I am in total agreement with everyone else. This is a phenomenal song! Led by the great Eddie Kendricks! It was released as a 45 in 1969. The "A Side" of this 45 was "Runaway Child, Running Wild." "I Need Your Loving" was the "B Side." It was written by Barrett Strong and Norman Whitfield. It was released on "The Gordy Label." Both songs were ultimately included on The Temptations Grammy winning album "Cloud 9!"

I fell in love with his friend who drove a BLACK GRAND MARQUIS as we sat in front of my house with the ISLEY BROTHER'S playing on his car stereo I forgot all about my player boy friend and started dating his friend. The next time I saw x player boy friend this is the song he played for me 30 years ago. I will never forget this song. I NEED YOUR LOVING LISTEN TO THE WORDS.
