This is a great intro to Google Scholar! One thing I want to add: Finding open access articles! Try adding filetype:PDF at the end of your search string to find articles in institutional repositories, preprints, etc that are freely available to anyone. No institutional affiliation required!
Jinqxia, check with your library. There may be a couple of things to do to let Google Scholar know which library you are using (though I work at one library where we don't have a set-up so that Google Scholar knows our holdings).

Can I access Google scholar from my gmail account too or Will I have to login or make an account seperately on Google scholar ?
I'm not sure if you can access Google Scholar from Gmail, but you'll probably want to make an account anyway.
My library does not pop up with 'my citations' like yours.
