@@stephanen4939 it doesnt work on normal knockdowns so it makes sense to not work on his. Plus, he can just cancel the revive to remove the drill and start reviving right away. If hes close to finishing the revive he doesnt need to let the shield down since the moment the teammate is revived the drill will dissapear and not knock down the freshly revived teammate again.

I think rn bloodhound, gibby and valk are too good to be replaced. But valk is probably going to be nerfed when her heirloom releases this season, so she probably will not be a top pick for long.

Kandy check out the revive speed on Newcastle. Friend and I tested it out and it seems to be faster than everybody else. Everybody clocks in around 7 seconds while Newcastle seems to do it between 5 and a half to 6 seconds. Also if you use his ultimate before you land if you aim in a direction you can change how you deploy your wall. We had a team right below use but we couldnt shoot at them because of a over hang. So i used his ult to jump down and spun 180 degrees to set up the wall to face them. Surprised them to say the least.

Feel like newcastle is also pretty bonkers indoor, you can literraly create a wall in any room with your ult that the enemy can't easily come close because of the stun. Caustic can also put barrels behind the wall to make it even worst if enemy wants cross the wall for attack or chase.

I think that ult was taken directly from that other character that was supposed to be the season 4 legend before revenant killed him so fast I can’t remember his name.
I have played New Castle and he seems very strong and situationally stronger than gibby and I feel like lifeline and New Castle fill different niches but he seems like a B or C teir as of right now. What makes a legend strong is how aggressive a legends kit is and with how slow his tactical is rly takes away a lot of its “aggressiveness” but when u fight a 1 on 1 with a new castle and he has is Shield out you are fighting on his terms which can make him situationally rly strong. His ult is very good for taking space and holding it but with Ashe and Pathfinder or even wraith it kinda loses its power because u can become stranded. And his passive is superrrr situational and I prefer lifelines ngl but it is very unique and cool to say the least. If I were to make changes I would buff the movement speed of his tactical because that thing is sooooo slow and I would nerf his tactical health to maybe 300 or 275. I don’t see too much wrong with his ult ngl maybe increase the distance. His passive seems pretty good but it’s rly his tactical “unagressiveness” that rly holds him back. But I will 100 percent be playing a lot of him. His fortified is very nice but idk if I would prefer him over gibi. The interactions between Bangalore and New Castle are veryyyyy similar to me and my sister I just didn’t abandon her 😂 but the unique finisher was suchhhh a good touch overall imo B-C teir in strength A-B teir for fun

I would say Gibby is still stronger. If you are really good with him then his gun shield is just a broken feature. His bubbles are really nice and provide good fighting if you can bubble fight. And his ultimate actually deals damage as well as helps with opening rotation abilities and various other things in end games for big tourneys. Gibby Ult is big tourney end game.

I feel that agresiveness isnt as important in apex as it used to be. Out of the 3 most meta legends right now: bloodhound, gibby and valk, 2 of them are op because of their exceptionally good ability to defend or disengage, both of which are opposites to agresiveness. Also, i'd say his passive can be better than lifeline's in mid range fights which is where most apex fights are at, because most enemies will try to kill a downed player if they dont have the ability to push you before your teammate is revived. If your teammate is out of cover and downed, lifeline cant do much, but newcastle can very easily get them to cover and revive at the same time. Its also exceptional at long ranges in sniper battles for the same reason, since 1 headshot on a downed teammate means death for the most part. Lifeline does have her moments where she shines, but reviving a teammate with lifeline passive will almost always get them killed if the enemy is nearby.

Ideas: give lifeline the shield back along with the auto revive. Make her ult throw out the drone that does a aoe heal over time that is basically caustic ult but healing. Give wraith back her instant cast on the tactical no need for speed boost just remove that cast time from a ability that is reaction based. And make it so wattson can use an ultimate accelerator on her ult that either recharges it or super charges in some way like it makes a temp a rampart amp cover in the shape of a gibby dome so it makes your bullets do more dmg and stops enemies bullets for a set time before the pylon blows up. If you can’t tell I main wattson and she needs some love from devs

Edit: I hardly use the tactical anymore I just position better in fights and don’t play as aggressive on wraith. Maybe just me but in its current state I find it pretty unnecessary due to its cast time. Why slow down and cast this ability when I could just get to cover if I keep running. Also see it all the time in RUclips clips after a wraith tactical use they just spin around while it’s casting. It’s dumb.

Edit: I hardly use the tactical anymore I just position better in fights and don’t play as aggressive on wraith. Maybe just me but in its current state I find it pretty unnecessary due to its cast time. Why slow down and cast this ability when I could just get to cover if I keep running. Also see it all the time in RUclips clips after a wraith tactical use they just spin around while it’s casting. It’s dumb.
@@pnutimusthe1st it's more balanced now that it takes time and you actually have to think before you run in and you have to position correctly to use it, when it was instant it was a get out of jail free card and was just not fun to play against as a child who is missing half a brain could use it, now you have to think

So between you and me that’s a you problem and well this could go on a while because what I think is right you say is wrong and what you say is right I’m saying I didn’t care it wasn’t a problem for me.

Hey I'm new to computer apex and my game is crashing occasionally and sometimes I get some sort of apex specific crash (I forget what its called, but I looked it up and said some sort of driver being too new or too old) anyway does anyone know why this would be happening? I have windows 11

@@kandyrew when locking on a team mate, it goes up to 75m and similar to ash's portal it only counts horizontal distance not vertical distance, so you can get some insane leaps if you lock on to a valk team mate as shes high up in the air.
