Oh man, I am SO sorry to hear of the loss of your friend. Ron was an awesome part/friend of the channel. I really enjoyed his attitude, his hilarious sense of humor, and I truly can't believe that he's no longer with us. I am a 40 year old cancer survivor who wasn't supposed to live past 16, I lost one of my best friends when he was 35 from a heart attack, and I just can't believe that a wonderful life like Ron could be extinguished so early. Prayers for his family. God bless!
Thank you for CMR tribute. I actually go back and watch old videos of you two together, always puts a smile on my face. Thoughts and prayers to you and his family.

Hey Brant- I am new to this whole deep sea fishing thing. I have a fishing trip this next year and I am specifucally targeting shark (bull /black tip). I am clueless about what sort of reel to use. I am a huge Diawa fan- all my reels are Diawa. So- my question to you (and any fans that can answer this)- what sort of reel / reel size should I be looking for? I currently use a Diawa Saltist LW50 (cats and carp) and Octopus 300 (light). Any and all assistance is greatly appreciated! Also- I use right hand conventional....I do NOT have the knack of a spinner reel!!!🤷♀️ thanks in advance..... patty j
I just caught the sad news of the passing of your side kick ( I hadnt watched vid when I posted my question above)- my sincere condolences to you and his family.
Man Brant, I'd really love to have a pedal powered kayak to go fishing on the Ohio River. I live near Pittsburgh, so I don't have too many options, but I'm definitely going to have to look into a pedal powered kayak. I spent my teenage years near Tampa, Florida, but I left home when I was 14 due to me messing up in school, then I returned home at 16 when I was diagnosed with cancer, then I left home again at 18 when I was cleared (thanks be to God and my doctor). I have lived near Pittsburgh (where I was born) since late 2000. I now have a wife who I married in 2007, two teenage sons (who are SPOILED), and a rather expensive mortgage, so I try to make the best of what's available in my area. Still, it'd be really nice to have a pedal kayak to get to the other side of the hydroelectric dam that's downtown from my house (Townsend Dam, or Big Rock Park on New Brighton, PA). Big Rock Park was the victim of a derailed train which destroyed the Big Rock part of the park years ago, but my parents, my grandparents, my entire family is from this area.
Hat mount can be uncomfortable with the 5oz gopro on your head, but you get use to it. I've found it makes for much better footage than the chesty from a kayak.
I hope you are doing okay after Ron's passing..I miss you and Ron with the other clickbaiters content.. Just checking in with you..I was a big-time watcher of y'all's content..I know once you guys were a super team...when you are welcomed in someone's home you are family to them... I will definitely keep my promise to CMR in wearing his shirt in y'all store eating a bucket of cheese balls when I go on vacation.. praying for Sara and the boys and you to my brother..
