Why didn’t you mention CLM Will reinvest at the NAV which can be like a 20 percent discount but only certain brokerage firms do that. Fidelity is one that does.

Hi! Sorry to say so ... but your "recommendations" are "a looser's game" because of the capital and dividend yield depreciation in all those funds. I'd rather choose RVT or RMT which preserved their capital and still offer a 10%+ DY with quarterly distributions

Since you didn’t catch it in the intro and in the description, I’ll reiterate. These are NOT recommendations, NOR are they financial advice. Do your own due diligence before investing into anything.

I was up 18.8% on CLM , 75% on SMHB 45% on FCO -currently up 8% on ECC and 11% on OXLC and was previously up 25% on OXLC all yield 17 to 20% . 30% on MVRL which yields 20 to 27% 57% on EDF..currently 11% on EDF
A yield trap is only a trap for those that buy high and sell low. These are 3 to 6 or 6 to 9 month trades.
The cefs tend to trade back and forth the same ranges. They are not forever buy and holds

Lots of rough edged comments here. I used to sell the closed-end Nuveen municipal bond fund. It provided above average tax-free income, and customers loved it. Just saying....

seeking alpha shows a 3/14/24 ex. div date. for CRF. If it's monthly why doesn't it show a 1/??/24 ex. div. Mostly sells and strong sells on SA.

It shows monthly distributions in my brokerage. Just saw an ex div for Jan 12th for $0.10.

@@CashFlowFinanceyeah monthly. SA still shows 3/14 in one place, then monthly in another place.
