On the datalog found on the same room you see GAIA in the Cradle (Eleuthia-9), it mentioned the date of birth for Gestation Order No. LK1A1-4510 (aka Aloy) which is April 4, 3021. It also explained that a multiservitor was tasked to put baby Aloy outside the Cradle facility to be found by Nora.
Fuarian no, the project was finished around the 60's (GAIA is transferred to GAIA Prime on 2066). The datalog I mentioned earlier also stated that the Cradle where Aloy was born finished it tasks in 2326 by releasing its inhabitants before suspended all operations only to woken up 700 years later by GAIA's order to make Aloy. I don't remember finding a datalog that stated the numbers you wrote, at least not yet. I'm still on a journey to collect every last of 'em :)
Well you can definetly see where the main religions come from. First they want to see the real sun then they are told by mother to go out into the world and be brave.
I just finished the game 2 days ago...and this part really got me. You'd think Elisabet wouldn't be aloys mother....but Aloy would be Elisabets clone. Gaia essentially created Aloy as a failsafe using Elisabets dna sequence (hence the 99% match, cmpared to a standard 50/50 blend of "normal" parent) so that she'f have the Alpha prime overrides....like i get that in essence yes...shes her mother...but scientifically
Elisabet is both her mother and father in a way. Because instead of 50% DNA from mum and 50% from Dad she;s had both halves of her DNA from one person.
The thing I thought was GIGA put her eggs in one basket because to make such plan work. Because all it had to take was one cold or a something else to kill Aloy or her plan was fucked.
14:40 probably my favorite moment in the game. Aloy could have just reluctantly accepted the title or finally feel accepted, but instead she rejects the “Anointed” title and chooses to fight for something bigger than all of them. She may have been hated or neglected by the Nora but she will save them and everyone else in this world.
It was kinda spoiled early on that she is the clone when the focus scanned her and the doctor for genetic similarities and came up with 99.43(don't fully remember the decimal) and if you remember biology in middle school it should have been around or at 50 per
+sombodi200 Actually he is kinda right. She is not completely a clone. She was formed from a Zygote which GAIA altered the DNA of to match cauldron recognition enough to allow her access to. Keep in mind the zygote that formed the original Dr. Sobec was not available (obviously). All this meaning, Aloy originally was a unique person with a distinct father and mother who's sperm+oocyte(part of the egg) was stored via project ELEUTHIA (but was then altered by GAIA to match Dr. Sobec enough). So technically, she isn't a complete clone, but she is close enough to be one. ...At least, that's how I put the pieces together from listening to those audio logs.
My first theory when Aloy found out that Sobeck was a thousand years old is that the door at Mother's heart is a time machine and Aloy was from the past that was sent to the future. 😂 😂😂 I felt stupid, she was a clone after all.
@@doge2629 Its one of the best game storys ever written, You clearly did not play it, or are authistic and unable to proces and feel human emotion. The ending was just Wow
I kept wondering through a lot of this... "How is Aloy going to tell the nora about Zero Dawn without letting them know their religion is just a big misunderstanding?" She could keep her mouth shut about the whole thing but it would be a crime to let the people who saved the world be forgotten. And Aloy will most likley need help to rebuild GAIA. Yet they just skim over the whole thing.
Show Matriarch Teersa first. She is nice and reasonably open minded. I have noticed that Lansra opposes everything Teersa is for while Jezza is always sitting on the fence.
I respectfully disagree. Dispite here abilites Gaia is defennatly NOT a godess, she is not a devine or supernatural being in any way and she certenly won't be reciving the Aloy in the afterlife. And I for one think that carrying on this lie in grossly immoral.
Well first, she is going to need to gather people with technological aptitude to rebuild Gaia. Also If Aloy manages to fix Apollo, she will most definitely have to show the Nora about their history. That is knowledge you don’t want to hide. But I feel some Nora will reject this truth and try to convince others that it’s all a lie. Especially Lansra, you know she gon stir up a whole heap of shit and put fear into some people. But I’m hoping if Apollo is fixed, Aloy can convince Nora parents (if they are willing or at their own leisure) to invite the children into the facility and begin their school lessons like they were suppose to so many years ago. Aloy is gonna have to do a whole lot of talking and convincing for the Nora to accept. It won’t be easy.
