As a Japanese person, this music sounds more like supermarket music in Japan than 80s stuff. Still, I enjoyed the simple and relaxing sounds and don't care whether it was made by people or AI. Nice work.
For AI, the Japanese writing is perfect for this one so I’m not sure. Like it's written in Katakana in α very old fashioned manner which I think is hard for AI to replicate. 「喫茶アヤメ」「咲イタ アヤメ/アヤメ」

After a few minutes i just realised that I've never heard the songs before in the video I'm currenly playing and the tracks pretty much sound the same, turns out it's AI If it's not repetitive maybe it'd be nicer, like mai yamane, yurie kokubu, seiko matsuda, mariya takeuchi etc has their own unique style which makes them interesting, but AI generated music just sound the same, it's hard to explain but they just don't hit in the right spots plus, you just can't sing along because you don't know the song, lol
