Conspire is a good backup when you’re blocked from Sell Melange. Leaning into the water advantage is kinda the only way to go with Ariana too.

Yeah, I've gotten better about going to Conspire but I still often don't want to do it. The Spice to Solari return is so much worse, but sometimes it is the best option.

@@bludgeontv I've learned to like it by thinking of it as a triple reward - Solari plus troops plus Intrigue card. It feels like better value to me when I think about it contributing to goals in three areas.

Yeah, looks like I would have won on the tiebreaker if the Baron AI had put all its troops in.

**** Spoiler Warning ****
Disappointing that the baron was such a bad ai. The drop of 5 troops should have happened, and then at least 2 more. Baron takes the combat, Jasper takes 2nd and you come in 1st on the tie breaker. The game ended up being much closer than I anticipated considering what a great start Jasper had! I know the rules, I know the strategies - I just can't wrap my head around how they come together to win a game!

The AI can definitely mess things up sometimes. As for winning, keep at it! I'm feeling that way myself right now with Rise of Ix.