Allmother can kiss my a$$. People in this game are stupid. And it's beyond Aloy to rectify them . She can't make them understand all these things. Because they chose to be stupid. I would rather leave them to their madness and their misunderstanding.

Gaia probably made that avatar herself. Zero Dawn was but a seed in the form of the most advanced AI humanity ever built. While they were making sure the subordinate functions operated as intended Gaia herself was being tested and refined to operate these functions accordingly this required communication for which the AI made an avatar for itself. As you saw it was constantly shifting, changing colors and themes. Even after 100 years Gaia is still evolving. Well until she blew herself up.
I love Sylens and his horrible tact and dark humor. Telling a woman she had two mothers a dead person and a machine doesn't exactly sound like the best way to cheer them up but hey I'll take it.
The credits first had me weeping as the game was over which made me super sad, and the ending part with Aloy going to the ranch while Elisabet talked to GAIA was so sad I was in tears X( Also, the Brin guy and Sylen were talking about the "Unforgiving West" and I feel that a sequel might be there if we get lucky. I need one because this game has me to invested to these great characters and tbh I have a crush for Aloy. She's pretty, strong, understanding, and selfless.
TheRedPuppyDog tbh I hate the post credit scene. There was enough open ends to warrant for a second game but that ending was just cheap. You killed it! Plot Twist: Oh no wait you didn't!
What I've understood by reading the old scriptures and datapoints; the teenage kids who were released into the wilds are the ones who became the Nora. As we know, the Nora considers the mountain to be sacred and worships a goddess known as All Mother. This may be related to the fact that they came from the cradle facility inside the mountain (Eleuthia 9) and that they were raised by a multiservitor they called mother. And as they procreated, maybe the knowledge they shared about the mountain and their 'mother' to their offsprings got reinterpreted into what is know today as the Nora 'religion'. About the Carja, there was once a curious Nora man who was fascinated by the Old Ones and their world of metal. He wandered in the ruins in search for answers just like Sylens did. There he found writings from the Old Ones about how they studied the Sun to give them knowledge about stuffs like time or position/directions (north, west, etc). But it was considered taboo by the Nora to go into the ruins and he was eventually outcasted. He then gathered some followers and traveled away from the sacred lands into the west where the Sun shone down the Spire, making it cast a long shadow which the outcasts followed to a mesa, which is now known as Meridian. That man who guided them there became the first Sun King. This explains why the Carja worships the sun and how the royal family came to be.
The thing I thought was GIGA put her eggs in one basket because to make such plan work. Because all it had to take was one cold or a something else to kill Aloy or her plan was fucked.
Late reply. I don’t think Gaia had much choice. There were three limitations on her capabilities to kickstart a contingency plan. The first is how much genetic material she had to work with. The second would be the time it takes to get multiple projects like this started while prepping the self-destruct sequence and keeping the sub programs from immediately running wild. The third would be the location of the closest cradle facilities. All-mother Mountain was the only cradle facility in the Denver area, close enough to the Gaia Prime facility that it wouldn’t be unreasonable for someone to get to it. Who knows where the closest cradle after that is. Was it a serious gamble? Hell yeah. But she didn’t have much choice and she had faith in Elisabet. I don’t think the thought that the clone might not be the same as Elisabet ever crossed her mind. Who knows how much she understands the nature vs. nurture debate.
When I realized the complete truth about "Zero Dawn" I felt like totally overwhelmed of what Elisabet Sobek tried to do - for mankind and mother earth. This game is absolutely brilliant and has one of the most intensive stories I have ever played! Looking so much forward for the "Forbidden West"!
but who put the baby Aloy outside the sealed door and sealed it? How come matriarchs never saw this happening? There is lot to explain here , may be in the sequel.
A servitor obviously put the baby outside the door, withdrew back inside and the door sealed shut. The Matriarchs weren’t there to see it. But heard the infant’s cries.
If there is one thing I'd change, it would be the story of Apollo, instead of permanently delete, instead have it deactivated and only to reactivate back when Aloy get the master override and restore the human civilization back to its former glory. That should be a really good ending IMO.
