This is a golden message on Qur'an memorization and the programmes organized by madaaris. Many things should come first before a child fully memorises the Qur'an. Tawheed especially! Then Hadith (Sunnah) and Fiqh.
I don't like when people don't talk with sincerity. The modirosah that does 3yrs programme has done their best. The remaining is for the child and the parents for retention of the memories. Why must you blame the school for God sake. As Children progress in life if they fail to practice what they have memorise they would lose it. But been at that age we are just encouraging them to get developed as they still recall it back even if they forget . How much more if people In Your age bracket that you have forgotten what they learnt at their modirosah will you blame the school both of you went to . Haa if we don't like some people we are Quick in finding their fault . May God forgives us !!!
