based on your chef level and the quality dish they serve. Inside your restaurants, chef level determines the quality of the dish (i.e. lvl 15 serves gold plate dishes which are valued more). The upgrades listed above are not affected by this feature, so they only provide the dishes "base" value, which means you want to maximize the amount of gold plated dishes you are serving by not serving delivery, kids etc. The time that your chefs cook them could've been valuable time cooking higher value dishes, making it more profitable by only serving that. Hope this helped lol
recently there was a kitchen overhaul which updated all kitchen counters and food recipes/costs, so unfortunately I have not done enough testing to confirm what is the most optimal one, though I believe most foods should be relatively balanced with each other, I'd recommend only serving the most expensive item on ur current menu
Your goal is to fill your restaurant with tables of 8, it should look smth like the setup at 13:05 FYI the 2nd floor glitch is patched, so keep all your setup on the 1st floor
@@GorkaLeGrand you will have to buy them back at some point, but the money that you get from demolishing is worth collecting to give yourself a headstart and buy necessary upgrades to grind cash faster
The building is one of the starter restaurants that you can choose from when starting a new save, I simply removed the corner walls and roof for later use
i put everything on the second floor (kitchenware and tableware) but there isnt any customers coming in, i made sure the restaurant was open but theyre still not teleporting to the second floor
Hey I'm a bit late to this but I have a question, do you know of any faster or any equally fast to the Japanese ramen, as I'm not sure it still takes 9.71 seconds to make.. as this is a year later, I'm grinding so I can make a nice restaurant. Thanks if you reply 😊
After the kitchen update, all recipes changed so there isn't a certain type of food that is best for grinding. The current fastest for cooking is Italian salad, however it does not provide as much money as others, so I personally use Beef Goulash from Austria-Hungary (but its not the fastest)
Yes, that is the most efficient setup. For foods, just choose any that cost $9, they updated the recipes and balanced all of them so theres none that is super fast anymore
You: "Here I avoid Mexican foods because that is my chosen cuisine, so I only unlock Japanese foods" Me: " how did you guess that I keep using Japanese foods?" 😲
@@aaron-hk3ce this strategy is outdated since the kitchen update (changed all recipes), so now all foods are pretty balanced. I don't think there's a specific food thats the best anymore, but if you want to know what I use its Austria-Hungary Goulash only
Just wondering will buying outdoor area, second floor and mega plot decrease my income per minute if I just put some decoration there? (I already have 11 tables on the first floor) I just wanna make my restaurant looks better and bigger. Also, will buying drive-thru, delivery, food truck decrease income per minute directly if I already have 11 tables on the first floor? thanks
buying plot upgrades won't decrease your income, its mostly reliant on your setup. However, the upgades that you listed aren't as efficient as default customer serving as the food served through those upgrades aren't affected by the quality increase of dishes that comes with higher chef levels. If you have 11 tables of 8 seats, I think that is good enough to grind comfortably, I tend to use 11-15 tables.
back when this video was made it used to be only 1 food item. Now I'm not too sure after kitchen update, most foods are pretty balanced but I believe the fastest way is to still have 1 main course food that costs $9.
yep, choose the dish thats worth the most money. All recipes was updated after the kitchen update, so their all decently balanced in terms of cooking speed. The foods listed in the video are kind of out of date now, so I use beef goulash from austria-hungary (not sure if its the fastest)
I am about to enter midgame. But I haven't follow the video method before. If I want to grind money do I just play normally or start following this method?
A few of the strategies have changed since the past few updates: Table setup is still 8-seater spam, however you have to put everything on 1st floor (2nd floor glitch patched). I'm still testing the fastest cuisine, I think it is Austria-Hungary with the "roll" dessert removed. Kids, drive-thru, delivery are still not worth it, however drinks may be useful (at the time drinks did not give cash). I think the rest of the tips are still relevant, I can't think of any more off the top of my head. Its been really hard keeping up with the meta as many of the pros I used to talk to don't play anymore. Hope this helped!
Thanks for the answer. But uh,I found out there is sometimes the customer aren't having 8 people, despite they are sitting on a 8 people table and wasting my space. Is it just rng based or there is something I can do?

omg tysm for these tips you are amazing!
actually get drinks because drinks are worth money, when you get drinks, they are useful for $2 boosts and stuff. Having 70k on RT2, I think delivery and drive-thru are an alternative way of grinding
just my opinion
Back then they did not give any cash so it was not worth serving them. Even now I think the time that the waiters and chefs take to do drinks, deliverys, & drive-thru is time that they could've been cooking normal dishes, all these upgrades don't give as much cash as the normal dish which means lost potential revenue.

