I only ever gift my villagers wrapped fruit. They don't display it in their house, it still earns friend points & if you want to get rid of them they're technically ungifted because you've not given them material items. Also, because they don't display fruit in their houses, their little house spaces aren't used up with random items that have been given them.
I love giving them clothes lol they end up wearing them throughout the game .
I love giving mine cool gifts, including furniture and clothes.

My inventory always has all the tools, some custom kits, fruit, and fencing just in case. Sucks only having 25 spots for extras but I get distracted easily so I can’t go back and forth from my house all the time.

About the smoothies that deli drink is actually apple juice, the juices/smoothies that our villagers drink is actually our native fruit smoothies
I always keep tools, customization kits, a DIY bench, and now the pipe on me. I hide a changing room behind Ables so I can change clothes.
The able sisters problem of accidentally clicking yes... leave a cooler out somewhere, hidden or not. Then you can just run to the cooler, and use that to change clothes, instead of dealing with load times getting into your house

OMG the running in Nooks Cranny was hilarious.
My dailies include checking the Able Sisters, the Nooklings, the trash in the service center and watching out for special visitors.

I have a to do list for my dailies, for me it’s super fun to write it out and check off each thing since I don’t rlly plane anything out irl. Irl I’m super spontaneous but in game I love planning everything out, so fun.
I also have ten of my spots full 24/7, fishing rod, shovel, slingshot, net, vaulting pole, ladder, axe, outfit wand, watering can, & a balloon cuz why not? Lolz, I like to keep it vERY organized.

my native fruit in Wild World was peaches, & then I ended up getting them again in New Horizons! bc of this, for the longest time I thought the only fruit in the games was peaches
Hide the dark green coolers behind trees then you can change your clothes anywhere outside (even the locked safe let's you change outside).

I don't play the game daily anymore. I put in 3000 hours into this game and I got to the point where I needed a break. After playing for a year I am just out of stuff to do in the game. Before you say anything I completed my island, completed the museum, gotten all the villagers I want, completed the nook mile achievements, and of course did a lot of trading with other people to get stuff I want. I am just feeling worn out from this game and I don't feel that accomplished. The thing is this game is just the same as it was last year with no new improvements. Yes its 2021 and we are still waiting for Quality of Life improvements.
I would play on certain days when there is a certain thing happening like if there is a new event I'm interested in or if its like new items being added I would check it out. However that Sandro update that I saw is not something I am interested in hence the reason why it was a sign that it was time for me to step away from the game. I am just getting tired of expecting too much with this game as the months go by and that is why I made the decision to put this game to rest and pick it back up until there is new improvements made to the game whenever it happens.
This was super nice! You seem to get super comfortable in your videos it seems :) Hope to get some more casual lets plays

A game change I wish they would include is that you could use your savings account in the shops, without worrying about what's in your pockets, random but I'd definitely find it useful 😉 probably not, but I wish that was an update 😉

yes I do tend to well at least to keep my inventory empty of what I don't need. Also i feel the same about able sisters!
My Dailies:
(keep in mind I play at 6-7am so no shops are open)
-See who's visiting my island
-Dig up all my fossils
-Assess them and sell the duplicates
-Find my money spot and bury 11,000 bells then move it to my money tree area
-Give all my villagers presents that I don't have their photos

You have cuter versions of the typewriter and sewing kit than I do. My dailies are picking up shells and fossils, gifting the 3 villagers who haven’t given photos yet, and selling everything at nooks.
U can put a clear custom design around ur flowers to stop them for cloning
The ladder in nooks cranny goes up to the nookling’s bedroom n stuff

