I did notice that I tend to gravitate towards darker books these days as well. You convinced me to read at least half of these lol that Killing Eve reference? Sold!
YES! I loved If we were villains too! You talk mostly about the Shakespearean thing (which I liked and the act that mirror the plays is indeed so clever!), but I mostly loved the MAJOR Secret History (Donna Tartt) vibes! Please read that book next year, I know you got it ;-) It is one of my all time favorites (reread it last year and it passed the reread test! Still amazing!) Added This is how you lose the time war to my TBR so fast! It already sounded interesting when you hauled it, but now that is ended up being one of your favorites of the year (and someone whose taste I really trust gave it 5 stars as well) I just can't wait to read it! I loved you gushing over these books!
I stan a Queen (you). Wilder Girls is one of my favorites as well and I LOVED the ending. It was such an incredible horror novel and I am obsessed with Rory Power's writing. The books the you recommend just always become instant favorites for me.
ooooooh i rlly wanna read the luminous dead!! and lmaoo you know i still need to get to if we were villains especially now that i have no excuse since u got it for me hahaha ly
You’ve got me so hyped for Girl in Red and Luminous Dead! I hope to get to them early in 2020. This is how you lose the time war wasn’t on my radar at all but you’re the second person to mention it in the last few days and now I’m really intrigued! It sounds right up my alley
It's so funny because I looooved The Wrath an the Dawn and I really didn't like The Beautiful lol (and I my problem wasn't even the lack of vampires because I had watched your reading vlog before starting it so I was warned) 😂 And Daisy Jones and the Six was also one of my favorite reads! so good
Riley's so gorgeous. I can't stand it
this list is REALLY going to impact my 2020. bless you, bb. and happy new year! 💖
I loved If We Were Villains I’m glad it made your favorites list🌻
This Is How You Lose the Time War sounds amazing and I can’t wait to read it.
I added the Luminous Dead to my want to read list after hearing you rave about it back in October.
aaaagh i wanna add all these books to my tbr now !!! also I LOVE AUTOBOYOGRAPHY TOO, read it in 2018 and i still think about it often 😭😭💞💕
