Part 1: How I Started a 6 Figure DEI Consulting Business in 6 months - Background Info

Learn how, after being laid off in March of 2020, I was able to generate a six figure Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) consulting & coaching business in just six months. For the past year or so, I've been building my own business, specializing in DEI and career coaching for professionals of color. My clients come from a variety of industries (e.g. tech, food & beverage, non-profit, art, fashion, recruiting, etc.) and organizational sizes and structures.
As a Black woman working in DEI, and as a person who has been helping bridge cultural divides since childhood, I have a really unique perspective to offer. My hope is that this channel helps inspire others who are interested in starting a consulting business, to stop overthinking and just launch the thing!