I'm of the same mind, that it was a poor choice to have the PZD Alphas put all of humanity's knowledge into one system and not have a back-up or a master restore in mind. When Ted Ferro wiped APOLLO, they should have had a contingency in place so that somewhere down the line -- and not by Aloy -- somehow the system back up could be activated. I acctually have a small idea for how I'd do this if I was writing the story.
I don't know. In the end these new humans didn't need the relics of the past. They were able to build new cultures and civilisations. They're not perfect, but its not like the old ones were living in some kind of Star Trek utopia either. Lying Ted made a fortune selling war machines after all.
Aloy tells Varl that he should go into the mountain and see what has happened. Would love to see her have some friends with her Seeker and now Annointed status. Can you imagine her taking someone into the GAIA Prime facility and getting to talk in simple english what has happened? That would be awesome.
You know, something about Sylens just rubs me the wrong way, especially with that teaser at the end (Also I haven't yet completed Frozen wilds so no spoilers pls) But I will say one thing, he does act as a good catalyst for Aloy, pushing her forward to find the truth Damm, I can see a Frozen wilds video called 'Learning the Truth' as I type this, I gotta finish that darn thing
DH SAUD Gaia did not create Hades. Hades was created by the same scientists that created Gaia. Hades was build as a safety precaution if Gaia would rebuild the world wrongly. Hades job was to correct Gaia's mistakes. Unfortunately, Hades was activated without a mistake being made by Gaia. Gaia, as protector and mother of life, sacrificed "herself" to safe all life on earth. Before she followed protocol she made one last drastic decision. She created Aloy from the DNA she gathered from Elisabeth. After that, many years went by. At a certain point someone found the remains of Hades and reactivated "him." Hence why he is the main threat in the game. So... after getting all that out of the way. To add to your comment. Technically speaking. Hades would be the uncle of Aloy XP
still riddled tho lol aloy was seen OUTSIDE the door of the Eleuthia facility prolly because a multiservitor put her there because the facility knows no baby can survive inside cuz u know... no food and such... but tbh... if the facilites were dead or even damaged since years ago before aloy was born howd the facility manage to make aloy? like was it still fully working and well preserved before her birth? and to think that no multiservitor survived for just 20 years inside despite them being machines and no need of anything but power still curious tho so gaia still lived before aloy was born right? which launched the protocol for her to be born? lol so when did HADES go rouge exactly??? i must be uninformed
Hades was only there in case Gaia made the world wrongfully. Gaia made Aloy from Dr Sobecks DNA as a countermeasure in case Hades somehow is resurrected. I don't remember the year. Then Sylens found Hades and that's when Aloy was born.. April 3021 or something like that. Matriarchs found her, gave her to Rost and the rest is history.

Kinda late but, the facility released them because it ran out of food, the natural progression should have had them gaining access to the Apollo learning system and then getting released after learning enough, but since apollo was offline they were essentially stuck in kindergarten until there was no food left.
@@defenderofthebrave that was so creepy. You could tell that without Apollo the caretakers only had a basic caretaking program for young children to fall back on, so they kept treatimg them like toddlers, even when they were adults. No wonder the "kids" went a little nuts.
I hope the climax in Horizon 2 is where Gaia is rebooted to here the voice of her creator ONE MORE TIME!!!! that will surely make a grown man cry and be a good ending.
they are the ancestors of this area's people since i think this is the only cradle built in this part of the world (the others were built in a different place(?)). Unless i understood it wrong from all the data files.. there is more than 1 cradle but i might be wrong. edit: did some digging and yes my understanding was right there are other facilities but its pretty much spread out throughout other parts of the world.
It must have been so difficult for the first generation. They got a kindergarten education from the multiservitors but were supposed to then be educated by Apollo but since Apollo's database had been delated they just stayed in the cradle facility until they were about 16 when they multiservitor's directives to keep the children safe and healthy forced them to open the doors and let them out or they'd have starved.
She's also Cassie cage from mk1.... 10 i believe? and she cameos as herself in the saints row 4dlc "HAWP" along with her brother and.... is that actually her dad?
Maybe I wasn't paying attention while playing, or just forgot, but what happened to the rest of the kids? Did they all die after entering the world outside or were they like the founding members of all the different tribes?