Can you do a tutorial for a restaurant build like a modern restaurant, greenhouse restaurant, or medieval restaurant?
Hi this video was actually pretty helpfull at the time and also it still holds up today except some outdated imformations but since game changed a bit are you planning to make new version of this vid?
I do have some plans, but definitely not in the near future as schools starting up
started playing this game 5 days ago, now i have 70k and maybe ill try ur technique
I have a tip too if you place large tables like 6 chairs in 1 table then you will earn more money because many customers come now because of this i earn a lot of money because the customers order many things
ty for all the tips they were very helpful!
Save space for tables)

this bug was patched, so 2nd floor strat no longer works, keep all tables and kitchens on the 1st floor
This works very well. Thx for the tip!
could you make an updated version?, I am not getting much money from this.
Another tip is to remove 6$ stuff on the menu (Starters and Deserts) only keep the main courses

so there are new restaurants that you could buy, is the old one still better? also, i wasn't on RT2 before and dont know how drinks work but you dont have to make them now? so maybe that would be benefitial to have on the menu.
yes, the new starter restaurants are infinitely better, only because you get more cashback upon demolishing, which gives you a bigger cash advantage to hire chefs and buy tables

@@AlgBuild Oh okay, thank you so much for replying. I'll ask other questions incase I need help but thank you.
How do I keep my waiters and chefs happy? They always seem to go down and I'm not even over working them.

Hey i choose the starter is salad Italian 7$ and make with only cutting board is that good for farm or choose the main dish ?
@@AlgBuild What other meals to use other than Nigiri?
10 months late but I have some questions:
If I use both floors for tables, will I get more money or will it be the same as if I just use the first floor?
The setup should look similar to mine at the end of the video, except the kitchen should be in the middle of the restaurant instead of the back
@@AlgBuild Thank you so very much, I understand now.

Hey uhh where can i find those kitchen set on 12:52
This kitchen set has been separated into 3 different counters after the kitchen update, its just the prep counter, stove top, and oven.
does the brown big table actually give the most money? or should i go for more customers?(meaning i buy the cheapest medium dining table which is 2 blocks wide and can have around 4 to 5 (max) customers per table) because after calculating, the brown table im using only hosts up to only 96 customers.
Please make an updated one since their like new starter places or so and some glitches are pathced and can you like make an new rest. and just show it on video?
all my workers are level 15 and all I do is sleep while my pc on and get my auto clicker on and let my workers do my job but when I wake up I also help them so their happiness isn't 0%
also auto collect game pass is helpful so you can be afk and the money will be claimed automatically
You don't need to worry about happiness if all workers are max level, happiness only affects how fast they gain exp so it doesn't really matter when their maxed

And another question I need stairs for second floor so is just having 1 floor better now?
i think it’s so they get done faster
Basically the main course costs the most, therefore any other menu items that are valued less is wasted time that could've been serving a more valuable food.
Yes having 1 floor is alot more efficient now, keep everything on the first floor shorten the walking distance of the customers to tables and the waiters to the customers

And, what is the best restaurant for now because there is no yellow restaurant now
I think it might be the new warm cafe starter (L shaped), but I'd appreciate it if you used the modern diner with an outdoor kitchen! (because its my design lmao, up 2 u though)
Hello should I still buy the 2nd floor or just stay with the 1st floor and what type of food is the best now because of the new update and I have kids meal even if I make a new restaurant
and should i just hire a cook or waiter if i have the money
Just stay with 1 floor, 2nd floor bug has been patched.
You can now remove specific foods from your menu as well, so I'd remove the kids menu.
For the fastest cuisine I'm not entirely sure, I heard it was kimchi, however I tested some more and am currently trying austria-hungarian foods (remove swiss roll from there).
If your starting a new save, buy chef 1st, that should always be priority, hiring and levelling chefs.
So should I just get the austria-hungarian or the kimchi and if I pick one of these I will removed my ramen correct?
@@kjans5910 honestly its up 2 you, at this point I don't think theres much difference between all of them. Kimchi is the fastest in the game, however the downside is that its only starter, so it doesn't give as much cash. I'm testing Austria-Hungary only because all foods in there give max cash output
Ok tysm
so at 1:07 you showed what dishes to add. Should those 6 be the only items on the menu?
I really belive that kids meal is not bad. I get more money through the card system even with a kid!
@@AlgBuild ohhh cool didn't think about it like that, thanks
@@genshinscaramain Kids meals by default give less cash compared to normal adult customers, but its up to you which you'd want to use
So whats the best country I can pick for food money wise (I just started the game)
recently there was a kitchen overhaul which updated all kitchen counters and food recipes/costs, so unfortunately I have not done enough testing to confirm what is the most optimal one, though I believe most foods should be relatively balanced with each other, I'd recommend only serving the most expensive item on ur current menu
@@AlgBuild Alright thank you I sub btw :D

After the kitchen update, all recipes changed so there isn't a certain type of food that is best for grinding. The current fastest for cooking is Italian salad, however it does not provide as much money as others, so I personally use Beef Goulash from Austria-Hungary (but its not the fastest)

@@AlgBuild so buying drive-thru, delivery will decrease income per minute directly right? thanks

Man i have a question,We have tu put so many types of food or just two or something like that?
back when this video was made it used to be only 1 food item. Now I'm not too sure after kitchen update, most foods are pretty balanced but I believe the fastest way is to still have 1 main course food that costs $9.
