Yes, I think this is what the author of the book mentions. That people don't always give and receive love in the same way. He might like to give love through acts of service but prefers to receive love as physical touch.

There’s a difference when it comes to live languages. There’s the way you like to show love to others, and the way you want others to love you. Aaron’s results were for the way he prefers to be loved, or what makes him feel the most loved. As far as how he likes to love others, definitely not physical touch. I’d say acts of service too.

As soon as Veronica said "I think you are acts of service" I knew it was HERS!! Not surprised at all. lol telling us what she liked without even realizing it. I think all of the love languages are important. My top one varies depending on the relationship too. Aaron could've energetically picked up on Veronica being happier when he does things for her and that is why he shows his love to her. This is the highest compliment honestly and HOW YOU KNOW HE IS THE ONE FOR YOU. He can likely anticipate your needs now because of the acts of service element.
Physical Touch and Quality Time are important for intimacy and connection period!! Those should automatically be in everyone's Top 3! In my mind, the foundation is either physical touch or quality time, the core can vary but still it is usually between the same as the foundation, and the tip of the pyramid is up to the person's discretion. The tip being the "ultimate" way to ones' heart. For example: I favor Quality Time slightly over Physical Touch but I need to be touched to feel secure and safe. If that is a missing element in the relationship, it will not work. But the way to my heart is doing stuff for me without me having to ask. As a single mother, it is very attractive when a partner takes the initiative in any regard and anticipates anything I may need done or something. It solidifies that I can trust this person to take care of things if I need it. Without any of these 3 on a regular basis, I find myself feeling unprioritized and unwanted. Leaving me sad that I am even questioning my position in the person's life.
The full LOVE TANK is soooo important for every long-term relationship dynamic. Even with family and friends, there's way to show love platonically to your loved ones in the way they prefer to receive LOVE.

Love language means how they like to receive love, not necessarily show it hehe so yo know how they feel appreciated the most and you do those things. For example Aaron feels more love with a hug rather than a gift. 🙊

The purpose of the Love Languages quiz is to revela the love language in which you receive or feel loved. Often times the way you show love is not how you feel loved. For example, I receive love through Words of Affirmation and Quality Time (dialect undivided attention) equally yet I show love through gift giving. I think you both should take the official Love Language quiz!

I think that there’s more than only one “perfect” person for everyone but once you find them there’s no reason to worry about any of your other “perfect” matches. I also think it’s not good to obsess over who is “the one”. For the most part if you’re meant to meet them you will so focus on becoming the best version of yourself and you’ll find “the one” eventually.
I do believe its very possible to find “the one” but one or both of you don’t know it so the moment passes you by.

13:31 so love languages are both ways...as in one of Arron’s love languages is physical touch…so that means he enjoys showing love through it but also receiving it. His other love language could also be gifts, he loves giving people gifts but doesn’t necessarily love receiving them himself.
It’s best to choose a top 3 out of the 5 so it’s more realistic. No one has one love language. There’s a better quiz out there that will give you a percentage of each love language and gives you your top 3.
My top 3 are:
Physical touch, quality time, and words of affirmation.
