@Naomi Dreamz it was canon gameplay-wise, but not lore-wise. It is just a game mechanics introduced for us but we never thought it actually happened in the story 😆

I love it when Diluc and Kaeya's relationship comes into play. It makes me sad that a lot of people are unaware that the two are actually brothers (Diluc's father, Crepus Ragnvindr, adopted Kaeya when he was just a child) and I _live_ for the cutscenes when you can see the extent of their relationship.
They cannot hate each other any more than possible, besides the humor in their bitterness, what's there to live for in their interactions?
Which is why I never understand why people romancized their relationship. I can respect shippers that ship anything even if it's random but the ones that ignore the fact that those two clearly view each other as siblings and even shared a father while growing up together are weird to me. People will try to justify it with the weird "mistranslation" of sworn brothers but for their case, it's the same as them being brothers.

i love how everyone's demeanor's can change around klee. they all wanna preserve her childhood and make sure she can stay happy and pure (...something i feel like most of the characters on the island didnt get ahaha- or maybe just kaeya and diluc). it's klee's world, we're just living in it. just imagine diluc throwing balls of fire and kaeya freezing the fish. razor electrocuting them, albedo throwing around rocks to prevent their movement, jean yeeting them, barbara tryna catch them, aether pulling them in with his vortex...man, i miss the haar islands' event

To be fair Inazuma was extremely annoying with all the puzzles, constant storm and areas blocked behind very long world quest so the Golden Apple Archipelago map was the last good map we got, Chasm was also extremely fun to explore tho

It’s super nostalgic and I really miss it. Good thing it comes back annually, even if it’s not this exact one.
I was there for the event and I love the music from the event. While yeah it does come back occasionally it does not give the same vibes compared to this version.

Man even though inazuma already came out together with its islands, I still miss the vibe that the golden archipelago gives me. I miss klee interactions and the feeling of adventure. I still feel adventurous in inazuma but it felt too overwhelming, at least for me.

-The Samachurl beating towers is what Diluc does.
-The broken ship and the missing relic are what Kaeya does.
-And then Razor, Jean, Barbara and Klee are just playing the mini games and fighting Maguu Kenki.

Yeah, the woman that blasted Mondstadt's gate, strapped a Hilichurl to a Ruin Guard, suggested to have weak hilichurls to be eaten by the stronger ones, and blew Stormterror's Lair to make it more "ruin like" which in her terms, she was bored; this island for her daughter and many more.

In a plan to have the stronger hilichurls run on mills so that they could power a perpetual motion machine, and she proposed it to Lisa. Alice literally suggested to a Knight of Favonius to enslave all the hilichurls and feed them with cannibalism

Just imagine in like 7-8 years or so, after we finished the teyvat arc, this channel will be like a nostalgia treasure, we will be able to come here and see all the past updates and event content and all the time-limited stories that were told and all the places we visited.
Even though bwaap started this by just uploading him playing story clips for fun, this channel slowly becomes something very valuable and special to a lot of people :3

How did Alice invite the weird grown up but not Bennett, Diona, Mona, Sucrose, and Lisa? According to Klee, they're the best too.
Alice was limited by Mihoyo voice actor budget and schedule
I think Lisa is the only character that's surprising to not be here, however, she was part of the quest in part I so I'd say that excuses it, and personality wise she is a bit lazy so I'm sure she;s okay not being on the island haha. As for the others you mentioned, I wouldn't consider them main characters unlike the ones featured in the quest. The only exception, I would say, is Razor, but he is a close friend of Klee's which was confirmed in his own story quest so it makes sense for him to be there over the others.

I think Mona would be probably blow everything about who did it since she could probably tell who wrote it
Because Diluc is Klee’s surrogate father, much like how Jean is her surrogate mom
I know I’m late, but I’ve always wondered why Diluc was here. I saw 2 suggestions.
1. Diluc does care about Klee, since she reminds him of his childhood self. Or they’ve had actual interactions we just haven’t seen.
2. Diluc is the only other person that can get Dvalin to send everyone to the Archipelago since he is the only other person that knows Venti is Barbatos.

This event was by far the Genshin Impact definition of "Vacation"
Wide lands for explorers, puzzles for treasure hunters, a boss fight for challengers, time trial races for speed runners, and an interesting story for lore keepers.
All of them challenging but by no means difficult or stress inducing, you really can feel like relaxing on these islands. I look forward to activities like these in the far future.

Lmao this was almost exactly my reaction to that, except i was shouting. Then i watched this video and now i feel dumb.
Same thing when Paimon said how there's no other odd island when they're trying to figure out where the southwesterly isle was, i was like "how the hell did you not remember that big ass blue shielded island, paimon? We literally passed by it a few mins ago!"

sorry this took so long to get out! as you can see, this is my longest video so far because i wanted to get all of the acts into one video instead of splitting it into two (i swear if mihoyo releases another act after this i'm going to scream)
this event goes to the top of my list as my favorite event so far. the music is absolutely gorgeous and exploring the islands for the first time felt super fun and refreshing. i hope to see what comes with inazuma!
