Nicely done and a credit to your attention to detail - finding one of the rare kits that were produced with RR RB211 524 engines is a challenge and to note that you, the builder was aware of the huge difference between what Hasegawa produces in their standard range of -400 series moulds with GE bins, to that of the huge 3rd party aftermarket selection of decals that can only be used on aircraft that were shod with RR RB211's, is also appreciated towards the detail you have portrayed here. I flew these big BA girls for 23 yrs through to covid when a well deserved retirement naturally fell due.

Great video looking to do a 747-400 v soon can I ask why u masked Windows then painted silver / grey ? As there were stickers or was that to fill them ? Also something u done was great to sea and that was painting the wheel sprigs after spraying … as u always have to do that lol.
Thanks for your comment. The first grey after filling up the windows were actually primer, and then silver was for the wing leading edges as I started to paint the wings first. Enjoy building the 747-400!
I love this build., Great work! I'm currently building a Virgin example - I'll be stealing the ideal of masking the wings before fitting. Can I ask please what you filled the windows with?
Thanks for your comment. I used Mr.Hobby Surfacer 500 to fill the windows which was not a recommended way as the putty shrinks quite a bit when it dries so you have to fill it over and over again until the windows are completely filled.

I did this in 1/144 scale about 6 years ago. Love this livery.
