The game has changed greatly too since it launched so a lot of the older guides are outdated, suggesting pokemon who were nerfed, so its nice to have a good general up to date guide
1:18:36 a bit correction: Red star boss Pokemon and egg hatch gives 40 candies. But red star regular Pokemon in wild gives 20 candies for catching it. Blue star boss Pokemon and egg hatch gives 20 candies. But blue star regular Pokemon gives 10 candies for catching it. Yellow star boss Pokemon and egg hatch gives 10 candies. But yellow star regular Pokemon in wild gives 5 candies for catching it. Non shiny boss Pokemon and egg hatch gives 2 candies and non boss non shiny regular Pokemon in wild gives 1 candy. And finally a really helpful video! Thank you.
I hopped on the pokerouge train last week by and this is very helpful info. I remembered seeing you in a draft league recently also so it was nice to find to making videos like this.
my favourite pokemon to start with is aipom because technician/scrappy ambipom is completely unresisted by any pokemon, and if you get lucky you can get a triple axle tm on it. it is also one of the few population bomb users so if you have wide lens or any other way to increase accuracy you just have this super fast bomb of a pokemon, and obviously kings rock/grip claw are very good on it too
First off, great video! A couple more tips for eternatus I didn't hear him mention. I love to lead a pokemon with snarl or anothe spdf dropping move if possible. Ideally with an x spdef it can live one eternabeam and get at least 2 snarls off. Thunder wave/glare/nuzzle are very good if you get rid of all your lum berries. Last, ghost types with access to curse are incredible, I have never lost to eternatus with curse as it does a full hp bar every turn. this combined with the normal chip from your team usually kills it faster than it can kill your whole team.
Right when I needed it I know a lot of this but some stuff got forgotten or some stuff I am blurry on so it’s a nice refresher and just listening is a vibe
Little tip i learned abt one of the rare events, theres one that gives you a handful of SUPER good itens but makes all shop stuff more expensive right, always take that bi bruh 🙏 it gave me 3 leftovers and 2 shellbells... literally made my carry pokemon mawile totally unkillable, she wasnt even mega evolved and she carried thru the entire rest of the game after that, got me my first classic clear bc literally nothing was able to outdamage the healing of 3 leftovers and 2 shellbells PLUS mawiles swallow and spit up skills, it was disgusting what i did to eternatus when i got there 😂 took bro to his last hp bar in one hit and then finished his second form in 2, my average Big E experience prior to this on the 3 runs i made to him were me getting my ah dog walked back to floor 1 before i could even get off a set up move or leech seed 💀
The Halloween event going on now is really good for grinding classic. I just did 2 runs and got 37 candies for Zacian and on the 2nd run I caught a red star Eternatus
Just got back into this game after bouncing off it a while back. The first time it just felt way to hard, with an impossible number of floors and an early game that crushed me because I was either to low a level after spreading exp or countered when my 1 good mon was countered. After my first run to get past the early game died in the early 100s to a Simepour that had coverage to counter the whole team I gave up on the game This time I'm enjoying it a lot more. I looked over my collection and picked out a Flamigo with decent IVs in most stats as an early game carry and a Vulpix who randomly had multiple perfect IVs as something to work towards later. I've also adjusted my outlook to not worrying about winning, just catching new things and improving my odds in later runs with new or improved options. It means that even an early loss in the 30s felt great because I found and caught 3 Flamigos to upgrade my IVS (no more 1 hp IV! Everythings 20+!)
A big reminder like this one is always nice Also, something ridiculous happened on one of my previous runs: I was against Eternatus, and my lead Pokemon (who was Archaludon, whose moves were Tachyon Cutter, Electro Shot, Core Enforcer, and Body Press) had 2 King's Rocks and a Multi-Lens. I kept attacking it and I got so lucky, Eternatus never got to attack ONCE (for context, my team was Archaludon, Inteleon, Delphox, Pawmot, Venusaur, and a Bisharp I didn't evolve because I needed to get the "Bring your child to work day" achievement). Am I a monster? Yes. Do I feel bad for Eternatus? Also yes. Immensely.
So. I beat the game a few months ago but since then amny things have changed, my approach is still somewhat in the past, but with the teams and random events in the game, maybe this video will help me become better(or not😂😂) BTW thank you for the great quality man
On the topic of "win with your favorites", one of my funniest wins was with Take Heart, Bouncy Bubble Walmer. This beast just set up, took dps and then +5 Water Spout, nothing resisted that 😂😂😂 Still kinda slow vs Ivy at 195 but I demolished everything so far🎉🎉🎉
Contrary Simple Spinda with all its egg moves and a Baton is absolutely insane. I also got the clown event which made him a Normal Fairy. I was able to send him in against Ivy and Eturnadus and absolutely demolish them.
I have had two wins so far after starting a few days ago and they’ve both been extremely unusual runs. My first one I got the event with the Giratina lady who makes your Pokémon all fucked up and got OP combinations like A ground Steel flygon with it’s Adaptability passive as well as D-Dance, Earthquake, and Shadow bone from the dreepy it once was, a Ground Water Ursaluna with Spore and Attack Order from it being a vespiquen originally as well as Headlong Rush and Mountain Gale, and a Dragon-Water Latios who had Blue Flare My second one had me get a DNA splicers while having Wimsicott and my Spore Vesipquen, so I made Vespimsicott with Spore, Sub, Tailwind, Moonblast, Prankster, and 2 Leftovers, and then I got Gyarados with Surging Strikes from the event that has a Pokémon with an egg move you can catch, and then I got the clown who can change your abilities and rolled Guts, and got a Guts D-Dance Outrage Flip Turn Surging strikes Gyarados with a toxic orb. Also Indeedee with Psychic noise saved me from the final boss becoming nigh immortal through healing :3
Doesn't the mystery encounter where the wild Pokémon has an egg move unlocked, unlocks the egg move? I don't know myself, always had the move unlocked when it happened.

Hi quick question tho, what does this icon beside the pokemon sprites - the Bottle sort of icon just below shiny icon - mean? I've been seeing this but to no avail got no real information on what it does
I just completed the pokedex, 6d 6h 6m, have beated only once classic mode, got to level 240something on endless, im still stuck in classic mode, hacked the eggs and I have 20% shinies, it is haaaard
Open the egg gatcha>F12>load te second java>ctrl+f>This.scene.gamedata.vouchercounts>add a pause some lines before the 4th instance>click on the game>press left>back tothe debugger where it opened the tab open the sub menus of this.scene.gamedata.vouchercount look for a 4 input list, each line is an egg voucher type add as many as u want then close the debugger back to the game, fight the glitch save and quit to save your hackmans moves and then redeem 99 legendary eggs forever and ever till everything is shiny