Jabari Cook They are - presumably - the founding members, as they are somehow obsessed by their mother and the Sun, gods of Nora and Carja, and are taught to be "brave".
I wonder how the Nora became so distrustful of machines. Yes, the AIs were barely sufficient as parents, but that doesn't seem to be enough of a reason.
In the beginning of the game, when Aloy first enters the Nora big village. You can listen to a matriarch telling the story of the past "as they think it happened". They became distrustful of machines because of their religion. I guess when the first childs got out of the mountain, they stayed near it because they knew nothing more and thus this was sacred and what they didn't know was forbidden and cursed.
This is one of the best story lines in a video game. The first time I really felt like I played a bad ass protagonist. Aloy should have been given enhanced DNA bioengineering for added affect even though in my mind that's how I played the character anyways.
Her genetic makeup and DNA were from material that GAIA had stored in cryo-storage from the original Dr. Elizabet Sobek. GAIA had programed the Cradle facility to gestate and "birth" Aloy from that material. So in truth, GAIA and Dr. Sobek are her "mothers" in a sense.
Kinda like Jesus how she was born without a human father.. She was never to be shun.. like the braves made her and she was the anointed the entire time which pissed off Aloy cuz she was an outcast almost her entire life.
Aloy : This giant metal door is ripped open Who or what did it ? A.I. : You did.... Aloy : What? why? what was inside it ? A.I. : The Liquor Cabinet ....
Are there any actual lore videos on RUclips for this series? Because all I can find is people just posting gameplay footage that tells you the lore instead of people talking about it in detail
I know this is old but... I just started playing this game. HOW did Aloy get outside the doors as a baby though?? Like did one of the robot caretakers drop her outside the doors and then seal it behind her? And how come shes the ONLY one to come out? No other babies made it? amazing game though. Level 53 and im still afraid of everything lol
One of the best parts of the game to me but one thing that bothers me about this revelation is how did a new born end up outside that door? Gaia was already gone and we don't see any machines inside that bunker. That baby didn't walk herself out the door. Also it bugged me a lot the moment I heard Sylens say that Aloy wasn't born but made. How did humanity return after being wiped out if it wasn't by the work of a machine(s). That point never comes up sadly.
Aryon1969 humanity acording to datalogs, started 700 years befor alloy from these cradles. after 700 years people forgot where they came from and it became myth, hencr worshiped. remember they dont have apolo it was deleted so they dont have knowladge of the tech
The games litteraly has answered all of your question. Reinstating humanity was one of the prime directives of Project Zero Dawn... Go read the wiki before asking questions that have already been answered.
I would imagine that the Cradles around the globe, without APOLLO to go on, had to release their initial batches of clones upon running out of food, just like the one that birthed the Nora tribe. These humans, without a central bank of information about the Old World, were taught only basic English and social skills by servitors. They had to adapt to their respective environments.
@@wer123456 I bet you anything Ted Pharo KEPT Apollo in his bunker. A slime like him..ya he woulda kept it. He would have all the knowledge and thus leverage to rule the world.
I hoppe that this game gets a proper expansion ....in wich aloy can get a sneak peek with the help of some 'demigod' AI/suberdinate functions that become sane of not only Gaia flaying the deranged ceo for the murders of his peers ,and the destruction of all the collective knowledge but also making him die in despair as even with his loophole preventing her from carrying out vengeance on the others behalf agenst him the same way it chakles her to 'high directive' limitations...she is still practicly a Godess compared to him...and can show him what his despicble wish to put blame on all others but himself likely would lead to...having every horror of human history repeated agen... such a shame this game is playstation only.
Soooooooo does this mean that the other A.I are awake too i know one did in DLC but it wasnt connected to Zero dawn it was something else, but what about the others in the Zero dawn project??? any thoughts????????
All of the subordinate functions (subprograms) of GAIA were turned into Self-Aware A.I.s when the signal from the "outside source" transformed HADES. HEPHAESTUS was one of those A.I.s, and the rest are somewhere, out in the world of HZD. With the exception of APOLLO, which had been wiped by Ted Fero before he murdered the Alpha Primes.
