I have followed Linfield all my life,i was born 2 streets from windsor,i have followed Linfield away in europe,i have seen Linfield take many hammerings in europe,i was in copenhagen,i was in odense,i watched them against Beverne,i have been to wrexham,they are not getting better,they are getting worse,they are bringing the quality of the opposition down to Linfields level,Lifield couldnt even score against a team from the faroes,Linfield are a massive club,but only in Northern ireland.

I would really love to see some mega rich person come to Linfield,and bring in better quality players,David Jeffrey is a great irish league manager,he is up there with Roy coyle,but in europe he hasnt got a clue,AEL are a good side,Lifield made them look even better,we will see how they progress,imagen players like micheal owen,Robbie savage,guys near the end of their careers playing for linfield,just think of the attendances,if Linfield had better quality players,it will never happen

Northern Ireland isn't exactly a huge country so it's to be expected that the league isn't the greatest... and anyway the Irish league "down south" is actually better, just look at the coefficients. They've got more clubs playing in the Europa League (ex. Shamrock, Sligo Rovers, St. Pats, Drogheda, Bohemians, etc). Don't take any of this personally though you should always support your local club(s).
