    I just bought a 19 E63S couple of weeks ago and I’ll tell you it’s one big boy of a car! It’s currently stock but as quick as my 2015 CLS63S M157 engine & that was downpipes, stage 2 pump fuel. 11.2 1/4 time is really fast for a stock AMG. Tunes are going in in a few weeks I can’t imagine how it’s going to transform. This engine and transmission is the best AMG has came out with and is truly a perfect cruiser imo. Great review, one hell of a machine.

      Lol I’m considering a tune but afraid of jeopardizing my warranty

      @@Scarz733 currently eurocharged tune catless downpipes, blackboost intakes while they sound good I feel like I might be heat soaking but it sounds way too good for me to put back the original box. I’m currently 730 awhp 820 awtq ran a 10.5 other day on unprep road @ 134MPH. A nice tune really wakes up these cars big time. I still have warranty and I don’t do service at Mercedes’ anymore just local shop that gives me invoice that services were done. These are strong forged engines with a stage 2 it’s still reliable unlike the M5s which tend to blow when it’s around 800 wheel.

      I miss my m157 e63s . Sold it in July and was also getting ride of my v8 m3 for an estate 213 e63s, stupidly saw a w212 e63 performance pack 6,2l with distronic, carbon fibre, dynamic seats and next thing you know, my s213 e63s dream is over and the 6.2 is in my driveway alongside my m3 and a road tax bill of 1430! Fml
      Do you still own your w213 ? How's the exhaust sound with the opf, i like the facelift refresh but don't want to lose the sound . If sports cats will get you passing the MOT then I'd be tempted to do the same

    Tip for the future, always go sport plus for sideways, never race mode. Race mode also may deactivate 2 cylinders for track use etc. Sport plus is the play setting in sport handling mode , race mode is more for not drifting or going sideways

    I love your reviews. Your videos helped me buy an M140 a few months back.
    And now it's convinced me that my new 'big one' should be this rather than another RS6.
    So... can you tag me if you get an estate version please. On the lookout as of now... with an RS6 C6 to p/x

    Absolute machine. Im thinking of buying an E63s 19 plat with 40k miles with a stage 2 msl map on it. Any suggestions would be great? price is 55k

    Great video! Thanks. On the market for one of these but the estate. However, it would be a one car garage for the family and I’m a little concerned about the RWD bias and so much power. I don’t want my wife throwing it into a hedge bottom from half an inch too much throttle forcing the rear end to step out! Ha. Maybe RS6 and Quattro would suit better?

    • @ParagonCarsLondon
      @ParagonCarsLondon  2 года назад +1

      I'd go for the RS6. The E63s is still easy to drive but it is a proper drivers car and does require a level of focus.

    • @jamesdecade
      @jamesdecade 2 года назад

      @@ParagonCarsLondon Thanks. Tbh, she wouldn’t be driving it like I would be, but there will be times where she wants to over take or blip onto a roundabout. Is TC gonna save her most of the time? I’m coming from a C63s coupe so can handle the bias, albeit I want a car I can actually drive in all weathers. As good as Quattro in the wet do you think?

    • @ParagonCarsLondon
      @ParagonCarsLondon  2 года назад +1

      @@jamesdecade Yeah the TC will save her, it just allows a little slip even in comfort, similar to the c63s really. The audi will be better in winter but there's not much that e63s wouldn't handle.

    • @jamesdecade
      @jamesdecade 2 года назад

      @@ParagonCarsLondon Hmm. I think it might have to be Quattro then. Even though TC to the rescue, she hated the feeling of the rear slip, even just a little bit. I’m just gonna miss the AMG sound so much 😔

    • @nate7906
      @nate7906 2 года назад +3

      Oh please. The car is so easy to drive my 90+ year old grandpa drove our E 63 S wagon no problem. The car does not step out in comfort in any sort of normal driving. It will not step out in comfort from half an inch too muck throttle. It will cut power way before anything dangerous occurs. Sure in Race mode with the stability on sport mode you can get some oversteer if you are driving aggressively and come out of a corner and give it a lot of gas but it still won’t let you plow into a tree. The RS6 is a understeer mess.

    Im considering buying a 2019 right now - 21k miles/3 prior owners (which I cant figure out)....i want this car to last me another 80k miles. With proper care and feeding (e.g. regular maintenance) will this car make it?

    • @ParagonCarsLondon
      @ParagonCarsLondon  2 года назад +1

      with proper maintenance these engines last a lot more than 80k miles.

    i'm definitely getting one soon once the time is right. BUT mines has to have the performance bucket racing seats like this one! it's a deal breaker if it doesn't. seeing so many e63s that don't have it :(

    • @AcogNeato
      @AcogNeato Год назад

      Have a w213 and let me tell you, DO NOT GET THE BUCKET SEATS. EVERY owner of these cars swap for a model with the normal massaged seats, comfort is way more important than looks. The normal massaged seats have a bolstering system to hold you in place too they're fire

    Dude makes car reviews but cant even read the HP amounts properly. e63s version has 612 hp.