I dont know.... the game is so good, i mean really good, its really worth a 10/10, but this part of the game just makes me disappointed, like figuring out Aloy was just a clone???...... Why? LOL
Not a clone exactly. GAIA altered a zygote's dna () to match dr sobec's enough. That's why she is not 100% dna match. A zygote is formed from a male sperm cell fertilizing a female egg, meaning Aloy is technically unique, though barely. GAIA mentioned she used gestation, which ultimately means there was definitely a zygote initially, its origin being some male and female from the past. (The zygote is usually formed within a few weeks during gestation, but in this case, the zygote must have been already been ready(frozen) so no need to wait extra.) If she were an exact clone, she would have to match 100%(which she didn't: 99.47%). Any given person on the planet, on average, is about 99.95% identical to either of their parents. On average, every human is about 99.9% the same as any other human (in terms of DNA). A chimpanzee is about 99% the same as a human (terms of DNA). So actually, 99.47% is quite significantly different (though the system may not have exactly measured the DNA correctly). genetics.thetech.org/ask/ask166 genetics.thetech.org/ask/ask309
I actually felt the same way. This thing about her being a clone ruined her character and the story a bit for me. It was very disappointing. I mean, it’s hard for me to explain why but, a clone isn’t a real person. Just a copy. Nothing unique - taking away everything that is special about her. Idk, this really messed it up for me. I guess the writers thought it would make her cooler, but it totally ruined it for me. I honestly don’t even like movies where you find out the protagonist is a clone. - It just turns me off.
- Zerenity - I don't think so. Aloy was born later then the rest. I think she was born generations after GAIA created the first wave of humans and then humans started having intercourse to have children
Roasted Yeah that's what I was thinking too, and how exactly did Aloy end up laying on the floor inside that mountain? Did GAIA physically place her there?
Roasted Wow, it'd be so much more interesting if they could go more in depth with that part when she entered the baby facility. So, had GAIA stopped making babies when HADIES grew? Did she return to her original purpose again at the end when HADES was defeated with continuing the harvesting of life?
- Zerenity - I think it might've been so long since GAIA was created it probably just deteriorated and couldn't make anymore. HADES was starting to get more powerful after that. Yeah pretty much she just went back the way it was before all of this stuff happened. I recently just finished all of the main missions, which is surprisingly only 30% of the game so I'm sure I still have a lot to learn more about the events that took place
Zombies come to America. Transformers land only in America. Aliens only choose America. The only country that is invaded is America. Superman's ship landed in America. Thanos Wiped only America. What gives man!

I think GAIA said she used a zygote, meaning Aloy was originally a unique person at the cellular level but then altered enough to match Sobec.
In just 2 days you finished the whole freaking game?
chobitsgnarlslover me too i just finished the game awhile ago that feels
Hey aloy what did you find in there
" you don't wanna really know "
14:40 probably my favorite moment in the game. Aloy could have just reluctantly accepted the title or finally feel accepted, but instead she rejects the “Anointed” title and chooses to fight for something bigger than all of them. She may have been hated or neglected by the Nora but she will save them and everyone else in this world.
The last lesson Rost gave her.
Rost, the best father in videogames. Period.
It was kinda spoiled early on that she is the clone when the focus scanned her and the doctor for genetic similarities and came up with 99.43(don't fully remember the decimal) and if you remember biology in middle school it should have been around or at 50 per
Upcycle Shoes most people probably didn't see when it showed up so maybe were or will be surprised
You know it's a clone but you don't know why at this point. Why is the important question.
Slug Overlord She's not a clone. She's a reconstruction.
+Fuarian same thing
"I'm not a person, I'm an instrument. Manufactured by a machine. Born in destruction, and fire."
One of the most emotional moments in the game.
11:58 Gaia does one last T-pose
I love how that voice on the comms just tells it like it is :D "I'm a tool /sob/"
"quit your whining, tool!"
Wtf...
A: So this is where i was born
S: Where you were made
(5sec go by)
A: So this is it
S: Where you were born. XD WTF
lol i know i'm late but yeah the character realized he was being a complete dick.
