Kendra, you inspired me to rock my microlocs short. They are alittle past ear length. I was thinking about getting extensions, but when I saw your older videos I was hooked and inspired ❤ no expensive loc extensions for me!
I prefer a scarf over a bonnet. It lays your hair down and helps with frizz! ❤ I use to have to use bobby-pins when I did my two conrows, but since using a scarf nothing sticks out!
Hello, thank you for your platform and content. I will start my loc journey on Monday and I’m super excited. You were and still are my inspiration. Definitely when rocking with you for years don’t even know how many but it’s been a while lol. Congrats on your 4 years and I can tell you are in and living your best life. It looks good on you. Are you still using the nappy loc tool? Can’t remember if you said that or not
Love your locs! You were the first influencer I found when I started researching locs years ago. I haven’t committed yet for fear of hair thinning and alopecia. Do you think keeping your hair shorter is more conducive to preventing thinning of the hair, alopecia and losing locks? I really want to get locks but concerned about traction alopecia. I noticed that most who complain about that have very long locs. I’m not really concerned with length. My hair is near bra strap and hits my shoulders when curly. It seems that thinning and tension alopecia should be preventable as long as there’s minimal weight and tension on the scalp. I notice that you have maintained thickness over your journey and your hair is near my length when curly. I’ve been wearing mini micro twist for about three months and will curl them to get the same curly lock look. I think I’m just ready to take the next step and lock them. Thickness, hair and scalp health is more important to me than length. ♥️
I don’t think she does. After 1 year, a lot of people say they stop because they become fully locked. If your hair isn’t locked by the 1 year mark, I recommend continuing to braid and ban. I think I’m going to do it forever because I like it. My hair is really thick and it helps me focus on mini sections which ensures my hair is throughly clean.

@@KendraKenshayYou're welcome 😊
Been following you since your tapered haircut days❤ Thanks for the update!!
Do you use any vitamins to aid in your hair growth?
Hi Love! I do not use any vitamins for hair growth.
Okay thank you ❤
Your color is gorgeous! Is that permanent color?
Love your hair and style, sinds you had a tapered cut. And can we get a make up 2023 tutorial, step by step ptoduct by product? Please 🥴
Do you still or sometimes braid and band? What’s the length of your hair now?
