I’m also impatiently waiting for Desert Illuminations! I grew up in New Mexico and it speaks to the culture I grew up in (a beautiful mix of Mexican and Native American culture). I miss my childhood home so bad! I’m so humbled and honored that people all over are wanting this deck - not just us from the Southwest.
It’s such an amazing deck!! I love my indie copy but I’m sure I’ll grab the MM as well 🥰

Tarot of the Moon Garden has a great closing sentence in the guidebook for The World. No one ever talks about this deck and it became one of my favorites after my first reading.
"Seek new horizons. Stretch the limits of the mind."
That is such a beautiful sentence 🥰 It reminds me of the motto of Life magazine (actually the modified one from the movie Walter Mitty)! I don’t have the Moon Garden but it’s definitely on my list 🥰
Great hashtag and your choices make sense based on your explanation! I thought of the Witches’ Wisdom Tarot when you reached the WORLD card. It’s very earthy and grounding. Not the typical RWS as the WORLD card is the first major arcana. I haven’t used the deck enough, but the images in my mind embody the World.
Oh I love the Witches Wisdom Tarot! When it came out I was happy to see that it was taking a different approach to the majors and in principle I like the “flipped” perspective. I found that working with it gives me the potential to explore new ways to the fool’s journey. That would be an excellent choice for the World card 🥰

Thank you Clare 🥰 I was worried about a few of them because I don’t think people would associate The Bohemian Gothic with the Lovers card, but I really see it like that so I just went for it 🤣

But I definitely agree with you on the Hanged Man there is NO other choice but the Tarot of the Abyss!! Theres a couple of choices that you picked that I would use that deck in a different spot but I love each person's individual perspective

Oh that’s the Remembering the Sweet Fool Tarot. It’s an indie deck by Tricia Murray. It’s still available in her Etsy shop 🥰