Sylens is savage for no reasons sometimes, but he realized he was being a bit harsh to her so he change it to "where you were born"
My first theory when Aloy found out that Sobeck was a thousand years old is that the door at Mother's heart is a time machine and Aloy was from the past that was sent to the future. 😂 😂😂 I felt stupid, she was a clone after all.
"I just found out I was made in a tube."
"Shake it off, got got stuff to do."
Harsh, lol.
This game deserves a movies
I can't believe this game is so good that I start thinking that the people are more like human beings than just game NPCs
ya this game is unbelievable it's a master pese Sony is all ways the best video game company
@@badreedinedjellali1328 idk about all that lol but the game is very good
Bruh. The characters in this game are stupid and bland. Only the plot and idea of this game is cool.
@@doge2629 Its one of the best game storys ever written, You clearly did not play it, or are authistic and unable to proces and feel human emotion. The ending was just Wow
I kept wondering through a lot of this...
"How is Aloy going to tell the nora about Zero Dawn without letting them know their religion is just a big misunderstanding?"
She could keep her mouth shut about the whole thing but it would be a crime to let the people who saved the world be forgotten. And Aloy will most likley need help to rebuild GAIA. Yet they just skim over the whole thing.
Show Matriarch Teersa first. She is nice and reasonably open minded. I have noticed that Lansra opposes everything Teersa is for while Jezza is always sitting on the fence.
Í think the things left open or skimmed over were done deliberately so, so they can be dealt with in the sequel.
Resh was completely silent he can't utter a single word he's afraid of savage aloy or he'll get the same treatment as Lansra got lololol i just wish Bast was here too.
"Genetic identity confirmed. Entry authorized." These sentences giving me goosebumps!!
Sylens sounds so apathetic everytime he utters a line, its hilarious.
i have a crush on aloy 😂😂😂😂.
Jose Rodriguez wait I'm not the only one who has feelings for her damn thank god if you wanna know my story add on fb just search my name and let's chat about it.
I think girls have crush on her too. She is too beautiful. I think EVERYONE have cursh on her.

I played with a side story i made where i was a tiny human following her journey, from today and got shrunk somehow, she wouldn't let go alone after her journey ended, but we were good friends, i had knowledge from the world until 2037
I do too but only because the actress that does her voice is also cassie cage's from mkx 😍
This game is so fucking cool
So they had less than 16 months to build Gaia and they decided a carefully- animated avatar was a 'must have'?
There should be a fucking sequel to this cool shit. There are too many loose ends to be tied.
Did you see the after credits scene? Sequal material!
Blue Gator Yeah I had the exactly same feeling as yours. The ending conversation between GAIA and Elisabet was soulful.
TheRedPuppyDog tbh I hate the post credit scene. There was enough open ends to warrant for a second game but that ending was just cheap. You killed it! Plot Twist: Oh no wait you didn't!
TheAbysslMonsterDog YES! I would like to see more of Silens and HADES to tell us more.
I had to pause to the game because I laughing so hard when Lansra bow before Aloy so fast.
I like how even though Aloy knows All Mother is just a GAIA facility access door, she plays along with the idea that she is a goddess.
I love that scene in the beginning when Aloy is like: "This is not a goddess, this is a door!"
So do those kids eventually create the Nora and Carja orr?
They allude to it, notice how they are obsessed by the Sun and Mother...
Those kids became the ancestors of the different tribes in the game. Nora, Carja, Oseram, Banuk
@@Trojanpige Holy crap.
Hearing those kids becoming adults and still sounding like kids really disturbs. I wonder what could’ve happened if Apollo wasn’t deleted.
Tushar Mhawarkar it was probably all Gaia’s doing.
A servitor obviously put the baby outside the door, withdrew back inside and the door sealed shut. The Matriarchs weren’t there to see it. But heard the infant’s cries.
Horizon Zero Dawn seems like an awesome game. I would like to have it on PC. Nice playthrough with good quality. Good job. Thanks for sharing.
it's now on pc
I don't even think it is permanently deleted. nothing can be. I think this is what Sylens is after.
