Physical punishment doesn't excuse someone from eternal judgment in hell. God will judge based on His perfect judgment. We are better making sure that we have obeyed the gospel and are remaining faithful. Let us do our best to set the example that Jesus gave us.
"We had better make sure we obey the Gospel." Nadab and Abihu did not have the command to be baptized (obey the Gospel). However, Nadab and Abihu were people IN COVENANT with God, yes? If they went to Hell then what good was that covenant with God?
Do preachers and teachers exist today? Because in the scriptures, they had the ability to do miracles, and they received knowledge through the Holy Spirit. 1 cor 13:8-13 also states miraculous knowledge will cease. I also noticed in the book of Jeremiah that I believe chp31, the scripture, states that under the new covenant, man will no longer teach his brother. How can you confirm what you're saying is the truth?
