@@sh4rrppl4ys49 My Brother, far be it from me to dissuade someone from pursuing their dream. If you really want to see it that much, then you SHOULD attempt to make the trip. For me, the big issue is that I was born and raised there, so I got to live there throughout the 1960s, '70s and first half of the '80s, when it really did seem almost like a paradise. By late '92, I couldn't stand what had become of it and moved out of the state altogether. Whenever someone would ask me, "Why did you leave L.A.?", I'd say, "Go watch the 1993 movie 'Falling Down'." . Today, it's even worse. Weirdos & wackos & graffiti everywhere. Closed businesses, with homeless & drug addicts throughout the severely congested city. But if you go, for sure, Venice Beach is one of the most iconic & quintessential L.A. experiences. (Just don't let any of the con artists sell you one of their compact discs.) I recommend lunch at The Sidewalk Cafe, from where you can watch the strange parade pass by. Also, the Townhouse bar located right off the boardwalk is very cool & loaded with history. And don't miss a walk through the Venice Canals, which are only a few blocks east of Ocean Front Walk. Even most Angelenos aren't aware of the beautiful canals, which are the primary reason the place is called "Venice". . Hollywood Blvd. is pretty weird & grungy (always was), but you can see the iconic Chinese Theatre there, and from that same area you can look up to the north and see the famous "Hollywood" sign. Lastly, a night view of the lights from the Griffith Observatory, looking down over the city, is quite unforgettable!

We can visit any city in the world without spending a $, this is truly magical ... So blessed for internet and your videos, keep it going !! x My dream is to go to California one day
I'm not positive, but I think it was fashioned in the style of Venice Beach on purpose. I think Florida is the "place to go" now though, unfortunately for Cali. It's cheaper for tourists, the water is warmer, and the homeless issue is taken more seriously. Regardless, California and especially SoCal has its own beauty that's unmatched by Florida. The weather is PERFECT, the people are mostly chill, and it's just a totally different vibe from what I've seen in videos. I love it, and I plan to visit within the next few months. So beautiful!!