Gotta love Lansra reaction
This is pretty good...although I have my grips with some of the presentation....overall...a very well-produced piece of gaming here...*quack*
You know, something about Sylens just rubs me the wrong way, especially with that teaser at the end (Also I haven't yet completed Frozen wilds so no spoilers pls)
But I will say one thing, he does act as a good catalyst for Aloy, pushing her forward to find the truth
Damm, I can see a Frozen wilds video called 'Learning the Truth' as I type this, I gotta finish that darn thing
my sister said that if Gaia was aloy mother then Hades is aloy`s brother lol
DH SAUD
Gaia did not create Hades.
At a certain point someone found the remains of Hades and reactivated "him."
Hence why he is the main threat in the game.
So... after getting all that out of the way.
To add to your comment.
Technically speaking.
Hades would be the uncle of Aloy XP
In greek mythology that is what true, but not in this game
@@bmoon9007 still you're wrong tho. You agreed to the original comment about _mother_ and _brother._ But in Greek myth, Gaia was Hades' grandmother.
I love how they low-key explained the origins of the Nora and how they serve “ all mother”
still riddled tho lol aloy was seen OUTSIDE the door of the Eleuthia facility prolly because a multiservitor put her there because the facility knows no baby can survive inside cuz u know... no food and such... but tbh... if the facilites were dead or even damaged since years ago before aloy was born howd the facility manage to make aloy? like was it still fully working and well preserved before her birth? and to think that no multiservitor survived for just 20 years inside despite them being machines and no need of anything but power still curious tho so gaia still lived before aloy was born right? which launched the protocol for her to be born? lol so when did HADES go rouge exactly??? i must be uninformed
Matriarchs found her, gave her to Rost and the rest is history.
was kinda obvo , her name is a play on Alloy, her adopted dad was a play on Rust, as soon as i started it yesterday and we saw how OP she is, i said to my friend, who has finished it ''she's a clone right? or a experiment?''
She is a clone of Elizabeth Sobek but what Gia created her to save life and prove of her mother.
wait so... all the original people who made the tribes were made... that means human extinction did come. hm. so everyone is a descendant of the All-Mother.
l loved that part when Aloy finds out since we get to see that lady's "l fucked up" face
I thought she was a android
omg i learn something new everyday even though i dont play this game, ive been following the story from playthroughs. Its a good one. liked & suubbed!
So Aloy is a reincarnation of Dr.Strobek?
Sobek..... One of the egyptian gods of the nile. The crocodile god reminding the Egyptians that thought thenile would flood ad life would fail. After the wter had settled the flood would have left fertile ground for new life..... Very clever name developers.
She just has same genetic things but she is an other person not reincarnation
Ronaldo114 NOOO SHE IS HADES DAUGHTER 🙄
She is a clone of Dr. Strobek. Identical twins are technically clones too, but they are far from being the same person right?
@@dickiewongtk i think GAIA Made her as a clone from Dr.Sobeck using his DNA,so he can open the vault and restore GAIA
Why people say Aloy's clone as a mother... Its just Elisabeth being immortal... She is the chosen one genetically speaking.
So the kids inside the mountain later became the first humans....because the Computer System couldn't keep them in anymore?
Kinda late but, the facility released them because it ran out of food, the natural progression should have had them gaining access to the Apollo learning system and then getting released after learning enough, but since apollo was offline they were essentially stuck in kindergarten until there was no food left.
@@defenderofthebrave that was so creepy. You could tell that without Apollo the caretakers only had a basic caretaking program for young children to fall back on, so they kept treatimg them like toddlers, even when they were adults. No wonder the "kids" went a little nuts.
I hope the climax in Horizon 2 is where Gaia is rebooted to here the voice of her creator ONE MORE TIME!!!! that will surely make a grown man cry and be a good ending.
plot twist ... dr sobeck is the real villain
last dlc
ori vs clone
Seems those kids are the anscetors to the Nora tribe
they are the ancestors of this area's people since i think this is the only cradle built in this part of the world (the others were built in a different place(?)). Unless i understood it wrong from all the data files.. there is more than 1 cradle but i might be wrong.
edit: did some digging and yes my understanding was right there are other facilities but its pretty much spread out throughout other parts of the world.
Also that is supposed to be the Mountain that has the Headquarters for NORAD in it. North American Aerospace Defense. Nora..
Aloy is Chloe from Life is Strange?
