Hi, can you pls compare the output sound comming from JBA rear exhaust vs full exhaust systems from Borla S, Mopar and Corsa? I mean not only level of loudness, but also frequency, which is deepest? Is it correct if I think that JBA will be, probably, less lound than remaining 3, but will have deeper (bass) tone than Borla and Corsa, maybe similar to Mopar?... Thanks
I have a 2018 Durango now with stock exhaust. I did notice the different badges on the back of the Durango you filmed. Are they the same? Also did you have them put on the upgrade after you got your Durango and how much was it? I would like to change mine to the mopar exhaust
Anthony Nieves they are the same. I just removed the dealer badge from the tailgate. And for price, it really depends on your dealer. I had some credits with mine but I believe the part goes for around $1600 and installation is about an hour.
Gregory Hylton Are those brembo brakes? I'm looking at getting my RT next week and want to also know if u got the dealership to install the exhaust and brakes?
I had the dealer install the exhaust and I painted the brakes myself using Rustoleum Caliper Paint. I got a can for like $10 and did about 4-5 coats on each caliper with more than half a can to spare.
Gregory Hylton Nice job man!! One more question. How long did it take them to install the exhaust? I'm looking at a Durango in a different state and want it to be installed when I pick it up.
I didn't yet. I was waiting on k&n to release an updated model that would protect the air filter from the elements since the previous version sat fully exposed right under the driver's side hood vent. I believe they just released the update so I'll be getting it soon.
I agree. Unfortunately, I had to choose between the exhaust upgrade or the factory hitch. I chose the exhaust upgrade. I might replace it with the factory one at another time.
@@greghylton that Sucks! So you can’t put the molar exhaust on if you have the factory hitch? What a shame I love that hidden hitch such a cleaner look. I bet a performance shop could custom bend an exhaust around the factory hitch.
@@greghylton I feel you bro, when I got my durango I thought it had the towing package and then when we went to pick up the jet skis I shit my pants because no where to hook up lol luckily uhaul hooked me up, btw they charge like 400 bucks just to active the trailer lights through the hardwired pigtail connector. So next time foraure opening that little hiding hole for the hitch lol
@@greghylton a hitch and the towing package are two different things, hopefully you don't tow near the rating of the factory towing package with only an aftermarket hitch installed
was this loud in the cabin when driving around or on long trips .I have a 2019 RT and want to here that growl just worry about the noise level with my kids in the back
Honestly I can barely tell the difference in the cabin unless I'm really opening her up. Everyone always says it sounds amazing though. I heard my wife drive my car away the other day for the first time and did sound glorious. I'll see if I can get some drone footage uploaded in the near future.
I have 2018 and was dying for Borla exhaust, but thinking I may go thru Mopar for the exhaust (product # 77072479)..Dodge quoted me at $1595 for exhaust system and $220 for labor. Now I am told the mopar exhaust is not as loud as the Borla, and I know Borla has no drone inside the vehicle, which is what I want....How is the drone on this and is it alot louder then stock (thats what I want)
kush I’ve been leaning towards Corsa for like 3 years. Lol got the Volant CAI and the replacement PCM w/ tune. Game changer. When I first looked at the Corsa it was $989.... now they’re like $1250-$1400 🤨😒
Well damn! That sounds great!
Where can I buy this one?
Any article number or anything?
Please. Its sounding great 😀

I also have a factory hitch installed too

Gregory Hylton I have also have a factory hitch on as well, can they work with that?
Anthony Nieves shouldn't be a problem
I have the same system on my '18 R/T. Do you have a problem with the tips going slightly out of alignment once the exhaust is hot?
Not that I've noticed.
Either one of you have a drive by video
Hey Man,
Nice mod! I'm looking to ge tthe same exhaust for my RT. Can you post where you got it or which exact one it is?
I did everything through the dealership. I believe there is only one Mopar exhaust upgrade for the 2018 model.

Nice man! How much bigger is the tips compared to the stock tips?
Sorry man. I couldn't tell you. They definitely protrude much more than the stock exhaust tips.

HTTR QuietStorm it took under 2 hrs. They are pretty much just bolt on
Did you get the intake as well? I'm going to get the exhaust but not sure if I should get the intake as well.

That aftermarket hitch kinda rueing the look of the back of the car.

No, it was a money thing at the time. The factory hitch was like $1000

They can walk if they don't like it!
hows the sound of the exhausting while cruising? any drone or it being too loud from the cabin?

I just keep watching this video lolol
Do you know it mopar exhaust is a 2" ,2.5" or 3"? I haven't put my on yet bc I'm looking for black tips
Did you ever find your answer? The RT exhaust is 2.5 inch. The tips are 4 inches. SRT exhaust are 3 inch in diameter.
Do you have caliper covers?
No they were painted with Rust-Oleum caliper paint.
Not bad at all!
Is that a factory mopar hitch? Or is it a uhaul brand?
What is the diameter of the exhaust tips?
15 DurangoRT I think it’s 4”
What kind of exhaust is that?
Kevin White Mopar performance cat back exhaust.
Gregory Hylton did you go through the dealership?
I tend to do the majority of my work through the dealership to not void any warranties.
It sounds really good, I just bought a R/T yesterday and I’m wanting some exhaust
Gregory Hylton what’s the part # sir ? Thank you
Smh no rev???

Which exhaust did you go with and how's the drone at 75-80 mph on the highway?
Does this maintain warranty?
Mopar Corsa or borla can't decide!

I just looked at Corsa for my 2022 DD RT. It is now 2K😮.
🙃Goosebumps 😲😖 I want this muffler setup for mine,i posted a vid.😍 😃
The hitch 🤦♂️🤮
“77072479” is the part number correct? I have a 21 and I love this sound!
