#42 Testing Aqua Cast and making a Mushroom Lamp that also glows in the dark!

- Is Aqua Cast as good as Jesmonite? Is it easy to mix? is it strong? Lets see as we make a mushroom lamp ( as inspired by Toonpish Crafts) and add
in some glow in the dark details too. It also turns out Aqua Cast is heat resistant - certainly enough for coasters!

I prefer Aquacast, simply because I don't have to be quite so scientific about the mix rations. I'm glad you liked this one

Hi! I wondered if you would be able to experiment with Aquacast on some more detailed moulds and 3D moulds? I have loads of moulds for resin, but I have a really severe allergy… with PPE! I’m gutted, but hoping this could be an alternative. I’m just curious to know if the Aquacast would be as strong when battling to de mould certain castings… if you know what I mean 😂 Thanks Tracy, great video, as ever! x
Certainly can! Let’s start with the chunky little dragon in Aquacast, that should be a good tester. Leave it with me, I’ll do some more Aquacast soon