Yea
No
Also Tiny Tina from Borderlands 2
Yes, they never touched on it in the games but Chloe was a clone the whole time. It didn't come up because it wasn't important.
So this is the collab character in genshin
The most strange place in this game. Just go there and mude the music and sounds. You will hear... they.
I think the caretakers might have bewn programmed to tell them a bit of what happened, though the story got a bit twisted in thw telling.
12:30 Sylens is a savage
This is one of the best story lines in a video game. The first time I really felt like I played a bad ass protagonist. Aloy should have been given enhanced DNA bioengineering for added affect even though in my mind that's how I played the character anyways.
She is Blake Griffin's younger sister.
So... Aloy has two moms?
Daniela Espinoza to make up for no father
Her genetic makeup and DNA were from material that GAIA had stored in cryo-storage from the original Dr. Elizabet Sobek. GAIA had programed the Cradle facility to gestate and "birth" Aloy from that material. So in truth, GAIA and Dr. Sobek are her "mothers" in a sense.
Sooooo..... no fucking
Kinda like Jesus how she was born without a human father.. She was never to be shun.. like the braves made her and she was the anointed the entire time which pissed off Aloy cuz she was an outcast almost her entire life.
So cool. She has an AI as a mother, a deae woman and a badass adoptive father xD
Sacrificed, died, and rebirth with no parents. Kinda like biblical story.
I thought cryo-frozen Dr Sobeck daughter
I can't believe Nik Avocado is the main character of this game.
I don't know if you'll get this but there's a RUclipsr called Random Sidequest that has a bunch of HZD lore videos
I know this is old but... I just started playing this game. HOW did Aloy get outside the doors as a baby though?? Like did one of the robot caretakers drop her outside the doors and then seal it behind her? And how come shes the ONLY one to come out? No other babies made it? amazing game though. Level 53 and im still afraid of everything lol
yes, Gaia "birthed" 1 baby with the genetics of Elisabet in response to the virus that woke up the other ais
Her mother is Chloe Price
There are no gods.Only us.
Technically speaking, it was Elizabeth/Alloy that created All-Mother. Call a bigger flex than this one.
Aryon1969 in a datalog it says one of the servos left her outside
I bet you anything he also actually did the light keeper protocols and kept DNA samples for a cradle to keep cloning him ensuring that there would always be a Ted Pharo..for when the time came to release everyone.
I knew that aloy was a clone
braniac sound like rached from tranfomers prime
It is sad just how primitive Human Society has become after Humanity's fall.
Sylens have no chill.
Sequels dropping this year too! I hope to god they dont ruin her character by making her a feminist man hating SJW.
I have one question bothers me, is aloy and rest of the tribe is human or what, cuz I'm still confused which is robot human and real human
They are all human except for the robots who raised the kids
Aloy looks like my ex with red hair, and its weird
Good to know
Genshin fans anyone? 😅
Not gonna lie, I thought she was half robot
she wouldn't have been able to grow....
I dont know.... the game is so good, i mean really good, its really worth a 10/10, but this part of the game just makes me disappointed, like figuring out Aloy was just a clone???...... Why? LOL
It makes the story so much more interesting.
(The zygote is usually formed within a few weeks during gestation, but in this case, the zygote must have been already been ready(frozen) so no need to wait extra.)
If she were an exact clone, she would have to match 100%(which she didn't: 99.47%).

Sahn Min Zuhur so Aloy is not a clone then? Hopefully not.
Seed Cloud was also a clone, from FF7 if I remember well. But naw, it's badass to know she's a clone from a thousand years ago.
Question is who put Alloy outside the door? Did it literally eject her out?
Good Game...but Mass effect series is something..Shepard lives!
But the rest of the humans there, aren't they also artifically crafted by GAIA??
- Zerenity - I don't think so. Aloy was born later then the rest. I think she was born generations after GAIA created the first wave of humans and then humans started having intercourse to have children
Roasted Yeah that's what I was thinking too, and how exactly did Aloy end up laying on the floor inside that mountain? Did GAIA physically place her there?
- Zerenity - they didn't specify on how children were born from the cradles, I would imagine that's how it went
I didn't get the error at the door when she first enters into "the mother" why does that sound dirty? Anyways yeah
