Deuce, I'm pretty certain that Pal's assigned to a base can be physically picked up and thrown at a table or task and they should then work on whatever they're thrown at. They may go back to whatever they were doing at some point, but they should work the "assigned" task for a time...
you should turn down the egg time hatch in the custom setting menu it will make eggs hatch instantly if you set it to zero. Also for convenience unlock the small feel bag and put some food in there you and your pals will get auto-fed from it. You should use lucky pals to fight because they have special moves in fighting. I don't usually get any feed bags after the small feed because it is usually enough to store all your food. There's a trick with a grappling hook to travel fast which is to cancel midway while grappling from one place to another and use your glider to go really fast. You also cant catch tower bosses without a glitch that got patched around a month ago.