Hi Lex I love shopping at Able Sister's and Nook's Cranny but mostly the stuff is Crappy at Nook's on my Island Sea Isle.I do all my normal dailies on my Island.All residents I have all do dailies to get those Sweet Sweet Nook Miles.
Absolutely unrelated, but about the T. rex thing, there are no direct descendants of T. rex. Chickens are among the four bird groups that have survived since the KT extinction, and the only relationship between chickens and T. rex is common ancestry. Yo I literally did that in my old Island I felt myself being chased by Timmy and Tommy
My dailies are just me calming my ocd tendencies…I have to do everything before I can move on to decorating or terraforming, etc. My dailies are checking the mail right when I exit the house (sorry but I just don’t get why so many acnh YTbers don’t do this because I feel like most of us players do,plus you get cute messages and gifts! Why wouldn’t you check it?), I check in at the atm kiosk in Resident Services to get my daily nook miles (you get 300 daily after 7 days in a row and nobody seems to do this in videos either lol) plus I check what items are being sold that day in Nook Shopping and I check the lost &found, I check Able Sisters and talk to Sable, check Nook’s Cranny for new items plus flooring/wallpaper and I used to check the umbrellas (now I have them all it seems), I hit all my rocks and make DIYs with the resources you get and I gift those DIYs to villagers(you don’t need to buy your gifts to them lol), I shake all my trees (I used to get 2 furniture pieces and 13 100bell coins daily until most of my trees became surrounded by flowers), I dig up the glowing 1000bells and then all the fossils and get them assessed by Blathers (I’m collecting all the parts to each dinosaur to see which ones look best to display and the duplicates I sell for a ton of bells at Nooks), while I do all of this I end up talking to every villager and I gift them something every day to get their photos eventually, also if a villager is inside Go into their house so you can get a diy from them (usually), also I pick up all the seashells to sell and the diy bottle on the beach and I shake any coconut trees for coconuts (they’re the best fruit to gift too, your villagers will always give a gift back unlike with apples or cherries,etc), and I pick up any weeds if they pop up (do you guys know if you get lower island ratings for having weeds? Some of them are prettier than flowers lol!). Is anyone else as thorough as me? My ocd just doesn’t let me play unless I do this..otherwise it’s just not as fun to do anything else if I didn’t go through the dailies first. It’s a great relaxer though if you go ahead and do it..it calms down any ocd tendencies, it’s relaxing and positive and wholesome af…really nice, mindless hobby to take your mind of things for a short while(I could never play 12 mfkin hours in a day…whaaat 😩😩😂). I have a theory about Nook's, the museum, and their potential for expansion.
All the other buildings you can place (your house, villager houses, Able's) an have pathing place right up to the front steps, because they have filled out the entirety of their plot. For Nook's & the museum however, the pathing will only go as far as one space away from the front steps. I believe that this means potentially they still have an expansion left to completely fill out their respective plots.
Also, my native fruit is orange.
We both have Butch and Ruby! I love them and their houses 🥺
My dailies consist of checking my mail, checking in to Resident Services, run around picking up weeds, digging up fossils (even though I have all the fossils, I sell the fossils to get extra bells), talk to all of my villagers, go shopping, collect shells, bugs, hit rocks, etc. Every one of my villagers have been in the museum when I actually had to find them. I often find Goldie in the art exhibit and the butterfly area of the museum, Ankha loves the fish exhibit, Snake likes the fossils and the fish. I also sell my DIYs too if nobody wants them. I keep all the ambers and sell my assessed fossils to the Nooklings for extra bells. I plan on give my villagers the ambers. I got several villager photos not by giving them fossils, but I hope that I can get some more photos.
In the shopping district you can do a rock garden and use It like a central square

Random question. I have a lot of black roses (probably around 100 or maybe a little more). I always water them with a regular can (saves durability of golden can), and then water each seperately with the gold watering can (to set the flag). I check the next day, and the most I've had was 2 golden roses. They're very scarce, yet when I look it up online people are saying once the golden flag is set, you have a 50% chance of breeding a gold rose. Was this changed in a recent update? Am I just unlucky? Etc...
Only use the golden watering can! If you use the regular it gives a higher chance of getting a normal black rose. I water my black roses every day and since I only have 2 for the purpose of gold roses and get one every other day 😉
@@Lilycatxo I'll try that out, thanks! I've just heard online that if you use a regular watering can, it makes the golden watering can last much longer. But I guess that's counteractive if I just keep getting more black roses instead 😂.

about the updates: nintendo announced that theyre gonna update the game for 3 years. So in that time I'm sure they're gonna listen to what we want. I think the door in ables and the ladder in nooks are signs for extensions. maybe label is gonna have a shop in the second floor at ables and nooks is just getting a big expansion. I doubt there's gonna be something else there. Theres a lot coming and I'm so excited for it

Very early on, I got a freezer from a balloon...and it functions as a wardrobe. I put it right outside the able sister's shop, so when I accidentally wear stuff, I can quickly change.
(My 10 y/o wonders if there are a bunch of corpses in the freezer and you're stealing their clothes...)

they're the boxes that are in your tent at the very beginning of the game - I just refuse to open them so I can use them as furniture

I just want brand new stuff added to the game to keep it fresh. if they bring back old features from past AC thats fine but this constant waiting for updates to come is really starting to become tiresome. I mean why can't Nintendo just give us like a heads up of what to look forward to in 2021 with New Horizons? They did last year when the game first came out with the Holiday events.
